    Nobody else Ive ever seen hangs for that split second like him. Its crazy. But not only was he a phenomenal athlete, he was so fundamentally sound. But nobody will make everything look as pretty as MJ. He can just palm the ball and it looks cool. His style is unmatched by anyone. Greatest ever hands down.

      Its illusion but still cool to see. His release is what causes the illusion. His release is later than usual which creates the visual effect that he's hanging in the air before the shot attempt.

    At a time when many plays and tricks weren't even invented yet until he showed up, at a time when the game was alot more agressive. At a time where the game had many giant players in it. At a time when he had to do it all himself and show the world how the game can be played. He is the reason many players got their game on. He is the man that brought the game a new international fame. Many games he even held back simply because when he played nobody even came close to him. He is the GOAT and nobody will change that.

      Fool. Jordan's fundamental is very strong that he wouldn't have any problem shooting the threes. Just look at his shooting form. His dedication and focus would have made him a good 3 point shooter in this era.

    • @chickhearn4ever779
      @chickhearn4ever779 4 роки тому +18

      @LesterChesterSylvester TheMolester Man, wnba players can shoot 3's. Junior high players can shoot 3s. The 3 point shot is not a difficult shot ..Anyone with a touch and decent form can shoot it if you put in the work. What Jordan did with the ball is what people admired...Nobody admired someone who parked at the 3 point line and jacked up shots..In my era, it meant you were soft and did not have the mental toughness to take it to the rack. If Jordan wanted to be a good 3 point shooter, he would have been the best of 3 point shooters. If someone with Lebron's ugly stiff form can learn to shoot them, Jordan's technique is 300% better..You really do not understand the game.

    • @shadowwarrior2030
      @shadowwarrior2030 4 роки тому +19

      You can't compare Jordan with any player. There are many players that are athletic too but can't play as good as him. There are many players that jumps as high or even higher but never as good as him either. Jordan's unmatched competitiveness and desire is the one thing that separated him from the rest. Jordan would have become a good 3 point shooter had he put his heart and mind into it. The reason you have elite shooters like Curry, Klay and others is because they put extra effort in that particular aspect of their game.
      Shooting is the easiest to improve, this has been proven time and again.
      You can see this in how Kawhi and even Lonzo recently, improved over the years.

    You did a good job digging up some hard to find footage. Some of the clips I had never seen. Isn't it something, when we all, (now at older ages) watch this and then get a fresh realization that not only have we always known he's the best ever....but that if you watch his moves/dunks/cuts etc slowly.....not even the most skilled players in today's NBA game are even anywhere in the universe of being as good a MJ. Seriously....watch what fans and announcers now think is amazing with players and then go watch MJ film and realize he jumped MUCH further out away from the basket than anyone. He cut through defences by jumping first and slicing between them with ZERO fear! Add his shot accuracy. His insane vertical leap and his hellbent attitude to win at all cost and beat you to a pulp doing it....and it's the perfect recipe to clone the perfect player to ever play the game! MJ is not human. He is god....and GOAT!! 🐐

    It's like taking a player from today and bringing him all the way back then that's how far ahead of his time he was! The moves, the swag it was just like he was from a different planet 😂😂😂 Jordan will forever be the G.O.A.T.

    so glad that I'm old enough (48yrs.) to see him rise out the ashes from his college years all the way to the stratosphere . . . I just wish Len Bias was right there with him, RIP Len Bias. You slightly younger folks need to do your research about Len.

    Jordan had swag and finesse! He floated when he jumped. In a good way “He was a driven lunatic”. Rumor was that he was the first in practice and last to leave, would shoot a thousand jump shots every practice.

    I love this video! But it only shows MJ driving to the basket. There's so many times he made these incredible shots from outside.
    Case in point, the shot against the Jazz. Where he stood in pose as the shot left his hang & swished.
    I wish there was much more emphasis on other equally amazing parts of his game, apart from dunks and drives to the basket.
