Do it. They are great cars. I had a 2014 A3 1.8tfsi s-line as my first car. Then I just loved the A3 so for my second car I had a 2016 S3 Cabriolet.

Bang & Olufsen system is amazing in these. My girl has th a3 2.0 quattro and i have the s3, both with the b&o and people think we actually have an aftermarket system in both our cars
Im 22,had my 2.0 Quattro for 3 years bothing but joy such a great nimble car for the city,i also drive a 5.0 mustang and id got to say,my Audi has a special place in my heart LOVE IT!!!💓💓💓

I have an a3 quattro 2.0 turbo and my brakes are not spongy at all ,it's 4 years old ,mega fun to drive 51mpg I can get ( not often tho 😉) ,handles as good as my m8's s3 ,and to be fare I've never found my a3 lacks in power ,drop it in s mode and in manual and there isn't much that can take you on a country road ,took mine to the track 3 days ago with no mods at all and flat out it touched 151mph . At 35 and on a new policy not using my no claims bonus its £410 fully comp ( and no I don't live in the country side 😂)

My 2014 1.4tfsi a3 has very nice and hard brake pedal. Also not spongy at all

Did that mpg include the town driving before from cold? My overall average speed is about 15mph, which is probably realistic for many people.
it includes a bit of town driving but mainly motorway
Does anyone know if service costs are absurd for the a3/a5 generally speaking?
Would a stage 1 be a good choice because I heard you can get it to 240bhp but I don’t know if the engine is strong enough
Absolutely the engine is strong enough. Only thing you need to be wary of is the s-tronic gearbox but you can get that mapped as well so go for it.
In Sweden we gett 280hp, stage one, and the s-tronic handle it just fine
A good stage 1 tune will get you above 290 crank horsepower if I’m not mistaken. These golf gti/a3 ea888’s love mods
The 150 hp tdi has 190 since 170k km, now is 293k km and no related issues.
Why is it rare ??… I just bought one myself… 2.0 tfsi black edition Quattro 2017 with only 29,000 miles ❤ love it 😊

What engine is in it
2.0t, very similar to the mk7 gti engine just that this a3 has different internals

Don’t understand how many times i come back to this video🤣🤣Had a 1.5tfsi but potentially looking at the 2.0t quattro and preferably the hatchback. Cant decide whether to get manual or the 7 speed dsg, would be my first automatic!😅 Edit: Nvm, cant find any 2016 or 2017 model that has the 7 speed🤣🤣
