‘Everything will freeze’ haha that’s funny. The song was derived from a song called flowering night, which I think it’s the original or the remix of another song called nights of nights. Flowering nights is Sakuya’s theme. Sakuya is a character from touhou, a game. Her abilities are to stop, or FREEZE time. Cant tell, but I’m pretty sure the woman in the cover of the song is Sakuya.

UNDEAD CORPORATION made two variations of this song: Flowering Night Fever (280bpm) and Everything will freeze (240bpm)
And yes, it is based on Sakuya's theme "Flowering Night"
Sakuya is a character from Touhou who is the head maid of the Scarlet Devil Mansion. Her unique ability is being able to stop time, so the title fits here.
Many fans had joked on how close it was to the time stopping on the JoJo series

This map has shaped so many old players. I remember 2015 being all about time freeze, image material and airman, and everyones eyes were on the players that could possibly beat them. And many new players looked up to those. I rly miss those times.

Not many people remember back in the day, also Hakurei Reimu had an amazing pass while still banned with 1250 Combo. Doomsday had a great run too that actually surpassed that score if he wouldn’t have failed, by that time, shigetora or Cookiezi started streaming and pulling some pretty good runs even getting close to a 1600 combo by that time. That’s when the other things said in the video happen, great one btw, i really enjoyed the way of storytelling.
Yeah, Doomsday had a failed 1700 combo run, one of the closest runs at that time, showed it on stream once

Its a good video but you forgot to mention the semi competition that sparked between Doomsday and -Hakurei Reimu- (Reimudesu now). Before Reimu got unbanned he got some of the best scores on the map when it was newly ranked.
Yea a lot of people are mentioning that, I couldn’t find anything about reimu (due to him being restricted at the time) but from what I’ve seen now his runs were incredible

This makes me happy it got that much attention as Sakuya is my Favorite Character. This song is about Sakuya Izayoi. She is from the Touhou Project. Her ability is to manipulate Time and Space (Stop, speed up, slow down, Rewind to some extent, expand and shrink space, and literally erase people from anytime line. She is proficient at melee combat and implements that into her Ranged attacks by throwing Sliver Knives, which is her preferred method of attack. It is canon that she individually places every knife she throws and will stop time in the middle of a fight to pick them all up, even though she can summon them magically.
Known as the perfect and elegant Head Maid of the scarlet Devil Mansion, she is fiercely loyal to Remilia Scarlet, a Vampire known as the Scarlet devil.
This is a version of one Of Sakuya's Themes: Flowering Night.

@ayo tebak siapa ngl i may be cracked to say this but i agree, speed is fucking insane but 7 minute deathstreams and jumps is more hype to watch because it gives this feeling of suspense
I just want Cookiezi to comeback and get a 99.5%+ HDHDR FC on it like he said he could, maybe a day after WhiteCat FCs RoR with HDHR. He's my favorite player of all time, his plays are what got me to start playing the game for real (I would only play it before when I had no internet or was downloading a game on steam) and what inspire me to this day, I just hope his hand and his motovation to play the game are better when he comes back.
Edit: Great video, dunno what I was expecting but it was good.
In one of his last streams he had a run that he failed at like 1500 combo... with 100% acc.
Also, he said that the problem is his aim, not his speed or stamina

Man, this was one of those maps that led me to play osu 3 years ago. Seeing Cookiezi playing Dadadadada and Everything Will Freeze felt so unreal I wanted to try the game out myself.

I liked this but I’ve got to say one thing I would change a bit is the jargon. You use a lot of osu jargon and never mention what is halftime or double time. I like to watch videos with my friends via discord and I want to show them osu videos but I would have to explain a lot of jargon to them. If you could preface the jargon before using them it would definitely bring your content further! Loved the video tho, keep it up!
