no way. the nordics are perfect. Norway, Iceland, Finland, Sweden. In this order. You might think they're expensive but living in Norway is now cheaper than living in my home country which is in poland. hard to believe, i know.
Ahhh. This video was a breath of fresh air. Great content, the most excellent video quality. My dad is from indonesia but had to escape as a kid because of a war. People were getting killed in the streets. I think it was a war that was fought for Indonesias independence. That being said, it looks beautiful there. Would love to travel there and see my family roots.
Beware of the rainy season. From October until March the weather isn't the same as now. For fiber Biznet is quite reliable and they have fast speeds, 99% uptime.
First off, the B-Roll in this video was absolutely incredible! It was really interesting hearing the perspective of living there through the height of the pandemic vs. now. It is exciting to hear you and the family are looking to potentially go full digital nomad!
Usually in Kerobokan, a bit outside of Canggu. I think next time I will spend a month only in Sidemen or anywhere east from Ubud to avoid the crowds and enjoy real Bali 😍
Although I think that Finland gets darker in the winter month then Germany, I have the same issue from Nov. till March, that's why this epsiode was a good impulse.
If you stay in Indonesia for more than one month, I suggest you to visit Lombok (Gili Trawangan), Labuan Bajo (Komodo Island), and the exotic interior of Indonesia, namely Sumba Island 🙂 the weather here is very hot, but the view...👍👍👍👍👍👍 awesome
Great to see another country. Looks like a fun place to visit. Not really a fair comparison to compare expenses in Bali with New York City though. Lots of reasons I wouldn't consider living in NYC with a young family. Safety, or lack of, along with cost would be a deal breaker. Lots of nice places to live in the US or Sweden that don't cost near as much as NYC.
Yep, Bali would be my destination of choice if I could get away from November to March. The Suite your are in is awesome! It would of been nice to know the down side of living there or what the locals think about the Digital Nomad explosion... Enjoy your stay!
Great video!! I would definitely love to also go for months at a time 🙌 quality of the video is 🤩 I know you said in another video that the Zv E1 will be your new travel camera… PLEASE TELL ME THATS WHAT THIS WAS SHOT ON 👀👀 PLEASE 😂
Does anyone else comment that only your videos music is crazy loud compared to others. Every time I click on your videos I freak out and have to race for the remote. haha
Excellent video and that thumbnail was a banger, well done. It drew me into click on the video instantly. Curious how much is that place you are in a week?
Teppo. What lens did you use to shoot this video 16-35 f4 or 16-35 2.8. If you purchase a camera today, would you recommend the sony fx3 or the canon r6 mark ii for doc/vlog content or any other suggestions? I also like to take pictures on occasion. Also, what lens did you use for this video? Thanks, great content
Hey man, great video! I have so many questions about remote working in a place like that, but I don't want to clog up the comment section like a backed-up toilet. But seriously, do you think that working in such a beautiful place would ruin the experience over time? Like, eventually the stressors of everyday life and work would hit you and potentially you start seeing the stunning scenery as just 'meh'? And another thing, do you plan on staying there forever or just for a few months at a time like? Keep up the awesome content, and don't forget to take breaks to appreciate the view!
@@TeppoHaapoja Sorry if I gave you the wrong impression. I live in the Netherlands and our daylight is just a little bit longer than yours. Same grey skies and cold until now. Still, we travel when the sun shines. Filming and photographing on those days fills our memories and experiences. Bali is nice and very cheap if you know your way around. Yes, diesel is expensive here, but we do not let that influence our days on the Wadden islands. You should check it out one day. The journey always begins on a boat with a view on the Wadden sea, sand plates, seals and the islands. Did you know there are 63 different islands?
@@TeppoHaapoja If you manage to get a visa, you’re welcome! My 5yo loves babies, she’d be super happy to play with your son while we greet you guys with a few great bottles of wine. 😃
Also my friend, don't judge France by Paris. Parisians are much more rude and impatient in general especially with foreigners. Once you get outside of Paris, the French are very warm and welcoming people.
You guys decide, YAY OR NAY for moving to Bali!?
Maybe one day once the kids are off to college. If I was you I’d take advantage of opportunities like this before the little one gets into school.
Yay for sure!
I've been really wanting to. I want to talk to Tim! Tim if you see this, say hi :D

Oh thats crazy! Glad to hear you enjoyed it.
I have no idea how you can be so soft and pudgy, I wouldn't never let myself get like that so long as I can help it

Headed to Bali and Phuket for 3 weeks in August and then oddly I have a 21hr layover in Helsinki on the way back home to Texas.

Bali seems like a dope place to get B-roll as well. Fantastic trip! Digital Nomad traveling is looking more appealing every day!
For sure! Always fun to film in different locations

Oh, man! Now you’ve got me falling down an AirBnB rabbit hole looking for places to remote work from 😂 Thanks for the inspiration , Teppo!
Hahhahahahaa amazing!
So cool bali... Nice trip. Let me know when coming to Panama. You can touch 2 ocean here.... :)
love the video, enjoy bali teppo. Love from Java indonesia
Love Bali for the occasional workation. But the traffic got way too bad over recent years for long stays unfortunately.

Great video! Bali rocks! But... the link to Tim's channel doesn't work...
Bali does rock! And so strange its not working
Just curious, how is the ZV-E1 holding up in the warm/humid climate? Any overheating problems? Nice Vlog as always:)

@@TeppoHaapoja Absolutely!
Awesome video, Teppo - Please check the audio levels before finalizing it. You almost blew my ears off with that intro song. 😂
😂😂😂
Come try Cape Town, South Africa :)
Love Cape Town, although it doesn't always feel safe. Especially with expensive camera gear.
Great video! How does the zv-e1 handle the climate in Bali? Isn't it overheating? I am taking the Lumix GH6 with me this time.
I ended up taking the Sony A7SIII just to be safe!

Lol this time of the year sucks in Finland 😂 Helsinki is getting temperatures below zero this week at night. Summer where you at?
Feel ya! I rode my bike to the office this morning and it was cold

This time A7SIII
I want to move to Bali now
HA your awesome Cristian!
Sounds better than Honolulu, where I live. What was your travel cost? I have been planning on Bali trip too , that and Finland 🤔. 🌴🌴Aloha
Hard to say on budget, depends what type of trip you want to do
🎉 nice love the video
Thanks man 🙌
Yeah, I think you should live there. Just get a sauna installed in your place so you have a little bit of Finland with you
hahaha agreed
As Indonesian, yes Bali please. But, If you ride motorcycle, always use helmet in main road.

No, it´s Medellin Colombia
HA in what way?
what about not speaking the local language? How much of a handicap is that?
You can get by with english, plus having some local friends who can help translate would help
