You are underpaid- but happy- we all are underpaid too and watch you to be happy!!
There is one of my rules, when it comes to retro-spare parts: Always buy at least two of it ! I guarantee one or the other will break or you will never find it again - haha. And yes - I ordered a lot of stuff and cannot find it. It simply disappeared. I am sure, nobody took it. it just dematerialized.
Thanks Chris you are the man saving our loved relics from the past.
Everything is once again running properly in Amiga Land, good job Chris. 🙂
Very nice work. I've kind of steered away from Amiga 600's over the years. They always smell a little fishy ;)
Another great Video, thanks ! When I see an Amiga 600 I think of Commodore's stupidity and waste of resources.
We were like wtf when they came
Out
Chris, any chance of doing a series on how to play old amiga games in 2024? Just seeing these old amigas live again warms my heart greatly, I was bought up on 8bit computers like the ZX Spectrum etc, seeing an amiga for the 1st time blew my mind, especially the games. I know it can be done via emulation but I prefer the hardware versions. I bet I am not the only person who would enjoy this? Lots of regards from New Zealand!!
You got it
Havent commented in a while, but I do watch all of the vids as they come out, and they are all great. As always, keep up the Good Work.
Hi Chris, Nice video. On a moment in your life, you have so much components that you dont know witch and where. Sometimes i must search in my stock what i can find. Greetings from Steven from the Netherlands
audio issues, seems familiar, I uploaded super-short video of the ol' girl
Hi Ya & best wishes. SuperB! Thanks for work. Be Happy. Sevastopol/Crimea.

Great vid Dr Chris 👍🏻 Cheers 🍻
Sent a small donation Chris
thank you sooooo much!!!
Great stuff Chris!
On Aliexpress, similar keyboard connectors cost a penny :)
really? dang...
Shove it in a dishwasher.
Thanks!
Wow thank you so much
Congratulation, Chris for another fix and giving an A600 a new life. I am interested in that self running demo in the left top corner. What is it? It looks cool. Wish to build one myself. Hope you can give me a hint? 😊 thx.
all the parts and doohickies are listed in the description below each video, the pixel art is a Divoom pixoo max 64 from divoom dot com, it uses an app that you can download commodore and amiga and other things
No wonder there's a shortage of Pi.
😂
Love the videos. Have not built my Pimega yet. Where did you get the screensaver? Available on Linux or Windows?
pimiga and ubuntu have it built in, its called Lament, on Xscreensaver , its the old hellraiser cube
Dr Chris I am doing a rgb to scart, scart to HDMI converter can you recommend a good Scart to HDMI box converter. Unfortunately my 500 is pal and a friend told me this is a good way to keep legacy 15khz and do pistorm for and rtg.
GBS8200 series are dirt cheap. retrofriends on ebay sells complete units turn key with cables and all
Dumb question but how much do you charge for repairs? Debating getting an Amiga 500 on eBay that's probably broken since I can never find a decent one in my area.
If you read my about me, you will know that I repair these for free
@@ChrisEdwardsRestoration oh woah, good to know. I will definitely hit you up on this but will definitely donate etc. thanks man
paying that much for those connectors bc you seem to not care about costs is the reason the price is that far up, @Chris.
Those connectors are still available but ppl seek out ebay and such and get scammed by the prices YOU helped being established.
Sordans website is the same pricing
