I forgot my Tank 3 Pro phone on top of my car, and while I was driving, it fell off. My car is 2 meters high, and I was going at about 110 km/h. I saw something spinning very fast behind my car but didn't realize it was my phone until I stopped to check. Indeed, it was my Tank 3 Pro. Was it damaged? Yes, it had a few scratches and the projector glass was broken, but the phone was still working perfectly. Please don't try this yourself; it was super dangerous. It could have ended badly if it had hit another car. Don't leave your belongings, especially your phone, on top of your car. I just wanted to share this to demonstrate how durable this phone is. It’s literally as tough as a rock.
Even though this was posted 10 months ago, and you probably posted a new video, Android 14 is available for this phone. I purchased it a day ago and am still waiting for it. I hope Android 14 will be pre-installed. The camera is not the main reason I got it. I got it because of the specs - 16GB RAM, 512GB ROM, CPU almost at flagship level, and a 23.8K mAh battery - all for just $540. Those are the reasons for me.
@@TheTechPreacher I've noticed a few new features that I know you'll surely love, there's "fan cooling" option now to cool the phone now when it gets hot, there's mobile manager app pre installed now, a new and improved camera app, and I'm pretty sure that the projector now has a much wider footprint than before, also the camping light feels brighter I might be wrong about that one though!
Thanks for the videi Eazy. I remeber you mentioning how much heavier the tank 3 was on the stream. Yep, people will have to make a decision about the weight. Overall, it is a solid device.

The heavyiness is more of the beast battery that it has, I think i'd stick with the heavyness instead of a smaller battery which gives less use time. I have not seen any Samsung phone with a better battery option, but samsung uses a thinner battery and less talk time. Tank 3 is built for outdoors, rugged life style, and even military operations, so I'd stay and will stick with the heavyness instead of a cheaper body and cheaper battery. It's a rugged phone, so it depends on the use and the person. I love it.
after 6 month i really like it the battery life and the fast charging is what set this device apart. I really think they should make more celle phone with battery with at least 8 000 mAh capacity and with faster charge. I also like the big light. The 2 things I don't like is that the device don't take good picture I think my S09 was taking better picture and I also dislike the autocorrect but from what I've heard it's a problem on every new cell phone. Other than that the phone is really fast, I play some game once in a while with it and it work really good.

Dear Tech Priest. Great Video, thanks a lot. One question. Unihertz only states on there Website Ip68 water resistance. I read you should not take such devices into the water. On the other hand the show Underwater pictures in there promotional pictures. So what is it now?
It’s promotional artwork for ip68 certification, like all water resistant products, it’s recommended you don’t drown your phone in water for longer then 30 minutes under water as the device can start to take damage. A lot of people recommend you avoid dropping your device in water but should you drop your device in water or it gets splashed by water or you get caught in the rain your device will be a-okay when you get it dried off 👍

Apart from that the phone seems fine 8-9 days on battery and finally all my notifications are working which is rare in Android :D. @@TheTechPreacher
Aliexpress seller told me to simply remove the plastic protector from the back. Suprisingly it solved the issue with IR camera, also wide angle looks a bit better too. So my guess is they've cut too small holes for those cameras. I just hope it won't get scratched now ;)@@TheTechPreacher

@@TheTechPreacher great 2 is better 👌🏾👌🏾👌🏾👌🏾
Dear Tech Priest. Great Video, thanks a lot. One question. Unihertz only states on there Website Ip68 water resistance. I read you should not take such devices into the water. On the other hand the show Underwater pictures in there promotional pictures. So what is it now?
There is underwater camera software on the tank device so yes you can take pictures under water. But no longer then a few minutes
It’s promotional artwork for ip68 certification, like all water resistant products, it’s recommended you don’t drown your phone in water for longer then 30 minutes under water as the device can start to take damage. A lot of people recommend you avoid dropping your device in water but should you drop your device in water or it gets splashed by water or you get caught in the rain your device will be a-okay when you get it dried off 👍
Hi! Would you say this is better than the Doogee V Max?
I'm not sure I haven't reviewed that phone
@@TheTechPreacher thanks for your response!

Congratulations to you
What about bands?
Is band 71 not an issue ?
Please check out the link down for all the information
Doesn't have band 71 that is low frecuency for rural areas.
Id difficult to go out to camping or outside the city. Without band 71

@The Tech Preacher Tech Preacher, does their most direct ultra-rugged smartphone making competitor Ulefone do a better job when it comes to upgrades and security patches? Thanx!
I'm not sure I haven't reviewed none of the ulefone
Check out ULEFONE ARMOR 24, similar to this phone except that ulefone has additional endoscopy and microscope accessories.
great video, I have the ulefone armor 24 and it is almost the same as the tank 3 with somethings better some the same and some a little less but the armor 24 is half the price.... Get the armor 24. lol
Thanks for watching I really appreciate it
Thank you for the video, where can I order Tank 3 pro?btw I live in Europe

I have been looking at this phone for about a month now. I'm really, really, really rough on phones with it being as big and bulky and durable as they claim it is. Is it really durable like it'll handle being dropped and everything else?I do working in the mines
I'm also hard on phones - that is the question I want answered.
Does it have a projector
Please check out the video
Hay Rev how's the updates on this phone if no updates I'm passing out for the Google Pixel 8

Tank 1 is the best for camera in all three
Tank 1 camera is really good. Thanks for watching I really appreciate it
Hey bro. Is tank 3 pro good for taking live in Social media? Hows the video quality?
Long battery life the video quality is ok not the best if you want very good video quality look at galaxy, iPhone, Motorola, LG and google Pixel.
@@TheTechPreacher Actually I don't want the professional video but just for social media purposes. Would you recommend it for me?
@TimothyWarrior-p2l social media maybe ok but remember the video lack optical image stabilization
@@TheTechPreacher alright. Means if I use extra phone stabilizer, it should be good?
Can I chase Yeti (with the phone)?
Sorry I'm not sure the question
A little off topic, I have a one plus and system UI is burning up all my battery do you know how to find out why?
Factory reset
@@TheTechPreacher I've used many devices and I've never had this issue, I suppose it's not the system it's some app that my phone downloaded when I reset it before 🤔 maybe?
Seems like there is no audio jack with the radio module :( I would buy it

Does it have widevine L1 meaning can it stream 1080p or higher on Netflix and UA-cam
UA-cam it doesn't matter you can watch 4k on anything. Netflix, Hulu service require L1 for 1080p but I watch Netflix all day on my LG v60 and the quality is superb
@@TheTechPreacher but does the unihertz tank 3 have widevine L1

for me, ❤it just for the battery. im on constant long distance travel & i really hate it when my phone battery already empty just before i get to my destination, so i have to always carry with me a powerbank + its cord which is another hassle.
for the cons on the camera... im fime with it since Im not into selfie, picture taking, etc. but id l❤ve it even more if Unihertz will fix the camera.
conclusion: im buying it.
Congratulations to you
Let's do this ✌️
Thanks for watching
Can it cast to a smart TV?
I'm not sure I never tried it
What carrier can u use
I heard that T-Mobile works well
T-Mobile, mint mobile works great
Well be nice to test other carriers what works and what does not work
Like atat cricket or even ones for Prepaid sims
If ur wondering plan to buy one just want to make sure what carrier's is Compatible or a short reel to see its working
Can you play cod warzone on the tank 3 pro because if it can't I think I'd go for the cheaper pro 2
I'm not sure I don't play that game
The only problem with these phones is no technical support and the warranty is no good as my tank 2 is playing up up and unihertz have just washed there hands of me it did last 3 months though before playing up so £100 a month ain't bad is it ???
I'm sorry for your issues you had what them
The screen just runs away with itself and the whole lot freezes so has to be rebooted all the time and now the headphone jack has gone other than that it's a great phone and love the battery life
What is the price of Tank3 in psh.
All links are down below
Did it get any update?
Nope
Good Review 💁🇩🇪
Thanks I really appreciate it
Does this phone, compatible in the T-Mobile carrier?
I'm using it on T-Mobile and mint mobile
Yeti is going to chase you if he sees you with this monster phone
Will it work with AT&T?
Well At&t is the devil hardly anything works on At&t phones but At&t brand phones unfortunately. I left At&t years ago. Thanks for watching I really appreciate it
Is the tank 3 compatible with mint mobile?
Yep
Con #4
Unihertz is a rather small brand unsupported by most of the largest phone plans in the USA. Especially Verizon, you'd don't get your pick of the litter of phone plans if you decide to use this phone.
Understandable
Anyone know if it supports hdmi video in and out with a usbc hub
Nah no HDMI out
After having this for a few weeks, my girl said it looks like your right arm is bigger than the left……. Time to start carrying it more in my left hand. 😂
