I recently picked up the Jelly Star. Love the small form factor and texting isn't an issue. I primarily use voice to text anyways. I miss the days when phones were normal sized and not giant glass tablet monsters.
I ordered one of these partly based on this review. Seems like it fits my needs (and wants) perfectly. (Took advantage of Aliexpress sale & code for a $200.04 total...not too bad. )
What is the difference between Unihertz and 8849? I've been trying to price out the Tank 3 Pro online to order and I am coming across the 8849 Tank 3 pro by unihertz but am also seeing unihertz tank 3 pro. I would think they are the exact same, however some of the tank 3 pros say unihertz on the front and others say 8849. Could you please shed some light on this for me? Cheers!!!!!
8849 is just a sub-brand of Unihertz. In the future, I believe that all ‘tough’ Unihertz phones will be under the 8849 brand. Currently it’s a bit of a transition period, so things might be a bit confused
Great review, well done. I love mini phones and was looking for a good excuse to buy tank mini. You gave me all the reasons to do so. Will be ordering one soon.
Hello, I just recived this pohe and the buttery lasts only half a day and I dont play at all and I dont talk much. Do you have any ide what to do? NOBODY SHOULD BUY THIS PHONE BECASUE THEY DO NOT HAVE A RETURN POLICY! THE BUTTERY IS MUCH LESS THAN THEY ADVERTISE!
Nice review! I love the smaller phones. Regarding the small keyboard, I wish unihertz had an option like the trusty nokia t9 predictive text! That would probably make their small phones perfect!
I'm using a Unihertz Atom L phone for the past couple years and as a dairyfarmer it's been ideal! small enough to fit in my overall chestpocket, rugged enough to fall out of the tractor and drive over it 😅and capable enough to do anything with. I was waiting for a similar followup and it has finally come.
@@DavisFangTech, I don't mind heavy. But yes, I'm familiar with the Jelly Max. The Jelly is too big for me too, but I'm glad they're still working on somewhat smaller phones. I'll be excited when they come back and work on the ATOM again.
Can you write on atom's screen? I'm writing this comment from tank mini and it's quite hard to write. Especially with Turkish qwerty keyboard with 6 extra letters.
@@huseyinuguralacatli5064, I've gotten used to typing on it. It's not super easy but is better when you turn the phone sideways. The keyboard gets a little bigger in landscape. There's also speech to text.
What a mistake from Unihertz to do something like this!!!!! Who would enjoy to surf the web and see videos with such small display? Women? Not really! Instead of concentrating in the buggy Tank 3 to make it the very best of the world, doing something like this waste! Greetings and thanks for the video!

You'd be surprised how many men and women love the Jelly Star which is even smaller. Many of us are trying to curb smartphone addiction while keeping access to smart apps if needed. I'm torn between Jelly Star and Tank Mini.

If the battery can last two days while playing non-stop then I guess this phone is a good choice for people who love small smartphone.
Definitely way better battery life than most small smartphones!

there sounds like that there is something seriously wrong with your device if it is only lasting that long.
@@DavisFangTech yes i think so but the company does not offer solution
hi, thanks for review first and second - can you tell where is possible download compatible pixel camera?
Search Google for “GCam port” and it should be the first option. It’s the one with celso azevedo in the title
@@DavisFangTech thanks
How long does this phone last on battery?
How to good condition this mobile can another mobile same good condition? Please reply ❤❤❤
can you rephrase your question?
Where can I download gcamPort?
Try searching for GCam Hub
Nah, it's not too small, you're just too used to the giant monstrosities we like to call phones these days.

I never had a T9 phone, so that would just confuse me even more ahaha
Was that windows phone? I love that launcher. Anyone knows the name ?
It’s called “Launcher 10” if I recall
Very nice thanks.Doea it have night vision? I do not see red lights
No, it doesn’t unfortunately
@@DavisFangTech Thank you very much
Can these be used on at&t ?
Double check the bands on the website, but I think that it should? Alternatively, it would be T-Mobile in the US
How good for delivery jobs ?
haven't tried it myself, but I would assume fairly good?
Excellent review and very helpful, well done and thank you!
Glad you liked it!
To me ill accept a projector over the measurement feature
Me too!
I wasn’t sure about these but I think the small one is very cool
Definitely worth trying out!

Mini 1, surely. If I want to buy a bigger one, Ulefone Armor Pad 2 is my choice.
It would have been better if this phone had a projector😢
agreed
It would be great if they removed the notch and included symmetrical bezels, which would be better than the ginormous bottom bezel.
Completely agree, would love to see stereo front firing speakers too
After using the 2.45" ATOM, I think the Tank Mini is a little too big actually.
It’s super heavy for the price too! Have you taken a look at the Jelly Max they’ve just announced?

I would like to see a battery drain test from the mini
I don’t have enough time to film that, but I’m sure some other creators will!
Well, time to unearth the old T9 keypad skills.
Ahahaha
I will happily wait for a 4.3" Golden Eye 5G. This is too fat in my opinion
Wi-Fi calling? NFC?
Might this be the way to go. Edit: Ah it has 4g, nvm then.
yeah, I do wish that it had 5G too
I haven't seen photos this bad since 2013
CAN U PLEASE MAKE A VIDEO ON HOW TO REPLACE TANK3 BATTERY?
I would probably just break it
To read and tape letters its very small letters? Need glasses
