Problem: bosses who attack so fast you're almost guaranteed to get hit hard Solution: hit 'em so hard they're stunned for longer than it takes to swing a second time.
the fact that someone has beat the lighthouse hitless with a survival setup on 5bsc on like the first day it came out while i still cant beat the third fight phase with a brutality setup on no bsc scares me
This is straight up incredible, you made it look easy when it really isn't. Also got to the lighthouse in 30 minutes, I like taking my time and get there in 45 minimum lol
Is there ,like some kind of strat to deal with them, this looks like that kind of fight where you just have to deal with all 3 doing their thing randomly when they want. Also during the chase phase, how do you get save up, they do so many things randomly and if your tower layout is bad you may get stuck while the last one teleports on you and instantly starts attacking while the others do things too. Also, just asking how does the save exploid work and does it work on PC too?
Rush upwards during chase sequences and wait for them to come to you during arena sequences. Save exploits involve copying your save and reloading the same point over and over again, but I wouldn’t recommend it since it does stunt your ability to improve at the game (there’s no training room for Lighthouse so it’s a bit more acceptable at least). It’s your game at the end of the day though
@@JuhoLankila You have to quickly close the game after dying, and when you start the game again, you’re going to be able to continue. It’s loaded back to either the beginning of a biome/boss, or you can go to the main menu in a run and back into the run and it’s saved at that point if you die.

@@dodgeseriously2090 Yep, it’s a little tricky but you want to let go of the attack button after you’ve rolled, then you can store the hit (fully charged or not) and pop it out instantly on your next hit, though you don’t have much time. You also have to wait until it shows the ring around your character to cancel, otherwise the hit won’t be stored. It’s complicated but helps, used a lot in the flawless toothpick fight against scarecrow

I constantly forget that weapons in this game remember where you left off in their combos for a certain window. This is such an interesting application of that mechanic.
Dude I died 2 times on 1 boss cell here... And you managed to no hit with some of the slowest weapons in the game in day 1. ( I got to 5BC, altough Face Flask kinda carried my ass, not anymore lmao )
@@ballsfish2 learn the bosses moves, dont rush the boss and take it slow, pick up every single scroll you can find, and only upgrade the scrolls that matches the weapon color (brutality, survival, tactics)

Crusher slows down enemies in its area and stuns them for a bit upon attacking and Toothpick stuns for up to 4 seconds with each hit so they help with Heart of Ice, though the real reason is that I forgot to reset my mutations :p
I give up with this level. Hardest most rage inducing thing I've ever seen in my life, and I lived through the 80s with obnoxious shit like TMNT for the NES.

Yeah, slow weapons make the game extra hard because most mobs only give like 0.5s or less openings

I imagine you fighting the queen with this setup. Her fight is way more frenetic and i think survival builds are going to struggle against her.
Crusher does really well against her and she can be stunned/frozen/slowed for a bit

Queen is quite vulnerable to root and there are quite a few of those available for survival builds, aside from Crusher being all-around great.
