If you do certain recipes a lot where you need all the attachments.. or like recipes that need a long mix with stuff added.. then maybe. But it takes up a LOT of space, and you need muscles to move it. my daughter loves Costco for her family.. But I just dont need that much food. Krustees is GREAT! But such a large box??

Maple syrup is graded by color and clarity. Amber means medium sugar. It’s actually the standard. It gets much darker to almost black which means a ton of sugar which is better for cooking. It’s barely colored then it’s light on the sugar and is more for the maple candy that’s around. Amber has a middle ground for sugar and you can use it for pretty much anything you want.

You get it served on a piece of waxed paper you fold the paper over the crust pop open your soda, fold your slice pick it up pull the wax paper down take a bite pick up your soda and tell your story walking. If you eat pizza with a knife and fork in NYC you might as well wear a siren light on your head. Unless it's a Chicago deep dish not a slice I'd Sicilian.

When you eventually get a Kitchen-Aid stand mixer, spend the extra money and get a Pro model with a bowl lift and not a tilt head. The pro model will have more metal and less plastic in the motor and gears and will have a much longer life span. Also the tilt head has a lot of problems with the locking mechanism loosening and wearing out over time causing it to bounce up and down when trying to knead doughs or thick batters. It also leads to the whole mixer “walking” across the counter from the vibration. The bowl lift is much stronger and more stable

I promise you can just go up to the counter WITHOUT waiting in any line and ask for silverware (plastic ware) and they will be happy to give it to you!! Or another Brit couple I watch - she doesn't like tomatoes...she gets a salad and says...oh they always put tomatoes...you can say I would like this salad - no tomatoes! That is not a problem.... Mr. H - I would certainly ask if they can get orders of Brisket - since it's the same store - I would think it may be possible! It may depend on where the beef comes from ie: local (English cows)...or if they get batches shipped...but yes, ask for sure! I guess I truly am spoiled by our customer service and onvenience..... Yes, you certainly can ask the butcher department for brisket and other deals. at least at sams club, you can.
Your channel is genuinely special as there is a true honesty that rings out when watching. The inclusion of your daughter also makes this special. What a tremendous album of memories these videos will provide for not only her as she ages but for you two as well. I hope your next trips across the pond bring you to the wonderful North East. From Philly to Boston and all in between. So much good food in that region for you all to experience.

Ghirardelli is the one chocolate I recommend, can’t tell you the amount of times Brits have argued insisting every American chocolate is the same and refuse to try Ghirardelli. So if you can, actually try it, I doubt you’ll be disappointed.

I have a Instant Pot pressure cooker and I love it. I make chicken stew and I'll put a 5 or 6 pound chicken in the Instant Pot, with a cup of chicken broth. The cooker has a grate you can set in the bottom, it holds the chicken off the bottom so it won't burn. I give it 35 minutes and let the pressure ease off for 15 minutes. When I pull the chicken out, on the little grate, and dump it on a big pan, it's so tender it just collapses. And I can easily debone the meat.

You're totally right, the hot food at Costco is a really good bargain for your money, it's a big portion, cheaply priced, and is pretty much always good and fresh, the rotisserie chickens are really good too.

I thought it was a misprint but I was game. I ordered it and less than a week later the big brown truck left a box at my door. It was my Amazon order, 2 1 Liter bottles of Knorr's. I couldn't believe it, at that time they were selling a 2 pack of 8.45 ounce bottles for $12.88. I just checked and those 2 1 Liter bottles are at $16.20, still a amazing price.

No bluebell in Costco. We however get a lot of frozen novelties for some reason. Stuff like rocket pops, bites, ices, that sorta thing. Brisket is hard to track down because it has to be shipped out immediately and it always goes to restaurants. I suggest finding a reliable live animal butcher or go to a restaurant supply place. That’s how I had to find a good organic chicken supplier. They also do whole mutton and whole cattle. They don’t do pigs though as they are halal which is fine as I have a different supplier for that. Having restaurant connections really helps as I just know people in the Orlando area that supply the right things. Fish really isn’t a problem especially in Florida as Lombardi’s specializes in seafood and sell at cost. Or simply go direct to the fish processor to make a deal or even go to the fishing boat as fishermen are happy to make deals with chefs and restaurants. Veggies aren’t a problem either as it’s a pretty low price anyway. I grow a lot of herbs and have a supplier for spices. It’s basically lower costs if you do it right. I also grow veggies just for my own use like eggplants and tomatoes just because.

Get the KithenAid. For the kind of upmarket brands, there's none better and in that range, it's well-priced. The attachments go on forever and eeso long as you get the Pro series rather than Artisan, it has metal gears and will last forever.
Love Krusteaz products. The pancake mix is excellent. That's a great price on semi-sweet chips. And they will make the "real" toll house cookie.

FYI Kirkland brand of Costco is named after the city it started in Kirkland, Washington which is a suburb of Seattle that I live near. Costco has the cheapest gas prices unless you are near a Native American reservation. Here you can have Costco delivered to your home. My aunt had a Costco business card and would be allowed in before the store hours would open, given free coffee etc. This was at the business stores only. BTW you can always put in a request for a product like we do here in the states for the brisket or ask one of the butchers if they are able to obtain it. Glad you enjoyed another business from the Seattle area!

Costco is awesome and other than some specific things for the UK it is very similar.
You can ask them for onions and maybe relish, idk about the UK, where u pick up the food and they give you some in a cup for your hot dog. I always got either pizza or the hot dog when I went.
If you go, at least in the US, during the day you can have a whole meal in samples.

Those semi-sweet chocolate chips won't be bad but, they will not be as tasty as milk chocolate.
