That first villa goal has to be one of the most disgraceful refeering decisions ive ever seen. Mike riley had a shocker in this game The clearlest and most blatent handball you will ever see 3:36
who would've thought that just ten years or so after this a villa player would be saying "i want to leave villa for a bigger club" and that club was Everton. Idrissa Gueye was that man. Typically, we lost money on the deal.
I don’t understand why this game is used as the reason why Kroldrup was sold so quickly at Everton. Not sure he was a fault for those goals. Neville and Yobo much more so.
Mate i think Kroldrup wasent given a proper chance to prove himself at everton and we defo sold him way too quick he played one game for us and then he left just amazing really
I came to see this game exactly to check for myself exactly how disastrous was Kroldrup’s performance and I fully agree with you. He looked definitely shaky, especially against Baros’ speed (when he still had plenty) but you could say that about almost every Everton player bar the poor Martyn. Phil Neville in particular was abysmal. Was completely at fault on the third goal and shares the blame with Yobo for the fourth. On all the four goals, Kroldrup’s sole mistake was believing the referee was not a blind moron who missed the grossest handball since Maradona. Poor Kroldrup was clearly scapegoated here.
Disappointing to see a Villa player cheat for the first goal. How I wish he had stopped the game and told the referee . . I handled that. But this is football. I would love my team to rise above this. UTV!
@@sukhdevr3489 its increable really that he only played one premier league game for everton and then was sold a month later. I think Kroldrup wasnet at all given a proper chance to prove himself at everton.
Perfect control from baros for the first goal !

Gana is one of the best CDMs in the world. Top 3 defo.
@A P Not his fault you had a terrible team. In decent teams he is brilliant.

@@colinrowlandson3588 was canny for Villa but O'Neil didn't fancy him and swapped him to Lyon for John Carew and he became a club icon

@@Rose_19911 Strange you should say that. LOL> UTMV.
