Man, a lot of people here think they know what you should and shouldn’t do! I say that you’re young, single, no kids, so do whatever the heck you feel like doing. Try it all! This is your time to experience all you can unencumbered by responsibilities to others. I’m here for it and good luck🥰
EXACTLY! haha thank you!
Hi Brandon, you and I have the same last name….regardless, I just purchased my first boat, she’s a project and I plan on living on her. I have no social media and I live in Texas. Any way to get a hold of you? Had some questions about boat living.
@@pamelataylor412 hey, you wanna plant your look at me I’m so cool flat out there that’s what you get
@@BrandonGrossyour doing what many people on their death beds wish they would have done in their youth. You’re living life in the moment.
Really excited to be living vicariously through your adventures. Can't wait to see what's in Florida!
Me too! haha
@@BrandonGross Also here to beg for daily vlogs!
Goodbye to your boat! It’s been amazing to watch your experiences on that boat! I’ve loved all the videos! I’m so excited for your next chapter in Florida! Congrats on the new truck! I hope you find a good little boat for Florida and the other one sells so you can get a bigger boat asap! Safe travels Brandon! Thank you so much for sharing all of this with us!! Much love ❤️
💜❤️ Can’t wait to watch your adventures down south!! Can’t say I’m not a little jealous. Have so much fun and be safe!!
Good luck Brandon. Keep on keeping on....
You needed to add that fuel stabilizer before you pulled it and took a quick trip down the river to get it into the motor.
❤❤❤❤ beautiful drone footage of the autumn leaves and the changing of the follage ❤️😊❤️😊 we are in spring here in Melbourne Australia❤❤❤ I love autumn and spring❤️❤️❤️ Good-luck with your new chapter in Miami!
Pickup truck life videos would be pretty cool as well. Maybe you could do some videos of traveling in the truck when not on the boat? So far we have all seen the school bus, ambulance, mini van and the boat. So this would be pretty sweet 🤟🏻
16:06. gonna be a awesome next boat life chapter!!! so glad this end isn't the end
my family has watched your entire move to Florida!!! we also live in Florida and enjoy the water all year long! thank you for including so much details in your videos. it makes them more engaging. I like the truck you went with!
❤😊 bro a lot of us live down here in South Florida boat all year long can't wait to see you you going to have real fun in Miami
Safe travels and cheers to new adventures!!!
Thanks!!
Glad to have you here in Florida with us for the winter... hope you have a boat load of fun, stay safe. 🙂
Wherever you store your boat if it's going to be outside get 2 bedroom heaters put them by your engines get you a solar panel hook them up to it set it up where it is automatic at night they will keep your engines warm all winter keep them from cracking
And watch it catch fire from your wifi camera.
So happy that we use our boats all year in Georgia.
Im so sad and happy i was here from the start to finish of this adventure, hope you got something good and fun coming up
As always, can't wait for your next adventure!!! Keep em coming!!
Always more to come! Glad you're enjoying them!
@@BrandonGross ♥♥
Tour around Florida in the winter, then do the great loop in the spring!
I understand you want a boat/ Yacht in Florida dont go smaller ! You never go smaller ! Just saying same size ! Take your time and find one thats right for you ! I love your yatch ! ❤ safe travels
I have to go smaller until my boat in PA sells, also I don't want to learn the ICW on a big boat
I understand that too ! 😊 best of luck
I love the idea of trying different things I'm open to that. But I'd like to see you sir again with Corey, Matt and the two men during Cerro Gordo.,doing adventures. That would be so exciting! ❤❤❤❤❤
haha yea that was a great time!
@BrandonGross what about sir, you visit each one of them or all of u get together even just chitchatting ,getting crazy, funny ,chilling and make some adventures together. Or a camping with you 5 in a sinking island hahaha. Isn't a good a idea? We love you sir Brandon and the rest of the gang we miss you the cutie five. Me and my mom will always be with you in your journey.💗 🙂
That was stunning. Hey you got to life your life in the now because you never know what tomorrow brings . I found that out when my dad was killed . Have fun in the sun from the cold uk xx
Wow! It’s been a fantastic journey with you Brandon!!
Only you know what and where you need to go and how you do it mate and all the very best wishes for the next episode 👍
Shame that beautiful boat is being sold and totally get that BUT for a bigger boat! I hope the smaller boat idea works for you whatever your plans 👍
Don’t agree with the antifreeze in the fresh water system, just draining it all out should of been ok, all I’ve ever done!
Looking forward to the next adventure and again, all the very best of luck and wishes 👍🇬🇧
I live down here in Florida for 35 years and the boat that you have is the perfect boat to have down here in Florida if you really want to live and also be able to have another boat tied up to it for an offshore boat to go out fishing! 😊
Welcome to Florida, you'll love it here. Be safe.
Thank you! Will do!
It’s about to be a big change for you! Florida is where I’ve looked at moving around the Fort Lauderdale area. Don’t be sad about selling the boat. It’s time for a bigger one!
So now that you have the truck did you sell the van or keeping it?
Can’t wait to see the Florida adventures.
Super excited to learn the Florida boat life! and The minivan is sold!
@ definitely gonna be a wild ride! I’m looking forward to watching the adventures you get into man. You still doing 2 vids a week?
😢i will miss this boat…..have fun in Florida!!🫶🏻
Alright slick Rick. I’m gonna let you get away with that clickbait this time… 😝 I can’t lie, I panicked. 🤯 😂✌️🍻
Great ending to this video!
Going from small water to big water while downsizing boats doesn't make a lot of sense.
Different kinds of water ways down south.
I don’t get this guy? what, he been boating for six months and making videos like he is some sort of nautical guru. For Christ sake he’s on the river in Pittsburgh. Ha! Why not trailer that rig down to Florida? Looks like he finally has the proper vehicle to tow with not borrowing mom & dad’s grocery getter. Life long freshwater boats go for big $$$$ in Florida. And the radar arch is coming down why? If you’re at a storage facility that can’t accommodate your arch you’re at the wrong facility.
Until my boat in PA sells I have to buy smaller. Too much money tied up in my other boat
never once at all claimed to be any sort of boat expert haha, not trailering it because it's an oversize load for the roads, weighs 13,000+ when on the trailer, i/o's are not ideal for the salt water, and radar arch sits at over 14' tall on the trailer which is too tall for bridge clearance on the drive to the storage unit.
@@BrandonGross don't look over sized from here what is it 28 maybe 32 ft. 3 tandem trailer fits on there just fine. had a 42 footer 14 foot beam hauled from Florida up to Lake Erie 6 years ago that's an oversized load.
Hey Brandon, you got the truck, congratulations. Now that you have it, get the permit and take your boat down to Florida or navigate your boat down the ICW where you're protected from the ocean. Good luck.
Florida is the way to go, you will probably get more interest in the channel and you might have to live in a smaller boat for now but you can probably find a decent boat for a lot less money until you get established enough for a bigger boat.
Yeah i'm excited for florida, once my boat in PA sells I'll be able to afford a bigger boat for Florida!
If you’re planning on living on a boat in Florida it would be stupid for you to get a smaller boat… you’ve already driven this size and struggled a little expand your ability get a larger or same sized boat… it’s no fun watching you go backwards
Can't afford a bigger boat until my boat in PA sells!
Can't wait for the next video, and all the following ones. I know I've told you this before but I just don't understand how you don't get tens of thousands of views... BTW, why Miami and not Tampa, or some other place in FL ?
I appreciate that!! And I have many reasons for being in Miami but you will see in the videos to come!
Colors are gorgeous, they look like a painting. Looking forward to more adventures Brandon. BTW do you hear from Sarah (van life) and how she's doing?
Thanks! Yeah I talked to her not too long ago, shes just focusing on non social media things at the moment
I am glad she is okay. Thank you for the info.
I think it's a good idea to start with a smaller boat in Florida for $$$$ reasons as well as the ability to tow it easily with your truck. I'd recommend a small fishing cabin boat and explore all the cities and waterways of Florida and then decide where makes sense to make home with a bigger more expensive boat. You might find Miami too busy and want to be somewhere a little slower like Jupiter or Ft Pierce. All will be easier with a small boat except the amount of space you'll have. Good luck!!
Hell yea bro !!!
Congrats on the truck. Do 4,000 mile oil changes and service the trans every 20k miles. Thats the secret for those things.
Safe travels see you around Miami
What your not taking it down to Florida? 😢
Never say never and your on UA-cam someone we’ll definitely buy it! ❤
Also the boss is back and we can afford gas now and enjoy life that we work so hard for to enjoy ourselves ❤
I wish i could take her to florida!
...do what makes YOU happy stay blessed👌👌💜
Sad day, gonna miss watching of your yatch but in bigger water you'll eventually have the option to go big again if you wanted to. Looking forward to the new adventures regardless 🎉
Good Times brother.
Would be cool to see ya get a truck camper setup one day bro. I currently have a 14 Silverado with the camper setup under the cap
I've already thought about that! Definitely might have to do it!
I hope you end up in Ft. Pierce. Great boating!
Good luck 👍
You are way more experienced with boat life now. But this time its the sealife in Miami! You will fit in ❤❤❤ they like to party and there is always something happening! ❤❤❤
One of the scariest things I've ever experienced boating, trying to get the damn thing on the trailer lol :) :)
Also, dammmmmmmn those are some pretty trees!!
Sad this is the end of the road for Dream Catcher but onwards and upwards Brandon 😃 what size boat you looking for in Miami?
It is very sad but moving to Florida will open so many more opportunities. I'm looking for a 21-25' walk around boat right now. Something small to learn the boating scene down here
@@BrandonGross Awesome - you'll find something cool! Then take it to Haulover Inlet 😜😜🌊🌊
There is a minimum clearance under radiant tube heaters…. Take details off the data plate and google it…. I can see you getting a sailboat next and learn to sail would make good viewing.. cheers for now from 🇬🇧
Cool F-150! I’m thinking of buying one and camping it out.
Take her down to Kentucky, Mobile, Gulfport, Biloxi. Live for $400 a month. Best of adventures and luck.
Sounds like a great plan!
Nice truck have lots of fun
Hey man. You mentioned economy. Does your boat burn a gallon a minute or a gallon per engine per minute? Trying to decide outboard or inboard. 200 hp Yamaha outboard burns a litre per minute. Thanks
My boat is one that is gallons per hour, more specifically, one gallon per mile, but only just. The fuel economy is great compared to other boats in the marina I was at, but still pretty terrible 😂
@@BrandonGross Cheers man. Been looking to get something similar in Thailand, but fuel here is $5 per gallon. I'm looking to use it on ocean trips where distances are gonna mean its gonna get expensive. However, many thanks for taking the time to answer. All the best.
Glad to see you coming back towards Florida. I’m curious if you’ll test the difference in the Atlantic and Gulf waters.
That's the plan!
Congratulations on the move, new adventures can always cause a little hesitation. You’ll be fine, meet some new people and gain some new experiences. Here’s to the next chapter!🍺
You seem to be replacing one thing after another (school bus to ambulance to van to boat, to a truck now till you get a smaller boat). That's some investment and a life to live by. I'm sad for you that you can't live that boat life in Pittsburgh? Haha, I'm from Canada, I don't know the state well. However, looking forward to your next adventure in Miami.
I love travelling, and each new experience keeps me going and growing. It's a lot a fun, most of the time, until something breaks 😂 These next adventures are gonna be a lot of fun, glad you're sticking around!!
That is a nice Marina your at with the boat. Where is that at
Those radiant heaters get hot that’s at to close for my comfort
@brandongross @3:05, Can you explain why your boat isn't great for Ocean boating? Only asking because I live in OH and have been looking into Express/Cabin cruiser types to do the liveaboard lifestyle in SC & FL... Seen other boating channels with Sundancers etc doing the same thing. Please answer!
I noticed Sara never came to the boat. Trouble in paradise?
Salmon waves my friend🫲🏻
Why didn’t you bring the boat down the intercostal waterways to SoFla. Thats a great boat to live in down there.
Salmon 🌊🌊
What kind of drone do you have
Why don't you power south to keep lining on the boat? Kinda Dual Residence?
Not the ideal boat for the long distances
Do you still have the minivan? Good luck with ford😅
Just sold the minivan!
Truck is sweet!
sick truck
Did you sell it?
You could’ve towed that down there that’s not oversize atleast you know what you got because you’ve had the boat for a while. but I’m sure everything will work out just be prepared to start fixing somebody else’s problems. for those radiant heaters. Typically u need 8 to 10 foot a space between them in an object I would possibly put some concrete board or metal to reflect the heat away. Good news is you’re at the end of the tube so it shouldn’t be as hot.
The boat is 11' wide on the trailer and 13' 6" tall.. most definitely an oversize load. And I think that those radiant heaters are actually disconnected
Try the dry Tortugas.
Curious why you chose the F150 over a late model 5.7 V8 Tundra?
Brother and dad both have f150's so i just know much more about them than the tundras
You should do the great loop
Just face it dude that boat was a lemon. You made the best of it tho!
All boats are lemons haha. It sat for 11 years with basically no use and then I put over 100 hours on it.
It was bound to have issues but I fixed all the little kinks and got it ironed out!
You don't have to keep the boat there you can move it....
You cud take you're 🚢 boat if you wanted by the river till Florida
So why isn’t it good for ocean boating?
Why go smaller when you have that size boat, plus ya know all the nuances of it already?
Acid in the river ok?
I still think your the Guy in Tracker? 😊
Way to close those things get hot
How much does a boat like yours go for?
$56K
That depends on a million variables but I'd say around 54-60k plus trailer
You headed to FLA?
Dude, you totally should have just brought the boat down with you. Find a place to dock it. And go get it. You can totally run to the Bahamas on your boat....
I don't want I/O's in the salt water. bad combo!
You bought the wrong truck. Should have gotten the 250 and take your boat to FL.
How much does your boat weigh?
11,200 Dry weight I believe
I live in Fort Lauderdale and work in the yachting industry if you need a couple of spots hmu for good anchoring spots sand bars mangrove tunnels fishing spots
Can you help me with buying a 24’ robalo? I need advice!
@@BrandonGross yes sir I’m a first mate and I run a 34 intrepid and a 33 whaler currently I’ve had several boats as well
@ dm me on Instagram! @brandonwgross
@@BrandonGross just sent a dm
I don't think you're supposed to pour that pink Antifreeze directly into your fresh water tank. I believe your tank is now compromised. There should be a hose somewhere near your 12 V pump that you just plop into the bottle and run it through your system and empty all tanks including your hot water tank you also don't want that Antifreeze in your hot water tank.
No. That's exactly how you do it. It's non toxic antifreeze. Every boater does it for storage. You pour it in your tank and run it through the faucets until you see pink coming out.
easiest way to do it…..
I suggest a bigger truck
Come to uk and buy a rodman 1250 there the best boat ever fisher and cruiser series and has Volvo penta IPS
I once said I wouldn't buy another boat lol
did the boat sell yet?
Nope still for sale! Hard to sell a big boat up north in the winter
Move to nor cal. Boating 365
Ewwww ford lol you should’ve bought the damp rid buckets, I’ve used the hanging bags and they leaked.
How much you are going to sell it for 😊
Love your videos. Keep posting please! Also meet up with intoodeep. He know some shit as well. But you gained a follower from me. Love your content!
Thanks! I’ve been talking to Gus actually!
A whole lot of drama for just putting your boat away for winter.
Dude, get a sailboat 😃
Hope you dont go smaller.
ALL I HEAR IS “THIS THING” over and over and over and over. 🤷♀️
Is that your father's truck???
no, its mine!
dudes like 55. Shouldn't he be home with the kids
