If you aim straight forward instead of looking up it locks on with a bit distance most of the time he doesn’t come to the edge so you’re less likely to get hit.

There's another spot as well, near the front right, you're actually under the stage and you don't die at all. You do have to be careful of the green attack you mentioned, but there are two areas you can maneuver back and forth from, unlike this spot.
Wish u had a way to be a little more specific on that spot at the right front…. Edit: I found it previously, it must be the same spot and he absolutely can kill you down there when he goes Donkey Kong 😄

@@VanityBittyit can still hurt you as his damage can go below terrain, you have to move around even down there
