I’ve been using melodyne mostly but I’m about to try Auto-Tune. Melodyne has been so stupid lately with randomly deleting my audio so I have to redo them and other problems
Yes definitely try autotune. It’s really a great plugin. Both are great in their own ways
Amazing, Melodyne definitely feels way more smooth and natural, autotune works very great too, but the difference it's clear
Exactly! Thanks for watching 👍🏻
The artifacts are from the recording
Try again
Melodyne has more artifacts than Auto-Tune tho
melodynes graph is not as intuitive though, you can dial in a key in autotune way easier vs endlessly tweaking melodynes. i wish there was a stripped down version that could select a key and you just let the plugin do the work
Exactly! I agree
I want to chime in on this. The problem with auto-tune is that there are people who are very pitchy. This is not because they are bad singers, and could be for a multitude of reasons. I seen plenty of times where Auto-Tune tunes notes incorectly. For certain vocalist, they need manual tuning
hahahah. the artifacts are on THE TRACK not auto tune
I agree with @PerfectVocalsAcademy. To add,, after using Autotune for years, I tried Melodyne and rarely touch Autotune now. Melodyne is better in most cases, in my opinion.
For sure, there’s certain vocals that I prefer autotune in graphic mode but more often I choose melodyne
Yeah Melody e is cool … I cannot find nowhere how to play selected blobs only, I need to clean a drum wav to get a midi
With the selector tool, click and hold blob.
@@PerfectVocalsAcademy Thanks, arrowing also can go to next/previous but what I need is select a bunch of blobs and hear just that that to get context
Hello. Thanks for the video. Maybe this will be the most stupid question. But. How do I playback inside the graph mode? If I hit the spacebar will
Always call to the daw. In melodyne you can doble click from the point you want. But here there is no way to do that. Thanks in advance.
This guy is the slowest talker in the world
Fast talking drives me nuts. Very annoying to listen to in my opinion. Congrats you are the first to say this so your opinion must be pretty unpopular 👍🏻
you are killing the track tuning every note…
I knew the uploader had no clue what they were talking about the moment they said digital artifacts. Artifacts, in audio, can only come from the source signal. Digital artifacts only exist in audio in regards to data loss on compression. There is no such thing as a midi artifact or a software artifact in audio outside of data compression.
The "more surgical" method is available on both plug ins. you simply are no good at using Auto tune. Melodyne is a pain in the ass. That's hardly no pros use it. Auto tune has way more detailed control. without bring the audio file into a 3rd party envireoment
Lol, I did that in autotune to demonstrate how artifacts can happen. I promise you, I am a master at using autotune in graph mode and I actually prefer it for most vocalists.
