Thank you for this video! I just watched a string of videos about people trying out various coffee quitting challenges. I would hope there is some kind of balance in life to where we don't have to give up absolutely everything we enjoy. Have a great week! ❤️

So true right? Balance is truly key, I know red wine flares my rosacea, yet I still have the odd one now and then...
As for coffee - I can't say I felt largely different any time I was off it, so there is also that!

My absolute favorite travel mug is the Zojirushi brand. I bought it on Target website. It keeps liquid hot or cold for 7 to 8 hours easily.

Never tried that one - but it looks good! Thanks for the recommendation :)

In terms of migraines, Sumatriptan changed my life, it takes away a migraine like that. It's also called Imitrex I believe.

Love my black coffee, first thing in the morning. I only drink it in the morning. Yeti all the way. I also drink green tea often, along with Hibiscus tea and other herbal teas.Hey, sometimes I only drink cold water. Never drink soda. If you were stuck on a desert island with only coffee, you wouldn't die of dehydration. My skin is excellent, but I use good topical products on it. I'm glad coffee is possibly good for me, because I'd hate to give it up.

Thanks for sharing! Looks like there are a few of us black coffee drinkers here, so cheers to that!

I have a large ceramic mug that is sculpted to look like an owl. Silly, I know. But it’s my mug. 😊 Not a fan of tea, unless I am at a restaurant. 2 cups black coffee only, except on Sunday when I add a little weekend juice (aka Irish Cream). I only drink water the rest of the day. I use a commercially made coffee ground-coconut oil manual scrub twice a week. I used to use scrubs daily without over stressing my skin. I do think that is partly the reason my skin is in good condition at 65.

That is amazing! Thank you so much for sharing your story, and your precious owl mug. I am sure others who see you drinking out of it- really associate it with you 🦉

❤Starbucks Nito brew if being good. When I am on vacay I have SB Carmel Macchiato frozen or hot! I have converted to drinking it black every morning. Hawaiian Kona macadamia flavor (Greenwell Farms) is my treat! Cheers🎉

I love both coffee and tea too, but I am a little sensitive to caffeine, so normally I only drink one cup a day of the kind with caffeine. Unless my mom wants a frappé, then I normally fix myself one of those too. (I try not to have anything with caffeine after 2pm unless it's chocolate. Even decaf coffee because I have heard decaf still has a teeeenie but of caffeine left in it, I just don't know how much.)
Normally I choose between coffee and green tea in the morning, but recently I've been putting mocha mix into my green tea, and a little bit of peppermint creamer when I want a treat. I can drink tea without any sweetener, but I used to hate the taste without it. I can't drink coffee without creamer yet, but I'm thinking since I trained myself to drink tea without it, that if I really tried then I could probably go creamer-less.
In the evenings I always drink chamomile tea, since it is caffeine free. It helps me relax and definitely has an effect on my anxiety, which likes to keep me up at night even when I'm not stressed about anything, lol. So yeah, chamomile has to be my favorite just for the fact it helps me sleep better

Thanks so much for sharing! I really do love chamomile in the evening too :). I have never tried mocha in a green tea, but now you have me thinking...

If you don't drink coffee black, then you don't really love coffee!!!

I (now) agree! 🤣So funny how before I thought it was the worst thing ever, and how my tastes have changed over the years ☕️

I don’t appreciate the flavour of coffee at all. I find it too bitter for my palate. I love tea. I used to drink a variety of teas, ranging from different types of black and green teas, with a few herbals thrown into the rotation, but now it’s exclusively black (orange pekoe or English breakfast). I drink it with a splash of soy milk, no sugar. I only drink decaffeinated after 5pm.

Gen Z here to say that I don't drink coffee after 11:00 am. I don't think age has anything to do with this. Also I said it once and I say it again - I really hope to look as glowing as you do when I'm in my 40-ies 👌

    • @ChristaEvelyn
      @ChristaEvelyn  11 місяців тому +2

Aww - you are so sweet. Can I ask why you don't drink it after 11:00? Is it because you get jittery, or does it keep you up?
      Cheers to Gen Z 💫

@@ChristaEvelyn both, kind of.. maybe because I'm not a big coffee drinker to begin with, so my body reacts immediately and needs 5-6 hours to calm down. I'm more of a green tea type, milky oolong specifically! wish you a wonderful week. I really enjoy your videos, please keep up amazing job. Greets from Berlin, Germany
