Star Wars: Where are the movies?

I think the Star wars fanbase has been quite divided the last few years.
I don't think that making Star Wars movies would solve all the problems but I think changing up how Star Wars is delivered to fans makes a big difference. Back during the sequel trilogy it was too many movies, now it's too many Disney plus series. Like the force, you need balance, I think something like Obi-Wan Kenobi and The Acolyte could have been done as movies. The manadalorian and Book of boba fett (I know it's not great) can stay as series.
Ahsoka I think could have done with a slightly shorter season.
But how are they going to approach Star Wars movies going forward? Will they be huge events like heir to the empire or will it just be 'Hey this character is popular!'
I don't know but I feel that disney need to reevaluate it slightly.
