BC-05 can take up to 4 weeks to full cure/harden. With the IR cure, it can be driven 24 hours after curing. It's recommended that special care be taken during the first 4 weeks. We apologize for our late response to your message. Hope this helps!
Would you pick BC-04 or BC-05 if you wanted the metallic part of Aventurine Green Metallic on a Porsche to "pop" more and stand out? It's a dark green, almost gray unless out in direct sunlight.
Hi! That’s an awesome color. My pick would be BC04 for metallic paint work. The titanium ingredient in BC04 reflects off the metallic paint work, giving the surface an even higher gloss from the metallic producing which will produce a wild shine! Thank you for the comment! Stay tuned for an example of BC04 on a metallic paint job we will post shortly. 😃
So would it be fair to say if a car with new Modesta ceramic coating gets cleaned at shop who is experienced in using foam-can ph balanced soap, and using the same cleaning methods as the video to clean the Modesta ceramic would be better than the Automic car wash (minus using the additional Modesta products). can other similar products with the sane function be used
Hi! That’s correct. We only recommend modesta maintenance products to maintain Modesta coatings. Any other product(s) could effect the performance and gloss of the coatings membrane.
Absolutely! Although, we have a Modesta client who has been using a new touchless wash in Winter Park/Maitland and the coating actually looks and is performing great. But for the most part, yes, no automatic washes!
@@SuperiorDetailerLLCOrlandowhy not automatic car washes? I use the touchless bays and sometimes the drive thru touchless. Are they bad for the coating?
@@gojog59 Thanks for your comment. Some automatic washes use harsh chemicals that can damage the coating. This is not always the case. We have several Modesta clients who use touchless washes here in Orlando with good outcomes.
How long should the car be kept indoor after Modesta bc-05 is applied ? Can’t find information about curing time anywhere! Your car looks awesome 👏🏻

I love my Modesta coating. Only problem is the cost of these two products. Over $30 bucks each for 2 small bottles!!
Yes, it's expensive. But, not necessary to use regularly after the first 4-6 washes.
Do have to attend class for modesta coating.
Yes, Modesta is installed by certified Modesta installers only.
That’s a lot of wiping. More wiping increases the risk of scratching. Now you’re a pro so I’m sure you’re fine but all of us are not.
Don't take it through an automatic car wash :p
