ITC is like Elephant slowly slowly walk, give profit in dividend and growth...
Agreed.
It has been doubled now...
Very difficult to forego the cigarette business in the first place.. provided the profitability that it provides.. looks like presently it is nothing without that segment.
Enjoyed the content like always!!👍👍
What I feel is it will take atleast 2 decades for FMCG business to have considerable influence on revenue.
@@curiousmonk 2 decades? Are you Crazy 😧
@@presidentvladimirputin250 of course. it won't happen that easily
@@presidentvladimirputin250Yes he is right. Check how old other FMCG brands are, those who can sustain good margins and have pricing power.
@@curiousmonk True that and also 2 decades is not a very long time in this sector. Creating brands, getting people hooked to them and having the ability to pass on the higher costs to customer without affecting sales takes time. ITC is on a good track.
Although I personally feel they would be in a decent place within 1 decade. Decent enough to leave 'FMCG others' biz on its own.
I also feel they should invest heavily in food, agri, IT and engineering related startups which will in turn help the mother brands. They can also start a startup accelerator program incubating startups and then acquire them if they are successful. They can afford to take this much of risk cuz of the cash they are holding.
Great 👍
