I love being introduced to old bands that are new to me now at 66 years old . Too bad they didn’t make it into the American music scene to where there was a lot of money to be made back then. Thanks for sharing this with us out here in Southeast Alabama USA.❤️☮️
I've been on a quest through YT over the last few months to listen to as many prog rock bands as I can. Although I'm a dedicated fan of UK prog rock (including the Canterbury Scene), I've had the joy of discovering some real gems, including this one! What a fantastic sound👍
I have been on the same journey for discovering prog rock in the past three months. Since I got introduced to Ahoy band. I've been digging and listening more and more to prog rock bands from 70s
I've been a fan of progressive rock since the 70s, but there are so many treasures I've never discovered until decades later, like this one! This is great stuff!

Hola!!! Otro buen grupo setentero para buscas. Suena mucho al primer Yes (los sonidos de Tony Kate y Peter Banks están ahí, pero sobre todo el bajo de Chris Squire), aunque con su propia identidad. Lift es un grupo que suena mucho Yes, pero feliz y agradablemente no es Yes. Suenan a Lift. Lamentablemente esta grabación solo incluye 4 temas, que suman entre 36 y 38 minutos. Eso dice la información, pero el audio alcanza 1:04:17. Por lo tanto faltan datos. De lo que hay: "simplicity" es una joyita. Primer tema y súper melodioso. "Caverns" y "Buttercup..." con una voz muy pegada a Anderson y "Trippin'..." que es lo mejor en bajo estilo Squire. Bello y potente. Ya el sonido nos pone tres temas más (sin nombre ni tiempo de duración -y por eso podrían ser más o menos temas-) de los cuales el último es fácil de catalogar: Una belleza. Lindo tema. Ojalá los amigos de la página "Tiffany..." ajusten esta grabación. Vale la pena. Mi puntuación siempre subjetiva: 8 sobre 10. Disco de 1974 y grupo proveniente de Louisiana -New Orleans-. Imperdible. Atentos amantes de Yes!!!. Un saludo, desde Perú, Paco Mattos.

Sensacional, muito bem apresentativo pro estilo anos 70s, bem ao estilo das grandes bandas, sem querer procurar imitar qualquer uma, caracterisca bem peculiar própria, deixando assim transparecer uma performance diferenciada bem executada, meus parabéns, a mim agradou muito.

Yes he was / is. Though no longer playing, Chip and I not only share the same name, but remain best friends. We've know each other since we were in third grade!!! That was a long time ago when the galaxy was in a far different place than it is now 🙂

"Trippin' Over The Rainbow" is so similar to "Apocalypse in 9/8" that I can't believe nobody has commented on this.
We were Genesis fans and met them when they first toured New Orleans. They were hardly known there in 1973. We took them to the French Quarter and had a blast with them after the show. A very traditional group of gentlemen. "Tripping" was a salute to them. 🙂 Chip Gremillion
