That’s funny. I love coffee too but with milk and no sugar. The sugar for me is unnecessary because the coffee is so good. The only thing I see also bad besides t coffee is the milk. Even if the milk is pasteurized it’s not so good. Dairy products usually brake me out.

Coffee gives me cystic acne. When I quit coffee, no breakouts. Start coffee, breakouts all along my jaw line and cheeks. Research has talked about it affecting your stomach acid. Would love to hear more about this doc because I’d want nothing more than to go back to my daily cup of Joe. I used to drink black, stovetop espresso, by the way.

Everyone I know who drinks coffee regularly has bad skin. I don't believe anything that says otherwise. You cant visually see it until the late 30's, early 40's. By 42, coffee drinkers look much older and have broken capillaries, ruddy skin, wrinkles. I know what I see on my skin when I drink it and I know what I see on regular coffee drinkers. I've read that it breaks down collagen and magnesium, too. Also, lack of sleep is known to cause rapid aging.

I came here because I have a hand eczema that got much better when I stopped drinking coffee. Everytime I start drinking coffee again it flares up again... wondering what it could be in coffee that triggers this

Coffee keeps me from being a zombie. Plus I tried to go off of it cold turkey once. Worst headache of my life. Go off of it slowly if you've been a long time daily drinker unless you want a splitting headache.

When I started drinking more than one cup a day I noticed my skin suffering some. When I switched to a coconut creamer I went back to normal. I always have drank a ton of water tho.

My mum proves it. She is a nurse and a coffee addict for more than 30 yrs+. But her skin is still wonderful. But she only drinks hot black coffee, as she is lactose intolerance. Plus my grandma had a wonderful skin too.

But what about collagen? Apparently caffeine surpresses collagen in skin and basically makes it age more quickly...

Whenever I drink coffee its a black iced coffee. Maybe the milk in the coffee beverage can be cause of acne.

A study from the University of Innsbruck in Austria found a trend that suggested a correlation between preferences for black coffee and other bitter tastes, and sadistic or psychopathic personality traits. The study, published in the journal Appetite, surveyed almost 1,000 adults about their flavor preferences.Jan 24, 2023

My persistent chin acne was clearing up this summer, but then I found out I had type 1 diabetes, so I didn’t have a lot of insulin production 😅 When I started taking insulin my acne came back. Womp womp. Caffeine increases blood sugar too!

But but... it couldn't be the coffee. All the coffee addicts paid to do these studies say so. It couldn't have anything to do with it contributing to high production levels. Drink coffee work harder, for us.
