I drove that road from the ferry terminal into the center of town & even though I ride with half the crap that you ride with, the first thought that went though my mind was, "There is no way in hell I can climb this road without a power assist." Really says something about the durability of the Rohloff & forget percent, some of those hills are over 45 degrees! We stayed at a fantastic place called Penny's Bungalows with breakfast for $15. per night. Going back this year. (2023)

its the dogs that dont bark you need to watch out for....they run out from the side of the road silently they are the ones that will bite you...had that in Thailand and Cambodia and India...
