mercury is hosting a party with the sun and sees mars come in, and thinks oh good im ready to square up and settle some beef i have with mars- but gets too caught up standing in the doorway greeting gifts and doing final prep for the party, so by the time merc sees mars again their mood has mellowed and they are happy mars is there bringing some passion to the event :)

Yeah my astrology has been really weird. Mars and Merc are nat conjunct in Gem 7th s.node. Yesterday I was about 150 ft away from a lightning strike while looking directly at the power pole. This happened just after talking to a friend on my phone about plasma energy. Before that I had a lucid dream about talking to a girlfriend who died years ago. She sounded good bur kept fading in and out.

RIP me thinking I can get a lot of my thesis due before beginning August. My mind has been all over the place the past week. I just noticed that since July 20 Mercury has been square my natal sun (which was basically conjunct mars at the time). I’m relieved in one way to consider that this is a bigger thing coming to fruit but also I have no clue how I’m going to deal with it going forward haha. I’ll just have to keep track and see how it goes :) thx

Mercury in Aquarius can be lightning fast...now combine that with Mars. Once I put my mind to a group brainstorming session, the neurons start to fire off like firecrackers and it becomes difficult to not interrupt and talk over others whose mind and speech are slower😂 It's also a good way to alienate others and appear to be a know-it-all. Putting the reins on Mars can be hard!

It helped to confirm the interpretation of that square happening in an Horary chart of a very stressful event happening in August as Mercury (the querent) is dead stopped turning retrograde. So interesting - I've applied for two jobs within the technical field (my MC = Sag, and Mars = tech construction field) so Jupiter- Mars resonates perfectly well with me as "object" for Mercurys inquirements/square in this period. 😊👌 I also love that Chiron forms a sextile/trine to theese placements and a sextile to my Sun at 25 degree in Aquarius. Looks promising for a change of work, also with an uppcoming nodal return, 0 degree Aries. 😊🙏

Does it matter that the first attempt to connect between Merc and Mars, that doesn't happen, would have been a Square and the second one is a Sextile? Was the first connect going to be a negative Merc-Mars connection and the second then becomes a positive one? (I have Merc Square Mars in my natal chart, and I've always understood the square here to be "aggressive words" or "argumentative" --- is that what we avoid by Merc turning retro?)
