It's called the *STAGE* because that's what it was called
when Flash was still owned by Macromedia.
I was a big Flash user back then.
If it aint broke - no need to fix it.

They both seem great. But Adobe Animate seems like a big time saver since it can auto generate lip sync, use rigging and other techniques.

Flipaclip now is a $30 yearly subscription or a $6 monthly subscription and has really aggressive roll-over ads. The free version has even fewer features than it did before. Really not worth it imo other than for doodling on the bus or something.
