@@OriginalGameteer it kinda makes sense that there are only 2 though. The costumes are replacing the sparks slots, and since there are only 2 spark slots, adding more slots to add more costumes would have taken a lot more time and resources towards a character exclusive to a single dlc campaign.

I think the funniest/most tragic aspect about Rayman and the Rabbids is that Rayman has ALWAYS been more popular and sold more copies (heck, I think the best selling Rabbids games has Rayman in the title front and center lol). Ubisoft literally just replaced Rayman with the Rabbids because they felt like it 😑

As a big Fan of Rayman i was very excited when this DLC was first announced. And excited further when we heard of various gameplay mechanics for Rayman himself. And then During my entire playthrough of the DLC i was constantly joyous whenever i spotted a unique reference. It's easily my favourite of the DLC's for either of the mario + rabbids games. I hope that Ubisoft will allow this Team to make a new Rayman game in the future. I reckon they can pull it off well.

That phantom diss track was so harsh, and kinda ironic since it’s basically coming from ubisoft who have pretty much forced Rayman away from the spotlight by not including him in anymore games or crossovers until now 😂😂
Seeing this means they do have the potential to make a new 3D Rayman game if they wanted to. It's just a matter of when. I enjoyed the hell out of this DLC.

Seeing phantom return in the dlc was the best part for me.i was addicted to singing his songs during quarantine . Then once the dlc was released [I got the physical gold pass] I wanted to sing the new songs. And I mastered them in one day. I scare me sister with my good singing skills and now I get to watch the king of dk play it
The Vortex and Rocket costumes come from Rayman 3: Hoodlum Havoc. In fact those use changed versions of those that are in that game. The former suit is based on a early concept art while the latter has a rocket gun instead of having Rayman turn his hand into an actual rocket.
Choc you gotta give the Rayman games a try. They are some pretty fun platformers and I think you'd get a kick out of them. The only thing is though there isn't really any place to play the old ones Rayman 1,2, and 3 so you'd have to dig around for alternatives on playing them. The best you could do however is play Rayman Origins & Legends (both are Multiplayer as well, Local though.)

Rayman 3 Hoodlum Havoc was always my favourite Rayman game and I always loved the first Rayman Raving Rabbids despite it's flaws so this DLC combining the two had me overjoyed. Not to mention adding one of the best parts of Kingdom Battle, this DLC was almost perfect.

After seeing how he is in captain laser hawk I can't help but feel like he seems kinda depressed lol idk but I'm happy to see good ol Rayman again that's for sure
Glad he came back even tho I’m not the biggest fan of him. Love his gameplay and animations, felt it was easy cause of how powerful he is. The final battle with phantom is incredible. They definitely know and are aware how much people miss him with the references and the song by phantom. Ending is so wholesome too, love this game. ❤
With the release of Captain Lazerhawk on Netflix, Rayman has enjoyed another surge of popularity, this time as a TV show host/cokehead/vigilante. I'm legitimately not making this up, in Captain Laserhawk Rayman says the fuck word and does cocaine and murder with guns.
I love how game companies are coming together and being friendly, with Smash playing no small part in helping. I used to say that this is the closest we will ever get to a Rayman and Mario crossover, but seeing how Nintendo let Rayman wear a Mario hat and Mario hold a Rayman hoodie, I don't think this will be the last time Mario and Rayman will come together...

The costumes are combat fatigues from Rayman 3, albeit slightly redesigned to look more distinct. It’s pretty cool cause you’d think Rayman 2 would get all the attention for his big comeback.
Still bloody kills me that THIS is the first proper Rayman 3D content/game we're getting in the past 20 years. Yeah. Rayman Hoodlum Havoc was in 2003. Since then, Ubisoft has been more focused on making freaking Assassin's Creed games to the point where we're easily at 15+ of them by now.

The Rabbids were originally created for the Rayman series, they were in the trailers for Rayman 4, they were going to be enemies where lots of waves of them would come with giant mechas and Rayman would have to defeat them, but since we never got Rayman 4, it's one of the things some Rayman fans awaits, they later reused tha idea with Rayman Raving Rabbids Rayman was the "protagonist" of the 3 first games of the Rayman Raving Rabbids series, with Rayman and the Rabbids being enemies, and Rayman stopping their plans, but slowly got less and less screen time, in the third party game even appearing only in the cutscenes, and then in the 4th game... the Rabbids got so much more popular than him that he was no longer Ubisoft's "mascot" and instead that role was given to the Rabbids, and after that, Rayman did not appeared in the (now Rabbids) series anymore, and the name changed from "Rayman Raving Rabbids" to "Rabbids", with new subtitles for each game of course, just like the 3 "Rayman Raving Rabbids" has different subtitles, and Rayman only kept appearing on his own games (Rayman Origins, Rayman Legends, and his mobile games), until the series was truly dead and Ubisoft forgot him for real, since Legends released in 2013, that's 10 years ago, and the mobile games, althought really good and really similar to Legends, were not a new mainline game... Until this year, with this DLC, and the adult series from Netflix called "Captain Laserhawk", still 2 minor things, on the DLC the Rabbids even make fun of him for being forgotten and replaced by them, and in the series being a guy who drinks, do drugs, and gets mad for being a victim of alien racism, but still no new mainline game yet, sadly

Rayman legends is unironically one of the best games I've ever played

The Rabbids were originally created for the Rayman series, they were in the trailers for Rayman 4, they were going to be enemies where lots of waves of them would come with giant mechas and Rayman would have to defeat them, but since we never got Rayman 4, it's one of the things some Rayman fans awaits, they later reused tha idea with Rayman Raving Rabbids
Rayman was the "protagonist" of the 3 first games of the Rayman Raving Rabbids series, with Rayman and the Rabbids being enemies, and Rayman stopping their plans, but slowly got less and less screen time, in the third party game even appearing only in the cutscenes, and then in the 4th game... the Rabbids got so much more popular than him that he was no longer Ubisoft's "mascot" and instead that role was given to the Rabbids, and after that, Rayman did not appeared in the (now Rabbids) series anymore, and the name changed from "Rayman Raving Rabbids" to "Rabbids", with new subtitles for each game of course, just like the 3 "Rayman Raving Rabbids" has different subtitles, and Rayman only kept appearing on his own games (Rayman Origins, Rayman Legends, and his mobile games), until the series was truly dead and Ubisoft forgot him for real, since Legends released in 2013, that's 10 years ago, and the mobile games, althought really good and really similar to Legends, were not a new mainline game...
Until this year, with this DLC, and the adult series from Netflix called "Captain Laserhawk", still 2 minor things, on the DLC the Rabbids even make fun of him for being forgotten and replaced by them, and in the series being a guy who drinks, do drugs, and gets mad for being a victim of alien racism, but still no new mainline game yet, sadly
