Really interesting tour of Palm Springs. Great history of each hotel also. Would be nice to see you do more exploration of the city, and the different points of interest.
That place you asked about is Superbloom studios they are fashion designers and also are known for their abstract paintings which often mirrors their clothing and accessories. They are amazing creators of unique colorful hats and other items.

Hi Laura, I saw a couple of clips from the show on UA-cam and I would love to watch the entire series. I love property makeovers like this. I wish it had been on HGTV like the Brady Bunch House was.
This is a great video. I live a block away from this hotel and I think it's amazing how beautifully this neighborhood has come together. I've been living here almost 17 yrs and I love it!

I hope that y’all had a great 4th of July.
Hi Steve, thanks again for another terrific program. Were you aware that Suzanne Somers house was finally sold? Like 8 million? The first listing on the home was like 34 million. The Lucy and Desi hotel in Indian Wells is now the Indian Wells Country Club. Their hotel is now the 11th and 12th fairway of the Country Club. Then the Hyatt Grand Champions was built. I stayed on the 10th fairway. Arnold Palmer won the first Bob Hope Desert Classic which was at The Indian Wells Country Club. I played the two courses at The Indian Wells Country Club. Now it's not The Hope anymore and is played at PGA West in La Quinta. You are correct when you say The greater Palm Springs area is rich in not only Hollywood history but history in general. From Dinah Shore to Bob Hope to President Gerald Ford. I'd love to live there.
Hello Steve and Jim! Wow...what a great historical tour in this video!! Ha...we were looking into maybe my wife and her sister and their mom coming to Palm Springs for a ladies trip. We looked into reservations at the Trixie Motel; it looks like a really fun place!! But..that comes with a price. I may just apply that cost towards furniture for our new condo and they just stay there hehehe. Thank you for this fun video!! I am hopeful that we all can start to get along!

Hi guys, I enjoyed your grocery haul video, you are both so organized. Steve, you mentioned the calories in milk, have you ever tried Unsweetened Almond Milk? I use it all the time, 30 calories per cup. 👍🏻
Hi Elizabeth, I just tried it for the first time last week and I'm a convert. That's all I will be buying from now on. I think I bought the sweetened which was still only 60 calories. Half that of what I was buying. Thanks! :-)

It's funny you should show that Motel. Kind of a long story but because of cable that I had at certain times I never was able to watch RuPaul. Then I move to Massachusetts and I was able to get the current seasons of RuPaul. Changing the fire stick I'm now able to watch the old season of RuPaul and I'm now on season 7. I had previously seen Trixie so I knew who she was but I think that's so much fun to see her Motel. Second thing I wanted to say is I'm not going to watch you buy food anymore because now I'm hooked on Fudge Bars. Lol Just kidding I love your Channel and both of you. Stay safe
@@theretiredlifewithsteve Unfortunately these are not but I did also buy Zero sugar fruit popsicles. So I eat those in between. But I forgot how good those fudge bars were. So I will think about you every time I have one and smile.

Hey Steve I don't remember seeing this one,so I'm responding 7 months later,oh well better late than never 😂.right? Hi Saykhel, it really depends on what you like. As a very famous, international vacation destination, we have something for everyone here. As you say, pink was a very popular color on buildings and looks good on certain Spanish Colonial Revival buildings. However, the Pepto-Bismol tinged pink is just too pink and garish. Maybe the sun in Palm Springs will tone it down over time.
