- Shooting in the wind is often frustrating but also an important learning tool. Are you practicing properly? More often than not, archers and bowhunters have to deal with the element of wind when shooting outdoors. Understanding the impact wind is having on the drift of your arrow is critical for both target archers and bowhunters so they can compensate according to the strength of the wind. John Dudley will teach you a method for figuring this out without being blow around yourself so you truly know what the wind is doing on the arrow and not on you as the shooter.

Saw your brand on The Terminal List, well deserved sir 👏
Where? I didn't notice it.
@@chuckydicus7919 it's in the intro of every episode. I think it's either Chris Pratt's or Jack Carr's EVO NTN. There's nock on fletched and wrapped aae max stealth vanes in the quiver of the bow hanging on the wall. It looks awesome. Right after they show the pistol.
Saw that!
Before you clarified that you had a cold I just thought you were sniffing your new bow, because we all love that "new bow" smell 😁
Ok yes for figuring out how your arrow reacts to wind, shelter yourself and your bow. What i was wanting to learn is techniques on shooting in the wind thats blowing you all over the place. Im in WY, its part of life here. A video on that would be awesome
Trigger punch.
I live in Reno where there is nothing but wind and sometimes crazy wind. It made me a lot better at waiting for the shot.
Just lost an arrow in the wind came here to John for advice 2023 …
J.D. , what size hex wrench do I need for the Levitate ?
This is not about shooting in the wind
don't you mean 360 degrees?
Beware the barkers nest...
For the limb bolts, sorry
John, I wanted to come to a video where the comments were open. I just watched a video from two years ago, “Bulls and Back Straps with Joe Rogan” where you get a bull elk. I have to say man, you are a class act. To see you pass on a shot that I would guess you could make fairly easily just amped up my respect for you as an ethical hunter. Good on you man. I just spent ten minutes telling my wife how helpful your videos have been for my bow hunting game (61 years old and just coming into my second season ever) and how freakin’ good you are at the sport. Looking forward to getting out this fall for turkeys and deer and enjoying tuning up my equipment in readiness.
🤘🏼
That new set up has tire marks on it crazy!! Lol. Nothing but love bro.
So for beating the wind do you like, lite and fast or heavy and slower for 3D...
Hope nobody comes walking around the corner and catches an arrow with their teeth….
I want to get into making my own arrows but I was just wondering if you can make arrows for 3-D and hunting or do you have to make two separate sets.
Hey dud can you do a video on the x press pro?thanks.
This is great info! You've got to be doing this with broadheads too before the season starts
I saw some fletchings in the “the terminal list”show and I was like… “is it?”
Next episode I saw a Nock On bemchmat… no spoilers but I’m excited to see what’s next!!
