I work for inpost warehouse and it helps if people label their parcels please label your parcels 🙏 if you don’t label then it’s okay but it has a risk of getting lost or damaged and won’t make it’d way to the buyer

If I don’t print out an actual label but tape a paper with address, postcode and that on the parcel, is that fine?

The system allows for there to be a 'No Label'. You should not be recommended to attach a label just in case parcel gets lost.
This is admitting the system is not fit or purpose. We should not accept there is failure.
Either fix it or dump I and insist on a label attached.
Maybe it's like Most things when humans are involved, things go wrong... (or go missing from doorsteps when the postie has clicked as delivered... !!)
@@Panaichnisane sorry for such a late reply but when your parcel is lost with no label there’s nothing we can do unfortunately so the managers shove it in a corner and donate it to Salvation Army

u just press send a parcel and u scan ur code directly with ur phone and choose which size u want then u put the parcel in and close it

I am using in post for the first time to send something I sold on Vinted . The buyer has paid for postage and I have a digital label thing that it says I don’t need to print . Do I just put the customers name on the box as I don’t have the address ??? Seems weird ? Haha!

That's the problem I'm having now. Seems weird to send a parcel without an address 😊. I think I'll come off that one, and just use the drop off shop 😊. x

Hi sorry this is late but you don’t get to see an address at all?? So you just get a QR code and scan it? And the delivery person just knows the address and where to deliver it?
hey, inpost lost my parcel, now they conveniently won't answer emails or calls, how do you get a refund and compensation from these criminals , the other parcels i sent took nearly a month to reach their destination , if i catch the pick up driver i'll chin him...or her

I was so confused when I used an inpost locker that it didn't register I had put it in a locker as I took too long. Now it's missing. Vonted however gave me the full amount. Happy days.
Do they always reimburse the full amount if something goes wrong

Was that for the home delivery one though? Cuz I’ve heard the locker to locker one doesn’t but the home delivery one does.
What happened if you have have scan the QR code but put the wrong parcel in by mistake. You do have an address on it. Do they get to deliver on the right address on the parcel or the one you scanned?
Can you send it off with a evri QR code?

They collect from the box you have chosen to deliver the parcel to and take it to the box that the receiver has selected to collect the parcel from - or deliver it to the receiver's home address if that is the receiver's preferred choice. Does that help?

I sold an item on the Vinted app. The shipping company is you "inpost". I chose the Digital label and the file that arrived says I have to print it and paste it on the box. What is the logic of this? If it's digital, why do I have to print it?

I'm not sure if you need help anymore, but the way it works is the seller puts the package in a parcel lock near them, then a delicery man takes it and delivers it to a parcel lock near the buyer, so it's convenient for both.
May I ask you something though? I'm curious, as I have just discovered InPost parcel locks were invented in Poland and are not an internarional thing. I myself, being a Pole, am curious if you ended up using InPost. Is it taking off where you're from?
I'm asking because it's genuinely the only delivery method I use nowadays and so does everyone I know, be it younger or older, in a village or a city. I wonder if it's going to take off internationally since it's such a convenient thing and I had already assumed it did.
If it isn't they must be butchering the advertising / explaining how it works, as the service itself is simple and brilliant, actually life-changing

I'd advise people to stay clear of inpost. They have lost 7 parcels and counting. No real help , they blame their partner ls for their failings.
I've had poor experience of them too
