Honestly, I think the interviewer was really well spoken. Frost is just a very, very intellectual guy, and he handled the interview like he normally would, he makes sure everything he says means something. Fantastic human being.
Joakim Broden of Swedish band "SABATON" is the same way as is the rest of sabaton I find that band's from European countries put more into there interviews then most this interview reminded Me of one done By Eicca & Prettu from Apocalyptica from Finland great band only downside was the crowd only wanted to hear U.S covers & none of there ORIGINAL music
@@rupe82 do you mean the art performance in the end? Cuz if so it wasnt ridiculous i think it suited the documentary well and honestly is a very cool artpiece
Frost thinks before he answers the questions. Very smart individual. I finally got the 1349 DVD live in Switzerland 2005. What a hell of a drummer! Every second is a moment of perfection, and great timing with the songs ! Very skilled artists
Frost I love you! And I love Satyr too. I wanted to meet you closer at Brutal Assault 2016. But no meet and greet from 1349 or Satyricon :( sad panda. Do meet and greets at the smaller fests! I love you I am actually drinking the 1349 beer and watching this. It's the dark strong ale. It is good.
It must be difficult to have to apply your stage corpse paint, then be moved around to different staging areas, plus give interviews, and then go on as if it's normal. Very professional.
12:06 A good interview, but went off center when Frost was interrupted for the enth time. To stay focused he doesn't like it, but the message wasn't caught on over at headquarters.
IF ANYONE EVER TELLS ME BLACK METAL IS HATEFUL SATANIC DISTASTEFUL MUSIC. I will gladly send them an interview of Frost, and let them know that this man is like a sweet little boy living the best life as the greatest extreme metal drummer of all time. Reminds me of Chuck Shuldiner a lot. Goes to show that all metal is really just from true humans.
Frost answered really well considering how boring the questions thrown at him were. Also remained very patient, am sure I would've told the guy to shut the fuck up and not keep talking over me when I'm answering the questions he's asked in the first place. Can see at times Frost is visibly getting a bit frustrated. haha.
I haven't seen Frost live and I want to- but John Rice was exceptional throughout the show without even breaking a sweat. He was also very casual and friendly afterward, pleasantly surprised I knew who he was after the show.
Ninox111 I was lucky enough to see Frost play with 1349 for their demonoir tour in the states with skeletonwitch and cannibal corpse in a basement venue in milwaukee. such a brutal lineup!
Everyone is picking apart his personality in every fucking comment section in his interviews. He’s Norwegian. I’m Norwegian. It’s just how we are. Stop questioning it just because it’s out of the box or different from what you know. Not everyone needs to have a cookie cutter approach to how they hold themselves. Jesus
When i first saw Frost in this, i was like paint is done like king Diamonds corpsepaint. Maybe little tribute. Frost is a great player but very strange dude.
infiltrateassimilate Satyricon evolved, they're trying new things. Age of Nero was solid, Sign of the Trident probably my more favored track off the album.
They said they went back to the sound of black metal from the 80s, like venom etc, before it became more extreme, to return to the true roots of black metal, not try to make it more commercial. Old old old black metal is more like “black n roll” which is why they sound like that.
Yeah thats the thing with black metal its not just the soundscapes its also the idea behind the music and the artists, but Frost is mentally unstable, there is a documentary where at the end Frost is doing some form of art and he ends up cutting up his arm and slitting his throat.
yeah, you know the existence of artsy productsfor the entertainmentscene like fake knives and fake blood? you are fucking dumb if you think he did that for real, he should have big scars !
Im surprised at how calm and patient he stayed with the interviewer interrupting him so much, very professional.
wtf are you on about
Honestly, I think the interviewer was really well spoken. Frost is just a very, very intellectual guy, and he handled the interview like he normally would, he makes sure everything he says means something. Fantastic human being.
Frost always talks well in the interviews I've heard. Everything he says is considered... there is no bullshit. I enjoy listening to him.
He's an intelligent guy but his scene in Until the Light Takes Us was ridiculous.
@@rupe82 do you mean the art performance in the end? Cuz if so it wasnt ridiculous i think it suited the documentary well and honestly is a very cool artpiece

Frost one of my heroes that keeps Metal alive in my heart
Poser
He's one of best BM drummers out there. Satyricon is a good band. 1349 is more faster & brutal.
“More fast” or “faster”, “more faster” is redundant. Not trying to insult you, just help you sound more intelligent. Not calling you dumb either.
@@norwardradtke1361 the "more" is for both fast and brutal. According to you he should say "1349 is faster & brutal"...sounds dumb
Don't. Interrupt. FROST!!! It's not about you, let the man talk!
He such a intelligent man. I could watch his interviews all day.
P.s amazing fucking drummer!
That man can really fucking play drums, hail Frost!
6:21 that eyeroll tho
Sassy
Damn good drummer, his musical style and prowess is phenomenal. 1349 and Satyricon both \m/ \m/
Has anyone heard of Batushka?
Best fucking corpse paint ever.
He’s the best drummer. Love him.
Frost is highly articulate both intellectually and musically. Cool guy
A good salesperson, a good interviewer listens more than they speak.
Best corpse paint ever!!!!!!!!🤘🇳🇴
That make up is scary, Frost is a legit drum LEGEND.
OLD SCHOOL BLACK METAL !!
1994-1995!!!🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘
the best drummer of all times!! hail father Frost!
at minute 8:30 kroda playing at background so nice
"Vine" is a way more badass way to say "wine" btw. No wonder it was Frost who made me think that. He's badassery impersonated.
Vin is actually Norwegian for wine :)
Frost's work rate is off the charts!
Frost I love you! And I love Satyr too. I wanted to meet you closer at Brutal Assault 2016. But no meet and greet from 1349 or Satyricon :( sad panda. Do meet and greets at the smaller fests! I love you
I am actually drinking the 1349 beer and watching this. It's the dark strong ale. It is good.
Kaiser Frost
What is this 1349 beer you speak of?
I met Frost on the Demonoir tour in the UK, spoke a little about wine, asked him how is he so good at drums?, he replied- 'I practice a lot' LOL
wow your nick is good haha
I love their accents. Frost sounds like such a nice fellow, lol.
Interviewer: “How does beer work?”
Frost: *cracks knuckles* “Well...”
Badass corpsepaint
That interviewer interrupted frost so many times....
what a terrific interview
hail frost
It must be difficult to have to apply your stage corpse paint, then be moved around to different staging areas, plus give interviews, and then go on as if it's normal. Very professional.
i believe a murder almost took place at 12:00
This is hilarious to see him discuss beer - a bit of a shock here
Frost fucking rules
His voice is like little pink candies
12:06 A good interview, but went off center when Frost was interrupted for the enth time. To stay focused he doesn't like it, but the message wasn't caught on over at headquarters.
I'm impressed by the level of patience he showed here, very professional!
Frosts corpsepaint is so fucking cool 🤌🤌
my favorite
Probably my favourite corpse paint style other than Abbath.
best af
Interview with black metal personality and music at the beginning is Nightwish =D
anyone knows whats the band playing on the fest ? they start around the middle of the video , the riffs are beautiful
It is Kroda =)
emgita oh shit thanx! I liked them but im still not that familiar with the band , i love the laqt album!
Yeah! Their first album was the thing for me. But they kicked asses in Steelfest!! =) Great performance.
I actually liked this interview. I had no idea their band was going to market a beer. something I wouldn't have learned elsewhere
drummessiah the lighter beer has an ABV of 6.66% and the darker has an ABV of 13.49%
Black Metal Yoga.
HAIL FROST!!!
OK !

Hail Frost!
why did you interrupt him so much? he was so pissed
Frost answered really well considering how boring the questions thrown at him were. Can see at times Frost is visibly getting a bit frustrated. haha.
Yeah I too was surprised at the level of professionalism he showed with this interview.
How can the interviewer keep a straight face?
Frost face raped him...so he CAN NOT ..guy ish metal
15:15 anything you want to say ? No I want to go out and play ..
The 2017 album is pretty good.
Hey I still think Jim Rice should take over on drums in 1349. He's great every time they do a U.S tour.
I haven't seen Frost live and I want to- but John Rice was exceptional throughout the show without even breaking a sweat. He was also very casual and friendly afterward, pleasantly surprised I knew who he was after the show.
No. Just, no.
Ninox111 I was lucky enough to see Frost play with 1349 for their demonoir tour in the states with skeletonwitch and cannibal corpse in a basement venue in milwaukee. such a brutal lineup!
Who the fuck is Jim?... 😂
You mean John.
Talk your language, forget others, will shade some lights just for you, keep it up.

Oooh! I'm scared to death! That corpse paint and that voice... wait... something is wrong here.
Love the King Diamond tribute paint
Paint job looks like an homage to king diamond
Hmm I was thinking Gene Simmons. Maybe a combination of the two.
When i first saw Frost in this, i was like paint is done like king Diamonds corpsepaint. Maybe little tribute. Frost is a great player but very strange dude.
Looks scary, then he starts to speak with his high pitched voice...
Everyone needs some coin, kinda sucks these bands have to resort to beer brand and hot sauce companies
bro looks uncomfortable as hell
is this the singer from tokio hotel?
1349 is still good and Satyricon is a Walmart BM band now.
infiltrateassimilate
Satyricon evolved, they're trying new things. Age of Nero was solid, Sign of the Trident probably my more favored track off the album.

Idk why but I find this annoying to watch... Good interview anyway
This guy takes himself way too fuckin seriously. Before the show he gotta get his chakras all aligned and shit.
He wasnt the easiest guy to meet either...
How come?
This is a common theme in black metal. Dark vibes always. If anything, Frost is laid back in comparison to many others..
Yeah thats the thing with black metal its not just the soundscapes its also the idea behind the music and the artists, but Frost is mentally unstable, there is a documentary where at the end Frost is doing some form of art and he ends up cutting up his arm and slitting his throat.

Look, mommy's makeup.
The interviewer is no good man...What beer do you like? WTF
Hahahaha. Douche nozzle
Clown
