As a woman who has issues comprehending written patterns, this tutorial is a gem. I was asked to make a baby dress and couldn't because I can't read patterns. Now, thanks to you, I can. Thank you so much!
I hear you! I have 5 sons and no little girls in my life, so I never get to make any of these adorable little dresses. I always want to but can never justify the use of supplies or time.
Working on this dress now. I'm a rebel and hate the feel of slick acrylic yarn and it's kinda hairy. Maybe I bought the wrong kind, but I am using cotton for my dress. Praying it turns out as well as yours did Crystal!! Wonderful pattern, you are a great teacher 😊
I love your tutorials and just wanted to point out you say on round 5 you should end with 58 stitches, then on row 6 you add 3 DC in each arm home chain 2 space, making a total of 6 stitches added to the total of the previous row of 58. That is 64 not 66 as you state in the tutorial. Just wanted to throw this in the comments in case other viewers are confused by the count. LOVE the dress, turned out beautiful ! 😀
Hello Christal, cantik sekali baby dress nya, warnanya juga bagus, terimakasih untuk tutorialnya, aku dari indonesia selalu mengikuti dan membuat rajutan yang kamu ajarkan, thank you🙏🥰
😍 Beautiful dress 😍 Our granddaughter is 6 years old now, but she loves crochet items. 😍 I'll see if I can adapt the pattern - maybe make it the same way, but to her measurements. ☺️ Kinda surprised I caught a video early ☺️ Thank you for the beautiful dress. 💞
This is the cutest yarn, I love this dress. I have made "clementine" and was going to do another, but I think will be this one. I love the color too, perfect Easter dress. Can also make your little sandals to match. Thank you.
I made this dress for my granddaughter. I made a 12 month size. For my foundation I used a 6.5 mm crochet hook and the entire dress with a 5.5 mm crochet hook. I tend to crochet a little loose. I did what Crystal did. I only added more rows. I did a total of 25 rows. That's including starting with row one. It's 16" in length. I used 100% cotton. I hope that helps.
This is so beautiful. The colors and stitches work perfectly. Thanks for sharing this with us. Any baby would look great in this. Rose's baby doll is getting an amazing dress. Hugs 🤗😇 I hope my granddaughter has a girl even though she wants a boy. I have 2 grandsons and 1 granddaughter. We need another girl. Lol
I like this will figure out how to make it small enough for baby alive doll. I'll probably need to adjust for the reborn doll as well. Thank you Crystal.
Hi Crystal! Love this! First thing tomorrow, I will be scrounging through my stash for a good yarn to make this for my 2 year old granddaughter. I will try to increase the size on my own. This could get scarey! Will check back after to let you know how it came out. She's really tiny, so hopefully it goes well. Thanks, Crystal, for another item on my to do list! Beautiful! 💝
adorable.... Hope if will fit an AG doll. I have a friend with a toddler that has that doll. I think I will make this for her to dress her AG doll in.. I just love your baby girl dresses.
Hi Chrystal thanks a gorgeous little dress love it.i do baby stuff for charity so this will be lovely.i hope your cold gets better soon take care.lots of warm lemon drinks and honey.💝💝
Love the Dress it Gorgeous.🥰 New bright colors we haven't seen you make baby clothes for a while this was lovely to watch. If you don't mind me ask How is Rose doing with her Crochet? It would be nice to see what she is making something small like a wash cloth? Thanks again Crystal for Sharing all your tutorial videos with all of us for free you're too Generous N have a big heart.❣️ Take Care N Stay Blessed BOD Family 💖
Wow, Crystal, I am on video 11 now, and I love this baby dress, the yarn you chose is so beautiful. I love the texture and the colors! It is so fun, watching you stitching this up, fun fun fun! Love you Crystal~~Sindy.
I prefer the look of the edge after I go around it in SC at the end 😊 I use the back loop occasionally, but it's not my preferred method. But you can definitely do it that way if you like 😊
@@BAGODAYCROCHET 🤪you bet and thanks so much for you answer don't get that much with others love to watch you you have so much enthusiasm your great love you
Is there a pattern for your baby dresses? I tried to write the directions as we worked but I am sure I missed some directions. I have really enjoyed working up your samples. I was very I’ll and in the hospital for over a week so I am really enjoying the projects while I am recouping. Thank you for sharing !
THANK YOU CRYSTAL! I have loved these dresses, since the first one I made 7 years ago! I have a question though; why is it, cardigans cannot be made for adult sizes, using the top down method, in the same way that the toddler cardigan is, & how this dress starts out? (ie ch 58; crochet 6; then x2 crochet +xch2 in same stitch; crochet 14; then x2 crochet + ch x2…) If my math were better, I give it a go myself! Again, thanks Crystal!
Hi Chrystal- long time viewer and crochet tutorial follower and recommender. I am looking for a colorful yarn with a light sheen to make a couple baby blankets in 4weight ideally. Any couple yarns that come to mind?
I'm sorry to ask on this video, but I was looking back to make sure I hadn't missed any new ones and saw a giveaway that ended on the 25th and just curious if you've done that drawing and I missed it? Love ya always! 💝🇺🇸🦄🧚🏻♂️
