Hi, Can you use the Bring Forward and past non-concessional contributions that haven't been fully used? Also, how is the Bring forward triggered, is it something that you need to apply for with the ATO, or is it triggered by simply making the large deposits into your Super?
Hi there! Thanks for your question! Unused non-concessional contributions cap from past years cannot be used. The bring-forward rule is automatically triggered when your contributions exceed the annual non-concessional cap, so there’s no need to apply to the ATO. Just be sure to check your total super balance and eligibility before making the contributions. Hope this helps! 😊
Thank you for the feedback! 😊 I’ll work on pacing the information and numbers more evenly to make it easier to follow. I really appreciate you letting me know!
I am on full age pension age 73, I have no super, have saving about $40 k, Thinking to invest $40k either in a super account or ETFs …. Please guide me the best option thanks
Thanks for your comment! 😊 Unfortunately, I can’t provide advice on specific investments. I’d recommend consulting with a licensed financial adviser who can help you determine the best option based on your circumstances.
Can I use "Superannuation contributions splitting" with my spouse to stay under the $500K cap to maximize my unused contribution cap amounts from previous years
Thanks for your question! Yes, superannuation contributions splitting with your spouse can be an effective strategy to help you stay under the $500K cap and maximize your unused contribution cap amounts from previous years.😊
@OzRuiShi, do you recommend any specific SMSF or Wrap provider. My intention is to invest directly in AU/US ETFs and International Stocks to some extent.
03:10 Under 75* means under 28 days after the end of the month in which once reaches age 75
Another ‘super’ video, explained clear as crystal, thank you!!
Thanks so much for the kind words! I'm glad you found the video clear and helpful. 😊 Stay tuned for more!
Great content Shi. Have you considered making content about recontribution in relation to estate planning?
Thanks for the suggestion! I appreciate it. Content on recontribution and estate planning is definitely in the pipeline. Stay tuned!
