Stopp the way mitsy still ran to Jackson after her own friends said no he has a special place in her heart and I hope he treats her better and they get a happy ending
Wow. That’s all I can say. Captivating movie from the beginning. I don’t know of any of the characters from Tik Tok, but the casting was top notch. The cinematography and music was also very good. I don’t want to spoil anything for those who haven’t watched it, but definitely gotta watch the whole movie. I can’t wait to see what the Director Stephen Meier puts out next. As for now, 10/10 for Woodbridge.
‘Woodbridge' stands out as a gripping testament to the complexities of adolescence and the enduring power of courage. Based on true events and masterfully crafted by Stephen Meyer , the film weaves a suspenseful narrative that plunges viewers into the heart of a small town where four teenagers, fueled by a shared sense of injustice, embark on a daring mission to confront their school bully. What begins as a clandestine escapade fueled by teenage angst quickly transforms into a tense showdown, forcing the protagonists to confront their own vulnerabilities and the potential consequences of their actions. 'Woodbridge' is more than just a thrilling tale of teenage rebellion; it's a profound exploration of the human spirit, the fragility of innocence, and the unwavering determination to stand up for what is right, even when the odds are stacked against them.
@@Jakewebberlive-t34 that's awesome. Was truly a delight to film with these 'kids' We had an awesome time on set, and I'm so impressed with each and every one of them.

Am I the only one who loved the whole movie, but as soon as I saw the end full on slammed my phone into a wall and hated this movie (ALSO HERE FOR CARRINGTON 😭😭)
fantastic movie but I think there should be more showing and less telling. The visuals are amazing, but it gets boring if the viewer is constantly looking at the same frame in the same environment. I feel like there was no subtly or anything for the viewer to interpret/predict/expect because we're only given information through the character's monologues.
@@StephenMeier-mq4th I loved the film, especially the ending. I'm so tired of people being too scared to kill off characters, you definitely have the knack to be a great director (obviously being able to kill(?) off a character isn't the tell tale sign of a good director, but this is just a bonus to the talent you already have if that makes sense). I'm really sorry if i'm overstepping, but definitely try to show the past of the characters more and how they're related. When you only show, it feels shallow as though the characters don't really know each other at all, like there's no tension between them. You don't need to show the abuse but considering how this is a relatively darker film, you can try implying the abuse the bully faced (ie, show the night of the sleepover, or show them as kids potentially with him trying to hide the bruises but also don't very openly reveal it to the viewer, make it more subtle, which is where a skilled director (you) comes into play. You could also show them getting told as kids the advice of not falling to the ground after a fight, because it'll bring us into the scene more and make us see the characters as real people and root for them. You could also try to show a strained friendship between the bully and the dude wearing a white crop top (im sorry, im horrible with names) because it feels like they know each other just as well as strangers do, and not like the sorta complex friendship/ex-friendship they have/had. Also, the adopted dude almost switched sides too fast without any self-reflection/internal strife or repentance (that the viewers get to see at least) but we just see that he's suddenly okay with keeping the peace, it just felt very ingenuine. I'm so sorry if any of this was rude, I did not intend for it to come off that way, i just love these kinds of movies and love the directors who make these kinds of movies even more (but obviously don't limit yourself to just one genre) and I can't wait to see what else you put out.
