The greatest athelete of the 20th century. Im so grateful to have seen his whole career. The beatings and molding from the piston losses. To the rugged knicks, heat, and pacers. #1 in my opinion is the greatest basketball move ever. MJ is, was, and still is the best.
Yeah those Pistons and Knicks made him tougher than ever. To me he took that toughness from the Pistons though, and couldn't be stopped from winning after that. He already was tough, but after the Pistons it was championship after championship and no team in that era could deny him.
20th century? Try ever. 6’6 with a 47-48 inch vertical. Meaning the bottom of his foot is 4 feet in the damn air at his peak jump. And the way he could twist and still score around anybody; there’s never been another athlete like him. If he didn’t dunk over top of you, he’d still twist around you and score anyway. Still dunking on 7’7 tallest player to ever play Gheorge Muresan at 34/35 years old. Dunked on the other 7’7 tallest player to ever play Manute Bol 4 or 5 separate times in his prime. He was insane. He literally dunked on every great shot blocker there has ever been other than Wilt & Russell because they played 25-30 years before he was drafted. But he would’ve posterized them both too. Multiple times each. If he can posterize both 7’7 tallest players ever he’d have no problem posterizing 7’2 Wilt Chamberlain. Yeah he was the most athletic 7-foot+ player ever; but Jordan was the greatest athlete period. He dunked on Shaq. Dunked on everybody physical. If he got knocked down he’d just go at em again til he posterized them. Every time. Like when Shaq “touched him up” then he proceeded to drop 64 points on his head. His 2nd highest career game and his last 60-point performance. He never did go for 60 after he turned 30. He was 29 when he dropped 64 in Shaq in 92/93, Shaq’s rookie year. But he still went for 50+ all the time in his 30’s. In the 93 finals just after turning 30 a couple months prior, he put up the all-time record for most points in the finals with 55. He averaged 41 points a game that series. He was pissed off that they stole the MVP from him and gave it to Barkley when he put up better numbers than his last 2 MVP-winning seasons both. Won his 7th straight scoring title with 32 and a half points a game and led the league in steals for the third time too. Best player on both sides of the ball and they give it to Barkley. That was just stupid. He should’ve had 6 MVP’s. Not 5…. But either way; he was the greatest player, and the greatest athlete, to ever step foot on the hardwood. Period.
That dunk on ewing and the knicks is simply GOOSEBUMPS!! One of the best moves you will ever witness in basketbal history. MJ had that mentality. Just him.
MJ put a lot of big men in body bags! It's great to see the highlights but there is nothing like actually seeing him do this in action. He was merciless!
I think that it's overlooked mostly by people who didn't see him play, IMO. People who actually watched him know that he would bring the ruckus to true C's and anyone else. And what's also interesting is that centers were actually trying to block his dunks. These are 7-footers doing their best to stop him and he didn't care at all. Closest thing today is Westbrook. That guy attacks the rim like he's angry.

number #2 was on par with #13
He knows how to elivate his body in the air such a unbeleivable move... great player indeed
MJ couldda stuck his elbow in the rim on the Ewing Dunk. He seemed to float by people not just jump to dunk.
For all does who think LB and KB and WCh are the goats only because they are having similar scores in paper. Its not about score! IT IS HOW YOU SCORE!
By the way, thank you so much for making such vid with almost never seen before footage 👌🏻
This dude has retired from the NBA about 20 years now and his highlights are still getting half a million plus views
What does that say to you people who even debate how great he was
I haven't watched the video yet...number 1 is Knicks, baseline, Ewing. Am I right?
How'd you know??
It's the most spectacular move (so called the "Move") in NBA's history. That's how he knows.
orvcharl1 of course
It wasn't childish, impetuous, insecure arrogance. No! It was passion, consistency, belief! Basketball zealotry! Grown man shit and we loved it. Mike was sincere!
This man was something else
The goat 🐐
He wasn't called Air Jordan for nothing, Living Legend.
Michael Jordan is the 👑 in history March 16th 2019 time it's 11:22 am
where is the third dunk on that Jazz game Malone is talking about? there is a third dunk after the dunk on Mel Turpin. The guy on the sideline answered michael it wasn't enough, so he dunked on two jazz guys, i think it was over the PF and the C.
My bad it was mark eaton

I wanna thank Jordan. I now know a lot of other players because of him. Poor Ewing.
He consistently executes what Morant always tries to do. He seems to be calculating, split second, exactly how high he needs to jump to be just a little higher than the other guy, making the body adjustments in midair, like it’s in slow motion.
Didn't dunk on smaller guys just to flex and mean mug. What a concept...
Watch the fan in the stands at 6:26 .. he had enough 😂😂😂
"I'm out."
did you guys notice that in all of these dunks they were all contested...nowadays when some1 drives to the net people just move out the way...
Ewing still wakes up in the middle of the night screaming "mommy please make the bad ass man go away"
only MJ can snake in between air defender and make an AND1. GOAT
lebron can do this but only on his dreams
Manuel Ang Jr lol!
Manuel Ang Jr dunks weak as hell
not to mention his age. He's too old now and he'll never get 6 rings
LeBron has done dunks like this plenty of times..... While he was playing 2K lol
Darryl Bowser agree he did. but hes using mj in 2k. lol
some people don't even have a 1 "in yo face dunk" but 25 worth making a list out of godamn
d Con believe or not he has more !! I can think 💭 of a few like he dunked on Barkley and knocked him down 🤣😂 on shit everybody armon Gilliam,,,
@@mrsilkysmoothd hes, but i dnt know why is not included here
I watched almost all of the dunks mj did . i miss that now
That dunk against Golden State is so underrated, I rarely see it so I was happy it's on the list
Poetry in motion. Even if u wasn't a fan you still said DAMN THAT BOY BAD!😂😂😂
The best ball player to ever lace up sneakers. 🐐
These were the days players jumped to block the dunk instead of just sitting there with their arms in air like they do today.
MJ ♾️🐐.
Incredible
Simply the best.. game over
Jordan didn't dunk on people, he dunked through people.
No way Lebron is that swift!!
👍
Jordan was quick as hell, you couldn't batt your eyes.
That last clip is ALL THE MONEY!!!
