- February 5, 1950, her second appearance on Ed Sullivan's Toast Of The Town. On piano is Ray Bloch, the show's orchestra leader.
Improved video source, tint added.
I was about 13 I think when I first heard this. Still thrilled when I listen to this in 2021.
I am here in 2023 first time listener
Thank you for keeping this video active. I really, really enjoyed watching it. 🙂
That's James Mitchell dancing and none other than Ed Sullivan's orchestra leader Ray Bloch playing the piano!
1950 - Sunday nights visiting my Auntie Pat and Uncle Al. They were the first to get a TV and we were all there. However, their TV screen sure didn't get this clear a picture. LOL I'm sure I saw this one back then.

This show has been public domain for a long time. You won't even recognize the existence of public domain???
@@gsmoviememories9254 I do - I was talking about the show itself in general.
@@raymondgallardo576 There is no such thing as the show in general. The 1950s live telecasts were not copyright registered. SOFA can't claim a thing. It is an offense to falsely claim copyright.
You'd have to tell us at exactly what point the taped broadcasts were registered.
@@gsmoviememories9254 sorry about all that - thank you
