Ja-Nee Reviews combination I have the same trouble. After I wash my face even with water it gets super dry and tight but when I put on my lotion and sunscreen i Start getting super oily and greasy throughout the day especially during the summer. During the winter my skin is almost normal

Use the matte one for your T zone to have sebum control throughout the day and the hydrating one for the outer areas of the face, those are the ones that usually are dehydrated or dry😁
the hydrating primer with the soft matte foundation is a BANGER also, if you mix the matte and hydrating foundations, I hear that gives you a real skin like finish too
Jack Castillo in natural lighting, look at your veins. If they come off blue you’re a more cool tone. If they’re green you’re more warm. If neither of those seem to appear, you could be neutral or olive toned

The hydrating foundation does contain Grape Seed Oil which is a dry oil type that can absorb to your pores and maintain hydation without leaving greasy layer on top of your skin. In general, grape seed oil is good for all skin type, included oily skin. So, I think the hydrating foundation could be good for oily skin. The key for long lasting makeup is you prep your skin properly, even you oily skin. You can check out about Face Oil on Liah Yoo Channel, she has a good video aboul face oil for all skin categories.
im an oily/combination. the key to a dewy skin look isn't the foundation, it's the setting spray. powders will cover any shine, so you want to use a dewy setting spray. rosewater sprays will also give the effect you want. besides, even if you use a matte foundation, your skin will look dewy after some time.

I have an oily Tzone but I actually love the new hydrating foundation. I just add the translucent powder to my Tzone. I guess it's safe to say they both work for me.😊💕.

If your skin feels tight after you wash it, it’s because your cleanser is so harsh it’s damaging the skin barrier. It has nothing to do with your skin type. 🤦🏽♀️
@@jemmasomething 110 is too pale but 120 is way too orange. I wear 150 and just blend it down my neck. It's not ideal but it's the best undertone match I can get, it's just a bit dark. :)

Question: what if my t-zone is VERY shiny but my skin is tight after washing and is even getting very greasy (almost like scales)? The doctor tells me the skin is oily but why does it feel so tight and dry? It’s confusing.
Tertu Ndokosho you’re skin sounds dehydrated to me. Focus on hydration instead of moisture (yes there’s a difference) and at night try an oil after hydrating your skin to lock in the hydration and to help regulate oil production. Hope this helps.
