    Turbulence is a bastard too when trying to extend your pump endurance. Great vid 🤙

    great summary, two points that stand out or worth highlighting
    efficiency - move your front foot back to get the pump efficient, most I see need to do this, but blame their fitness instead
    conditions - anything but perfect conditions makes staying on foil very difficult - 5kn offshore with a few peaks and short period

    Hi Dave, thx for all your vids they are just great - excellent job! I am new to foiling transitioning from e-foiling. Got my first FoilDrive setup with Sunova Carver 5'2" (67l) & Code 1130s + 980s and would like to progress towards Amos Kruzer (to be used both with FoilDrive & as prone). I am bigger guy 187 / 95kg => shall I go for Kruzer 5'4" (with FoilDrive) + 4'11" prone or 5'8" + 4'11" or potentially 5'4" would be a good entry for me for both FoilDrive as well as Prone? Thx for your advise David.

    Good info!
    How would you compare the 960 or 1300 with the same goal in mind?

      I don't have the 1300s but I imagine I'd still lean towards the 1300.

    My biggest issue tends to be my legs burn out. I'll have energy to go but the legs just get to this point where they don't work right anymore hahaha.

    • @davewestfoils
      @davewestfoils  5 місяців тому

      @@maxnuccio2440 that might be a conditioning thing but usually it’s an efficiency issue. Right foil and right technique and choices make the biggest difference.
