That's exciting! Glad you're fitting in well in your new job! :)

You're so blessed, I had a interview in July during my last semester of Nursing school and it went well, I graduated in August and passed my NCLEX but they filled the position, so I'm glad to see your doing well it's been 3 wks of waiting for call back for job but I heard it takes 1-2 mths to start working.
Hi, Marjorie Are you working yet?

Hi, I have recently come across your channel by searching for nursing school tips and advice videos, so I am catching up! I hope this doesn't come across too stalker-ish, but I have just recently moved from where you are living now! I had lived there from 1997 to June 2015! I had graduated high school there, had babies there, and started my nursing school career there at SVC!! So watching this video makes me a little homesick, as I can see the scenery as you are driving! :)! I hope that everything is going well and continues going well for you! I look forward to watching more of your videos!! Thank you so much! ~Amy
Congrats on your new job! That is awesome! xo
That's great you're shifts are awesome! I see me in your shoes in a couple of years haha
Random Question: do you know all the diseases and their S&S and patho? I don't think I can memorize all the disorders and diseases out there...
I think it is impossible to know EVERY disease and the patho, sx, etc. I know a lot of the most common ones, and am learning more every day!
Ashley Adkins, RN Okay,I guess I'm just overwhelmed right now. I'm trying to be prepared as much as possible before I start nursing school next semester
Yes I do that question do you have stehocsope
very intresting & use full video for every nurse
thanks to share
@Ashley Adkins, How did the interview process go in terms of getting your job? Is the interviewing process like any other job or is it special???
On the first day, where/what's it that you do the sevcomd you get to the hospital? Are you supposed to find someone specifically and go on from there? That sort of stuff
I am so nervous I have a job interview Thursday 😩❤️❤️
you look like yassi pressman, she's a celebrity in my country😊
I liked the video, I'm a nurse, greetings from Mexico
Does the hospital you work at lets you wear any scrubs?
At that job, yes they did.
Am happy for you
Yes😊
Did you move to Spokane Washington? If so how are you liking it? I'm considering moving there from Houston to.
Spokane is kind of trashy. I guess it's the biggest city in the area. I live in the Seattle area. If you can afford, consider living in Seattle or the East side (Kirkland, Bellevue, Redmond). There's so much more to do here. You're near mountains for hiking and close to the water and the big city. There aren't a lot of places like Seattle.
Yeah, wonder where she is now?! I doubt she got very far!
how did you manage to get your job?
what unit were you on for this first job of yours? :o
You are so pretty
A year?!! 😱😰
Hi i'm new to your channel,,,i'm 26 years old mother of two little kids that's why stays at home and a full time mom!!
I dont want to have more kids and want to start my education and for that i dont have high school diploma so i'm trying to get my GED.I've order a book for that and i'll start study once i get my book.
I'm interested in nursing please let me know what to expect after getting my GED? is it possible to get admission in nursing right after GED or i would have to take extra classes for that ? also i dont work so what is the fee charges?
which nursing is best to do first? LPN Or RN? please guide me there's no one who can help me pelase help. thank you.
+HINA SAEED No. There are numerous college level pre reqs in general that must be fulfilled before applying to pretty much any nursing school. The hardest being the sciences (A&P I/II, Microbio, Chem), in my honest opinion. Jr/Community College is a great start for pre reqs. On top of that, completion of said courses does not even guarantee a nursing school spot. You must be competitive. Go RN, and better yet, BSN. ADNs will be phased out within the next decade as far as I know. My mother who is currently the interim nursing manager for head and neck pre-op told me that MD Anderson doesn't take anyone who doesn't have at least a BSN now. ADN resumes are tossed right out. That will unfortunately be the case for many major nursing jobs very soon.
Mark Llamas what about vocational school lvn to rn programs would you prefer that or community college route?
I know this reply is late but good for you for wanting to continue your education!!
I earned my GED when I was 20, then directly applied for the practical nursing program at the local technical school. I graduated with honors and have been a LPN for going on five years. I am now enrolled at my local community college for my ADN (RN).
So please do not let negative comments discourage you! Climb up the ladder any way that suits your life best! There are plenty of jobs out there for LPNs and ADNs and once you have your ADN you can work on your BSN!
Good luck and congrats again!
8 hrs shift only?
what type of nurse are you?
Lucero P. Santiago RN
You're so cute 😍😘
You seriously talk about nothing, you sound like a type of conversation like "How was your day?" So much for the TOPIC!
I apologize that you did not enjoy the video. :) I can't discuss things in too much detail due to HIPAA violations and work regulations. :)
