It's cute, but your enthusiasm is even cuter! Seriously, thanks for being so generous, to share a pattern for something you sell!
Your voice is just fine, that’s who you are.
Ooh you could use ribbon instead of binding (with a cute pattern of course)
i definitely love your humility. You are awesome but are constantly giving kudos to everyone else. you are such a great instructor/explainer! thanks for all you do
What a great tip to pull up the thread on the zipper binding.
how timely!!! I just dug out my roll of clear vinyl 10 minutes BEFORE this video dropped! Yay!
I just made a few of these, stinking cute is the best description. 💗
Thank you for your generosity in sharing the how-to tutorial. Very cute bag !
Great tutorial! And thanks for not making us listen to the hair dryer!
Thank you so much for allowing us this pattern!! I have wanted to make these for a LONG time. It is so generous of you!
Love that little bag! Yep .. I have a LOT of vinyl .. thank you Jessica!!! 😊
So adorable. Thank you so much for sharing the pattern. I have so much clear vinyl and I struggle trying to find ideas to use it as a main fabric not just a clear pocket or feature in another bag. Great video as always!
When making the binding (or any time you want to set your creases) use your clapper to cool it quickly. Works beautifully.
This was a perfect tutorial as always! Thank you! Love these vinyl pouches for teacher gifts and also my students! Hope you will keep making new vinyl pouch ideas, they are fun!!
I bought color vinyl some time ago and hadn’t tried it yet. Thanks Jess, this is just in time for me to make something with it. My granddaughter just started back to school today and this is going to be for her.
Adorable bag! Thank you for sharing!
Little chunky plastic babies lol They are very cute and I'm gonna give it a go when I get my clear vinyl in. Thanks for the tutorial!
Love this! Will make for my granddaughters👍🏽❤️
Jessica, thank you so much for this! My daughter and I are going to see The Weeknd in concert in a few weeks and we needed a clear pouch 👝 . I can't wait to make two of these into crossbodies! 🙂
Thank you so much Jess, I really really enjoyed watching you create this amazing and super cute 🥰 pouch. Absolutely stunning and gorgeous too. I also really really love ❤️ watching you, because you show us all every step of the way!!!!!!! Please stay safe and well too xxx Mags
Not gonna lie. That accident cut size. Is a perfect size for a pencil case. I have a Japanese one that I love that’s looks like that.
Love these. Thanks for giving us the tutorial including measurements. I have admired this in the shop, but maybe I will try myself.
Great pattern! I always enjoy your videos! But, girl, you need an arc lighter. They are flameless, no fuel, rechargeable, and safer. You can find them on Amazon. 😊
@Imorgan1028 Which arc lighter did you use? There are good and bad reviews about these but it sounds like an amazing lighter if it works!
Made it. Love it. Thank you!
So cute!! I'm going to make my g-babies little purses with that pattern, putting a handle at the top and a carabiner with fun dangly things!
You need a tailor’s clapper to hold down your ironed pieces until they cool.
Thanks for the tips!!!
Hi Jess, thank you so much for your great tutorials. I always learn new stuff from you. Those bags are adorable and the other day I bought some clear vinyl with cupcakes, candles, etc. on it. Super cute and this tutorial just came in handy at the right time. I made already two of them and if you believe it or not the second one I cut out wrong, too. I cut it to 7.5 instead of 8.5 because obviously I can't read the letters on my rulers properly, ha-ha. Came out super cute. One is for my friend and the smaller one I am going to take with me on my trip to Hawaii, yeah. Thanks again! You are an inspiration!
I have some cute ribbon -- that should work for the "binding" around the zipper, too. Great tutorial.
These are so cute! Now I know what to do with my clear vinyl
Sew Cute Jess! Love it, definitely gonna give it a go! Thanks for sharing this!! Love your videos ❤️
Fabulous.
Love these Jess, love from Australia
soooo adorable!
Love these! Thank you for the tutorial! I’ve been making them for a while and I make a binding for each end of the vinyl and then I sew it to the zipper. I also just cut one piece of vinyl and sew each end with binding to the zipper …it’s much easier the way you do it but… I like not to have that seam at the bottom haha 🤷🏻♀️
love your pouch Jess, great video.
Thanks for sharing to make this bag
Fantastic tips, thanks.
Love this!
Great tutorial.
These are so cute. I bought one from your shop and I love it! You have now enabled me to buy cute clear vinyl! These would be cute as boxy bags and a bit wider as makeup bags! I was thinking the same thing as a boxy top. Lol
So cute! There’s an art thrift store I like where I found clear vinyl with a cute cow print, I think I know what to do with it now. 😊 🐄
I had no idea you could buy printed vinyl but this is so exciting!
love this! Thank you! ❣❣❣
Yay! Thank you for this! (I was wondering why I couldn't a tutorial before. Lol)
Great video.
Thanks!
Just made one. Very cute! Thank you for sharing your ideas and talents!! The blow dryer technique to turn in worked perfectly for me! 😊
Using a tailors clapper might be a good idea for the green binding. It’ll hold the edges flat until they cool.
This would definitely be cute with metal D rings on top for a shoulder strap or crossbody.
Looking forward to the time when Jess has time enough to get back to bigger bag tutorials.
Love your videos!!! They make it so much easier the first time you are making a new pattern, especially if you are a visual learner. I’m looking for a video for Aneela Hoey booklet pouch. Would you concern doing a video?
I love these pouches and great tutorial! Have you (or anyone else) tried elastic for the “binding” since it’s mainly just to cover the raw edge and the tape? I have some glitter elastic I might try 🤔
Great video! Can you some time show us Babi's heating set up.
Another way to heat the vinyl (I don’t own a heat gun or hair dryer. I know crazy, right) is to warm up the ironing board with a nice hot iron and lightly press the vinyl against it.
Working on one today for IL DIVO concert tomorrow!! 🎉
We went to an outdoor concert lately and they said you couldn’t have a purse larger than 4-1/2x8-1/2 but coming in I saw a lot of ladies had clear vinyl purses of all sizes. That was ok. So this is perfect! Not that we go to many concerts 😆
Did you notice patterned clear vinyl? I have a clear one that I use but a pattern would be fun!
You r so lucky trying to get hold of this vinyl is near impossible
🤔 Now this has me thinking about other clear vinyl bags. I’m wondering about boxy bags. I think the clear vinyl would be great for travel toiletry bags.
Love these! Thank you for sharing the dimensions. I’m excited to make one.
Need to show us Babi's heating gun set-up please!!
From my Mom: So glad you are burning plastic indoors. The average person does not get enough toxic dioxins in the air, water or food they eat. What a smart crafter/quilter you are.
a clapper would have helped hold down that canvas binding after it was ironed.
Can you use a Decorative zipper so you don’t have to use the binding.
Thanks for all your fun and fantastic tuts! Love your pink iron-name??
Clapper might work well on your binding pieces.
I love this bag! When will you have the wash away double sided tape be available?
Another great video, how about one with your mum 😊
You can also turn than in hot water
Those are so cute. If I wanted to practice with some clear vinyl I already have what weight vinyl should i use?
Love this bag. I will be adding this to my To Do list! May ask Where did you get the Mickey pumpkin zipper pull?
Thank you for another great tutorial! Love all your tips and tricks for sewing with vinyl! Do you think you could use cork fabric for the binding around the zipper?
Yes
Thank you so much! What size of zipper tape are you using?
I am thinking of this for a stadium bag. How easy would it be to add a crossbody strap?
Hi Jess. Where do you get that adorable printed vinyl? Thanks much. I really enjoy your videos. Btw- I’ve made several bucket hats, thanks to your instructions and link to the pattern.
With the clear vinyl is heat a problem when at the beach or wherever? Just wondering. Thanks!
I’m just curious, was there a reason for doing the zipper not on top? Does it just give a cleaner look?
How do you get your pulls on the zipper tape?
Where did you get the iron you are using?
What kind of iron are you using?
Where did you get the cute label?
Where can you buy jelly vinyl prints
What brand is the iron please.
Could you add a strap somehow? My mom goes to sporting events so I think she would want a strap to be hands free.
Tank you so much and you are beautiful madam
Did anybody figure out the box top? I use one of these plastic pouches for my toiletries when I travel, but I need to flip box top, because I put a lot of stuff in the pouch. Anybody more experienced than I am able to draw simple shapes for the pieces? I should be able to figure it out from there. Thanks in advance.
im still kind of new to sewing so this may be a dumb question but when you talk about vinyl are you referring to vinyl like the cricut brand or is it a special vinyl?
Great question-definitely NOT a dumb one‼️‼️‼️
Jess - Where do you get your labels?? I have ordered 4 different labels from 4 different vendors and the text is too small. Can you tell me what vendor you use
Heartwood and hide
You know how to make a waitress order book
I need a cute chunky plastic baby! 🤣
Almost 30 min to make a bag?,😲
Sorry should have been "find" a tutorial. Lol
Hate to say anything bad about you, as I love you and your videos, but have to admit the last 6 weeks, they haven’t been your normal video,I know u have a family so are busy.
Why are you shouting. Use a normal voice.
