    Thank you very much for taking us on film on this journey on a friendly, small narrow-gauge route 🙏👍
    Such small trains have a unique flair - and because the camera you used at the time didn't have an image stabilizer, you could feel or "see" every jolt when crossing the screwed together tracks 😊
    On a modern line the rail joints would of course be welded!
    Interesting for me to see that on many Japanese branch lines the outgoing switch connections are not set by hand or by a signal box but are "cut open" by the train! These are probably so-called "fallback switches" which fall back into their original position after the train has passed over them - very practical! ☺️
    In my area there was also a narrow-gauge railway with a 750 mm gauge. It was opened to passenger traffic in 1901 and opened up a romantic river valley over around 39 kilometers. But like almost everywhere else in Germany, these small railways were discontinued because they were unprofitable and were usually completely dismantled afterwards. However, the named route was preserved for use as a museum line because of its beauty and has now experienced a renaissance in recent years after operations had to be stopped in 1988 due to track and bridge damage. Now it is being gradually rebuilt by an active museum association 👍🤗

      For many railway fans in Japan, especially those who also make models, Koppel is the most coveted brand. That passion hasn't changed, and it seems to me that it's only gotten stronger now that the idyllic scenery of small locomotives has become a thing of the past.
      There are still some 2-foot, 6-inch gauge railways left in Japan today, but the modern style of rolling stock has made it difficult to remember the scenery of the past.

    I enjoy these local lines more than I do the mainlines. The variety of sights are better, and you get to see a Japan that isn't full of tourists. Rather than the "cookie cutter" architecture along the mainlines, you get to see the wide variety of individual homes, apartments and small businesses, as well as glimpses of the countryside. I also love how green everything is. Thanks for a very interesting video of local railroading.🎉

      Thank you for your comment. Many railways in Japan, especially those in the suburbs of cities, are surrounded by houses. I wish I could see more mountains, creeks, and forests...
      There is such a route, so I am planning to go out to take pictures someday. However, such lines have few stations and are also boring. That balance is difficult.

    Always enjoy seeing urban and suburban rail. Your videos are a glimpse into part of the world most of us will never see.
    Just a suggestion, if your description and titles were in English you may get more views. YT doesn't do instant translations unlike Facebook.

      Thank you for your comment. Recently, people from various countries have started watching my videos. I now feel that it is important to at least include English text somewhere, such as in the title. I'm planning on making more enjoyable videos, so please give me some more hints. thank you.

      @@14ikesan12 using other rail videos as an example, you could for example title them 'Cabview Japan railways: urban rail in Nikaho'.
      Maybe a title card that introduces where we are, it gives context for the video. Perhaps some detail about the type of train we are on if you can find it and little bits of information as we go along.
      It builds an experience for the viewer. Have a look at 'Cabview Holland Dutch Railways' Vincent who is a driver is getting 10k+ views. Ok, you're different, but for many people, Japan is a fascinating country. I do appreciate that editing and building a video is a lot of work. I should spend more time on my own videos but at work my time is limited.

      Thank you for your detailed explanation. I tried using the term "Forward view" in my new film, but I wonder if "Cab view" would be better? This detailed feeling is difficult for foreigners. (^^;)

      @@14ikesan12 I saw that. It's good. It might also be an idea to include hashtags in the description (at the bottom) so that people searching can more easily find your content. Hashtags = keywords. The hard part is thinking like a user, I still haven't got it right myself.
      Of course nothing is guaranteed and it takes time for yt to notice you etc etc.
