- Never buy crackers again with this Sourdough discard cracker recipe! They remind me of Mary’s crackers in texture… but I think they taste BETTER! Plus they are super quick to whip together, you can have crackers on your platter in less than 40 minutes! Use up all your discard for these!
Store in an airtight container for 7-10 days.
Freeze in an airtight container for up to 3 months!
Sourdough Discard Cracker ingredients
300g discard
105g seeds of choice
90g AP flour + flour for dusting
30g butter
8g salt
Coarse sea salt for sprinkling
I usually use a no discard method for my starter, but I guess I'll have to start making some!
Hi, I'm brasilian and I never see a dicard method, What it's this? Do you have the recipe?
@@rafaelgiraldello it means that she never has discard left over. She uses up all of her starter and leaves a small amount for the next time she needs to make more.
Buenísimo como todas tus recetas 🙌🏻🙌🏻🙌🏻
Oh yeah baby, I know what I'm baking this weekend - thank you 😊

wow amazing!!
Que imprecionante! Nunca tinha conhecido tantas técnicas iguais a essas! Gostei de todas.
Best! Yummy
enjoyed cooking
where are the full instructions? what temp to bake?
Looks good, I will give these a go.
I use olive oil instead of butter and only 50 grams of discard in my recipe
One little trick if you want more crunchy seeds. Keep them out of the dough until you roll them out. Sprinkle onto dough and roll with a rolling pin. It presses the seeds into the dough and keeps them crunchy ❤

@@rafaelgiraldellosome people make sourdough using a method where you have to take some starter out of your mother jar of starter and replace it with new flour and water, to feed the starter. They do this every few days. The part you take out, to make room for the new flour and water, is called ‘discard’ bc some people throw it away.
This lady, makes crackers out of it. They look wonderful! I hope this helps you understand. Blessings from USA.❤️🇺🇸❤️
@@AlpacaRenee ok, now I understand, thanks.
Very cool; can it be done with whole wheat flour?
