No health bar. No actual way to win the fight but to win some more time. Batman is literally the guy who took almost all of the villains in ONE night. This Batman who doesn’t hold back thx to Brainiac and using fear toxin should’ve been wipe the floor with Suicide Squad just like in the beginning. And we were just here to SURVIVE.

So let me get this straight
Phase 1 is just shoot the Batman statues, shoot the obvious slow moving bat reminiscent of the cliff hanger Arkham knight ending, shoot a bunch of Batman insignias so they don’t explode you, and vent fear toxin to counteract Batman’s fear toxin
Phase 2 is literally just shoot the big ass demon Batman instead of giving us a Batman who would be sneaky?
Look I’m not the biggest DC fan and I don’t treat Batman as an unkillable god, but damn they make Batman from the Batman and robin look actually intimidating compared to this
Phase 1 was kinda ok, i liked the callback to all his gadgets like the voice modulator, disruptor and explosive gel. Phase 2 was a let down, it could have been like a mr. Freez boss fight but in reverse, destroy perch points, make floor grates unusable, etc.

Why does it just stay in the middle? They couldn't incorporate him flying over them or moving left to right at least to make it a bit harder? He's the bat.... He moves around A LOT while fighting... Also the fear gas is supposed to give you visions and hallucinations, not make a solid scary giant version of batman that you could shoot normally.... Also, I am ticked off that they didn't integrate physical combat... You know... the thing batman has done for like 90% of the other games?
It's a looter SHOOTER... the squad will never put down the guns to fight, nor will anyone they fight use hand to hand combat.. The game just doesn't have thoes mechanics built in

@@benjamincurtis1412 True, although were they to hypothetically put such functions into the game they could pull of a reason in universe for them to drop their guns and go hand to hand. As we know from actually playing him, he has gadgets directly for the purpose of shutting down weapons and making them ineffective. So, would have been possible, granted that I'm 50/50 on whether or not it would have been better anyway. Just felt that I should bring that up.

Maybe it's just me but they made the fear toxin so terrifying from start to end in Arkham Knight but the Suicide Squad somehow manages to blitz through their fears with such ease? I was excitedly expecting Joker to suddenly appear and ridicule Harley but eh
Yea the way its used here is very weird. In Arkham Knight and Asylum its shown that it can literally traumatise people that they started running around screaming sometimes even causing physical and mental affects on people. We already saw how it affected Batman throughout the whole game, the guy with one of the strongest willpower ever got overtaken by his fears that he was pushing everybody away from him and became Joker.
I am guessing Batman modified it to just make it look like his a demon and keep the toxin temporary but still.

Demon Batman and even Knightmare Batman from the Arkham Knight true ending is something I would picture if he took the Sinestro ring and used it.
Also, one of the other things I’m realizing about the whole thing of how Batman dies… even if he was saved from brainwashing, what in the world is he going to do? He has literally crossed the line while brainwashed. Even if he got free, there would be no going back, because regardless of the fact that he was under brainiac’s control He would feel the weight of what he has done. What he has done to Robin. I really wish we would’ve had a lucid moment where Batman returned for a moment, like with flash when wonder woman used her lasso, and basically admitting that he would accept his death Because all of the blood on his hands, and to prevent himself from hurting more of humanity.
it would’ve been interesting that, instead of expelling joker from his mind, like he did, at the end of Arkham Knight, he would’ve Released Joker from his mind prison. Probably never really would’ve worked overall but…

Considering this is one of the most badass versions of Batman there's no real way in which the squad could have beaten him. Still like that he doesnt use guns. Batman can be brainwashed but his distate for guns is so strong that he wont use one even when he can still kill.
He literally uses one on Harley at the beginning of the game but The Flash is able to deflect the bullet with his finger

There was no way for making batman losing go well, a lot of this is so inappropriate for his character, this is Arkham Batman, he is a genius, he should know what he is doing. He still decides to show himself out in the open, instead of going stealth and using his fear toxin like in one of the Arkham games while we play as joker
It's hard to make Batman lose, but it's possible to make him fight properly and still lose. Like if his stealth takedowns fail and he uses Freeflow Combat, dropping a fear toxin grenade every time he gets damaged, I'm sure people wouldn't be complaining nearly as much.

I feel like batman should have been the only one not compromised but heavily injured and unable to fight so he aids the suicide squad with his contingency plans to taken the infected justice league down. And another cool thing could have been that you could choose to either A: Stick with the contingency plans as they are, or B: modify them to kill the justice league. Doing all of A would yield a good ending where everyone lives and they all team up to defeat braniac and his army. However ending B would be a loose loose where you kill them all, batman gets infected, and braniac defeats everyone and takes over.
How are they able to comminicate coherently when doped up on fear toxin? AND how does arkham batman, with out his no kill rule and getting the fear toxin drop on the players not instakill them?
