Imagine being a tree for 205 years what a loser lol
This got me 😂😂
Oh hell no! You ain't gonna call my boi Harold a looser! I challenge you to a duel of yellow nuka-cola drinking!
@@user-fn8jo2mo2dJarate nuka cola
why would he do that? is he stupid?
@@Rooki58Sniper fallout 4
Dam poor samurai dude. Just like the Sole Survivor, that place he called home no longer exists, technically speaking.
Japan was probably in the war path of China during the Sino-American war tbh. I could believe it was lightly nuked compared to China itself. Why nuke an old enemy, when a current one is beating down your door?
Not even just technically. The Japan of Toshiro's time hasn't existed for centuries even now.
@MrDalek2150 Exactly, even if Japan was left untouched by nuclear war everything he ever knew Is gone or changed beyond recognition
His world has essentially changed multiple times over. The only thing he could relate to by that point is maybe some museum peices, if there are any. His language would be too old to use with the people who inhabit those same lands.
If they ever did a fallout game based in Japan, a samurai being sent into the wastelands by aliens sounds like an awesome plot of sorts no?
Kellogg, he’s a 108 years old. He looks good for a century old box of cereal.
Lmao
Yeah but he tastes kinda stale, lost his crunch too
Cereal Killer
Renamed his revolver Kelloggs's Rice Crispies.
The samurai seeing the world like: *what the fuck is this fever dream?*
Mama Murphy looking goulish in Fallout4 she's gotta be like 300
Nah, she's just a drug addict. She's actually 24.
Lmao
Doesn’t she hook up with Hancock?
@@TheRealNSAWHAT!?
@@Sanityangel_ search up ghouls hate Hancock
The creator of nuka cola lived for a long time even though he was a head in a jar lol
I am actually not sure how old he is but he must really old! Looks like he was already getting on a bit once he became the cyborg/cryo machine he is now.
@@UraniumFever76 John-Caleb Bradberton made nuka cola in 2042. If he was 20ish *doubtful*. That would make him 50ish when his head was in a jar and the great war. Add in 4 timeline. 270ish. So about the same age as the ghoul at good neighbor.
@@Descina I'd guess he was probably in his late thirties or early 40s just based on the fact that John Pemberton created coca cola at the age of 55 and Caleb Bradham created Pepsi at 26
John called Bradberton?
There’s an unnamed ghoul triggerman in Vault 114 that talks about unions and “before the war”. God I wish Bethesda had done more writing like that. Giving personalities to unnamed characters immerses you so much more.
My favorite is the two raiders behind the hardware store talking about the crazy guy who pretended he had a machine gun, rocks were grenades and that he had a motorcycle
If only Bethesda didn’t push out their games and delayed them 100 percent of the time
(Starfield was delayed because of cyberpunk)
@@spacebird1598Currently replaying Fallout 4 and i heard that conversation some days ago lol i love the little details in these games
@@spacebird1598 That one was really funny. I also liked the one unnamed raider who is at his buddy's grave, and he's giving this sort of heart-to-heart to his dead friend.
Yeah iirc originally all ghouls were straight from the great war.
But then it becomes kinda murky. I think most are supposed to be from the great war but there are some that appear to possibly exist due to slow radiation build up.
I remember replaying 3 and something the ghouls said made me think they ghoulified after the war.
I wonder how long the Mysterious Stranger has been around
Very good shout. If it's the same person then a long time I think!
@@UraniumFever76I suppose Nick Valentine (only because he is the replacement and replicated personality of his human counterpart same as tye Sole Survivors Son and his synth counterpart) Frank Horrigan and also maybe even Dr Braun of Vault Tec are also some of the longest lasting survivors as well as the scientists in Big MT most ghouls live for centuries anyway certain intelligent super mutants have lived longer than their life span
That's truely a mystery.
Thanks, I'll be here all night!
My theory is he and dogmeat are actually somewhat divine beings, hence why they seem to be immortal
It’s possible seeing as there are gods canonically
@@YOURteacher_100every dogmeat after fallout 1 are the offspring of the original dogmeat, who died at the mariposa military base. That means that it’s a whole bloodline of dogmeats.
Rex from fallout New Vegas is 209 human years old but if you convert that to dog years he's 1463 dog years old making him the oldest character
And if you help Rex he'll live for even longer so that number will just keep on climbing
Uhhh, we are talking about human years. Not short dog years
there are the scientists in the big MT, along with the handful of brains in jars. plus you can't ignore Lily bowen she was a little girl when the great war started and ended up in a vault, almost a century later as a old old grandmother she was dragged from the only home she had really known subject to horrible mutations by the master and turned into a nightkin.
Yeah some really strong candidates there. I might make a longer lore video on this, as I missed out a lot!
That makes her the around the same age as everyone else from before the war that’s still alive….
Is that the lore for lily? Never heard of her origin it's cool to know
@@jakattack117 her sword is also the helicopter blade from an enclave vertibird from klammath.
You can find that crashed vertibird in fo2 and (can’t remember her name) the old woman from the enclave in Novac said she was flying it.
the vault tec rep might be a couple years older than the fo4 survivor
and he got to the future the old fashioned way
Yeah I should have mentioned the pre-war ghouls tbh. Good call!
Didn't he say he was working 20 years for Vault tek? He was easily knocking 40-50 years to begin with maybe more and he was not frozen.
More like 15-20
The ghoul in fallout 4 who is in good neighbor and sells stuff.
Daisy i guess
Yeah daisy is old, 270
@@UraniumFever76 everyone on mothership zeta minus the woman was a slaver. Dean domino is old too from dead money and the brains from old world blues if you count them.
Raul was also born pre war so he’s got to be at least 200 years old
From his stories about growing up in Mexico and his sister it sounds like he was probably a teenager or young adult when the bombs fell especially given his knowledge of prewar fuel company mascots
i want the next fallout game to have the samurai dude be an important character. like you can just see him roaming the wastes in some apocalyptic-themed samurai gear while giving you advice
They could do it like Skyrim's Ebony Warrior
@@solopeyton7168
Wholeheartedly agreed.
kenshi vibes
What about that one triggerman talking about jobs "before the war" was kind of wild to hear that and think wow he lived for hundreds of years just to get his skull blown apart by a 308 when he wasn't paying attention
Nick Valentine's nemesis, Eddie Winter, may be the first person to become a ghoul and was probably over 50 at the time since it takes years to rise to the top of an organized crime family, so he would be around 260 years old by the time Valentine catches up with him.
While it's an odd route you can also argue for Nick himself
That's what I'm saying!
@@BlackLiger788 technically Nick Valentine in fallout 4 could be considered a kinda "clone" and not the actual nick Valentine
I’m pretty sure cooper Howard is currently the oldest ghoul alive
@@qwart22 Winter was a ghoul before the war. Coop turned ghoul sometime after.
the sole survivor is 25 canonically
They act & look early 40s by default
@@BabySniff bro you have never met a 40 year old, they look 30 at max
Source?
@@CaseSet236 todd howard himself
@@guy13677 Todd Howard has never met a 25 year old either. Nate and Nora are way too mature looking - they're more like 32-35. Although this is the same man that thinks a fresh 18 year old like The Lone Wanderer is gonna look like a 43 year old alcoholic.
Along with Harold would be Marcus, since he was also alive when the master was, tho we don’t know how old he was when he became a super mutant
Father should also be in this list as he is the sole survivors son but is physically 60 years older which is kinda weird to think about
I want to see more of poor Toshiro, Like for example Create a Fallout Japan Game, where Toshiro Managed to make it back And Start A Samurai Clan In the wasteland so to speak, and he keeps making references about his time in Mothership Zeta
Yea that would be nice but as we know, cause of fallout 76, they don't listen to fans
@@squal1997
Hey, they do! But only when literally every fan of that media is complaining about something.
id like it if he talks about old japan but refuses to speak about his capture cuz it dishonors him
@@_trudge samurai would rather die than be captured
I was thinking Daisy… but then you got going 😂
Daisy should have probably got a mention tbf shes 270 I think!!
Now we got the Ghoul joining the gang!
Eddie winter is definitely up there
Every pre war ghoul is obviously
Too bad harold never gets any older after FO3 amiright?
Oh I get it, it’s because he passed away from old age 😜
always convince him to live, with how his perception is expanding and the fact he was created by the same formula as the master makes me think he could end up a legit swamp thing like being in time.
@@CanOfPeaches94yeah… old age…
@@valwenventureco9285I want to hope Harold gains some form of a body once more so he can walk among people and whatnot, but also so he can pursue things most simply can’t. Poor Harold deserves to be able to tend to a garden and listen to birds chirp among trees, calming things like that.
@valwenventureco9285 be fucking terrifying if an entire forest starts communicating with you telepathically, before you find this really fucked up giant-tree-mutant-guy-thing at its center.
He could also become some sorta super-ent, or maybe that forest can slowly sift its roots through the dirt.
"Could you leave me alone? I had hoped these trees would help me for once; but no, people still bother me."
And you come back later, and he's like: "I moved a whole inch while you were gone! If I keep this workout up, I could eventually move 15 feet a year! You'll see! Even better, you won't!"
I count the Cabots since theyve experienced their whole age unlike the samurai or sole survivor
Yeah, Eddie Winter was the first Ghoul I think so he would be pretty old
If he was the first ghoul, he'd be roughly the same age as the Sole Survivor.
@@barricusbear6769 He has gray hair, I think he was old, plus the years he's been in his place, just maybe like 15 or 20 years more
The owner of the shop next to Kill or be Killed in Goodneighbor says she's about 270
Poor vault tec employee from fallout 4
Why? Every single pre war ghoul is in the same boat
The mutant shopkeeper Daisy in Goodneighbor is a pre-war ghoul, as is the Vault-Tec salesman. Assuming that either of them is around 40 when the bombs fell, that would put them in the 250 year range
The vault Tec interviewer from the start of fallout 4 is still alive as a ghoul, making him a similar age to the protagonist
Same as the Sole Survivors the Vault Tec Guy from the begining of the game still lives later in Fallout 4. He is a ghoul But would be around 240-250 years. Not being Frozen and still havin His sanity
Lorenzo. Dudes from the early 1900s
Raul Tejada is 234 while in fallout new vegas. I don't know if a ghoul count as consistent aging, but mr house never stopped aging, he just has a better life support
Definitely think they did I think daisy from fallout 4 is actually 270!!
Calvert and Desmond from point lookout
I'm actually doing a lore video on them at the moment! They both would be old too.
Love Toshiro❤
Harold deserved better. Dude was a Fallout 1 original - he even helped you find the military base! I loved Harold. Bob should've known his place!
It would be funny if the samurai just looked at you confused af because he spoke japanese from 100's of years ago
Braun from fallout 3 seems older than house and the soul survivor, notable mention
I wish they'd brought back the Samurai as a companion in _Fallout 4._ He's had 10 years to learn English and familiarize himself with the wasteland.
Hes dead. No way he survived in the wasteland after being frozen that long with no way to communicate.
The ghoul you meet at the junk shop in good neighbor is 270
“Good morning! Valtec calling,” the salesman
One of my favorite things about the Fallout universe is the way it takes science and tech to logical extremes. Fallout has always been very good at blending the alien and abnormal with the familiar.
The vault-tec guy from the intro of Fallout 4 would be about the same age as Sole survivor given he's pre-war.
The vault tec guy became a ghoul lived until the sole survivor found him
Desmond and the mobster you kill for nick Valentine have to be up there
The misterius stranger
I had him originally in my script but ran out of room. If its the same person he's been around for ages too!
The vault-tec rep at the start of Fallout 4 is older than the Sole Survivor and you can find him as a ghoul later.
If lily was dipped long enough ago shes up there
Daisy from good neighbor is a prewar ghoul that’s retained all her faculties
Well now Cooper Howard is one of the oldest that actually lived through his 200 years+
The samurai dude from mothership zeta dlc in fallout 3
Lorenzo!
Mr. Bradberton was put in his machine in april of 2077
The pre war feral ghouls that are your former neighbours (from the random encounter) in fallout 4. They became ghouls when the bombs dropped making them also roughly around 240 years old (give or take a few years)
The dude at the beginning of fallout 4. The dude in fallout 3 that has your dad in a simulation.
That one Ghoul merchant in goodneighbor when you first enter I think is 220?
I haven't played for a while but the ghoul vendor at the "free place thing" in Fallout 4 next to the gun robot shop. She asks you to return a book which means she lived before the bombs fell
Probably the Four Horsemen of the post Apocalypse or that Doctor who drove that police box
Eddie Winters was a prewar ghoul, he might even have been the first. He doesn’t beat the Cabots, but assuming that he was around 50 or 60 years old when he mutated he’d at least be older than the Sole survivor
Bradberton! He’s gotta older than 250 years!
What's the mod that gave you the empty quarter desert cell/bg?
It's called 'Age of Airships 2' I'm working on a bigger lore video where I will show more of it.
That dude in tenpenny tower talking about who he was before the war
He’s wearing the Oda clan symbol I’m pretty sure. Neat.
Raul
There are some ghouls that are very old in the Fallout universe 😱
The robobrains from the vault in the far harbor dlc. They should be considered one the oldest, despite their bodies being perished long ago, their brains technically are still alive.
The vault tech salesman , u meet at the beginning of fallout 4, you encounter him again, when is is a ghoul, so he is old.
The CEO of nuka cola you can find his cryogenic frozen head in nuka world dlc if you find all the cappies
The vault tech rep in fallout 4, the ghouls from the LA vault professor Calvert, Desmon Lockhart, any of the ZAX super computers...
They should make a story of the lone samurai journey throw out the wasteland
Do we know how long the aliens live? It's possible they live for hundreds of years
so chrinilogically and conscious itd be elonzo. hes experienced the most time awake and aware
The vault tec rep also would be somewhere past harolds age due to him being found as a ghoul in fallout 4
There is a Ghoul in Skinny Malone’s gang who talks about pre war cons they did, making them approximately the same ages as Eddie Winter too
Damn they are like living breathing characters in a game
If younger me had played Fallout 3 and found a fucking Samurai i would have lost my mind and he would have been my favorite NPC easily 😂
The inventor of nuka-cola is technically still alive Fallout 4 Nuka World DLC
Beatrix, the cowboy ghoul in freeside.
My first bet was Harold. Than I remembered the rollercoaster of lore problems, questions, quality and story that was Mothership Zeta. Btw... Does anyone remember the old Mothership Zeta Crew mod for Fallout 3? Sad that it died of... It was quite good.
The old dude with the helmet man he over 1000
It’s definitely Preston Garvey, no matter how many times i try to kill him he gets right back up with a damn settlement to save
Potentially the mysterious stranger as we literally no next to nothing about him bar his locations across the varies games that all take place at different times. One theory from our favourite synth valentines is he’s a ghoul with minimal scaring
Any of the pre-war ghouls, like Raul, and the Vault 15 ghouls lived for hundreds of years without being frozen.
The samurai guy in FO3 MZ is the oldest.
The Vault Tec Rep from fallout 4 seems to be a bit older than the lone survivor, became a ghoul, and was not frozen like our hero. Ergo he is older than 240 years old, and has been aware the entirety of his age.
Vault Tec Rep also survives the great war (as a ghoul) being somewhere around 240 as well
The oldest protagonist physically is our 76 protagonost, being an adult going in the vault, and leaving 25 years later, asumin we are in our mid 40's, near 50's from the time progression.
Marcus, the first generation super mutant leaving the unity when it was destroyed in the year 2162 being unknown when he was turned
making him known to be at least over a 119 years old
I'm angry that the soldier from the sierra army Depot offallout 2 wasn't mentioned
Nate was also cryogenically frozen so I don’t think that would disqualify
Don’t forget Kellogg he was easily in his hundreds when the sole survivor got to him due to institute meddling
The Vault-tec salesman from fallout 4. Probably is his late 30’s when the bombs dropped and lived as a ghoul
The aliens on mother ship zeta must be thousands of years old
It’d be pretty cool if we could get a game where you play as Kellogg before the commonwealth.
Vault sales rep, they'd be about the same age as the sole survivor.
You cant forget about Raul, who was alive pre-war
in fallout 4 you can meet the Vault-tec adveritsement guy as a ghoul, so he's like 240 ish consistently aging
The Vault Tec guy who gets turned into a ghoul is older than Harold.
I always keep Harold alive and pretend that I'm feeding the tree fertilizers so that it just grows too healthy to be killed
Raul “am I a joke to you smoothskin amigo?”
