That was truly impressive. I beat the game not a long time ago, but now I am really struggling on the Ultimate Challenges. If those are very difficult normally, I cant even imagine how brutal would be to attempt do them damageless.

@@ivanzoneBR24 I haven't gotten that far in the DLC yet, but it looks pretty good. The team you play as has cool weapons/abilities and there's a new skill tree which looks fun. I got the golden edition of the game when it was on sale for $20 which came with the DLC and base game. The game seems to almost always be on sale on the eshop so if the DLC is on a good sale then I'd recommend it considering you like the base game.

Hey man, found your vids through this challenge series a couple days ago, thought it was pretty entertaining and wanted to help so I started fiddling around with world one midboss to see what I could do. After mondo hours I found a combo that lets you get passed first turn without taking damage. You send Luigi and peach rabbids to kill the ziggies on both ends, then hide them behind the pipe, as for Mario you move him on the third space behind the wall he spawns behind, activate his hero's sight, then need to get him to use his crit to bounce the boss away(bounce affect giving weapon required to equip for Mario). I just got this and was really surprised it worked so I ran over here to spam this essay here, I haven't tested how to do the next moves yet, and it's an extreme pain to do because the 10% bounce rng, but I'll keep experimenting and letcha know if I come up with anything, great content, keep up the good work!
Ok quick update, turns out when you kill both ziggies with this strat, the boss weirdly changes tactic and stays out of hero's sight, hitting Mario, currently trying to find a workaround by either changing Mario's position forward one or keeping one of the ziggies alive somehow

I know the pain of waiting for the 10% critical to work; I spent so many attempts just to see how it affected the midboss in one situation. I'm not sure if beating him without taking any damage is possible, but I feel like getting hit once might be.
Hey no problem, appreciate the reply, took awhile to make a reply myself cuz I was trying to get info to come back with, ended up taking the entire heckin day, but I got info, it might actually be possible damageless! Fair warning though, it requires an ungodly amount of rng, lemme break it down. First, Mario team jumps off rabbid peach and land 3 cells up from the pipe, landing behind a wall. Then rabbid peach and Luigi crit both ziggies and hide behind the pipe, killing them. Then while midboss is coming towards Mario he uses his hero's sight to knock back midboss, making him unable to hit. Then on next turn he's bounced into just the right spot where peach can hit him with honey from behind the pipe, which should render him soft locked until you don't land a honey shot, which hopefully his health will be low enough to bum rush him from there. Haven't gotten passed second turn yet due to rng, but I'll let ya know how it turns out when I get a solid run

Yeah, I won't count going back to a fight and beating it damageless with better equipment than was possible at the time since that would defeat the purpose of the challenge in my opinion. It is really useful for quickly farming money though so you can keep your team's weapons as powerful as possible.

Okay so, the texture bug after chapter 6 is consistent. It happened to you, it happened to me, and it’s happened to other playthroughs I’ve watched. Wtf?
I think I told someone that I know I should put background music but would probably be too lazy to do it. On the bright side, I successfully predicted the future :). But I always put background music in videos now. Took me a while to actually get into the habit of doing it.
Was it me that told you that when enemy ears doesn’t pop up Immediately they will then move the turn they do come out of the ground. Or was that another guy I told that?
I know I am VERY late to the party, but that one comment at 14:13 where Mario takes no damage from being pushed is the exact same with burn, the unit that gets hit by the effect takes damage, but any poor soul who gets hit by the moving unit don’t take damage

Peek a boos are the worst, cover won’t work it’s worse than supporters.
Yeah, not being able to use Hero Sight on them makes them so much worse
I learned that crowd control is a useful strategy in some battles like mid bosses, defeat all smaller enemies before going after the bosses.
