I always took this song, in context of the album, to explain that either the ‘ruiner’ is a woman, or the protagonist is a woman and NIN is just narrating it.
It sounds like it's about drugs too-at least I think it does-A lot of the songs from back then do-in my opinion

That’s really interesting, I always imagined the story of downward spiral as alternating between the perspective of a man and this kind of darkness that’s taking over.

Overall he is trying to get sexual escape out of this woman. But sadly at this stage of his insanity it doesn't aid him in any way. Where you have line ''Now i know the depths i reach are limitless''

the line you reference is the second half of the song, while the get it is the first half - it's not a reference to that, since it hasn't even came up yet, and he didn't set up the 'she betrayed me but i still want to fuck' parts.
he also pretty clearly says 'it', not in. the get could be kinda close to give, i guess, but the it is very clearly not in.

Everytime I listen to this song-whether in live concert videos or like this I specifically listen hard to hear what he is saying at that part that sounds to me like 'Give It or Give In but in this lyric video it says 'Get It-I am not any authority to say what it is or isn't but in my opinion it very much sounds like he Definitely says the word 'Give not Get & I believe it's 'Give It or 'Give In & in some of the concert videos you can hear it even more clearly although he always says it in a whisper like tone & it makes sense to me but 'Get It doesn't make much sense to me & definitely does not sound like what he says-I noticed another part too but I'm not going to get into all that-Thanks for making the video & just had to add my 2 cents about That particular line-Great Song & I just became a fan recently-So mad I missed out on this growing up but maybe it's also that I can relate to a lot of his songs now too

I honestly don’t recall any Biblical inspirations of Spiral, but you got it right. This song heavily reference to a prostitute that is also dubbed as lizard lot (hence the title).

This reminds me of porn stars and their moral characters. I love how Trent plays devils advocate, i.e. reverses the narrative by switching between the usage of second and first person pronouns to illustrate the character of profligacy. In my estimation, pornography is largely a cultural warfare tool used by an organized group of mystics of the Old World Order meant to demoralize western society and this song is a great illustration of the true character of its actors.
