I'm studying with the intent to go into costume design, and though I can only speak for myself, if I were the designer for one of these productions, I wouldn't be bothered. The director's name is always attached to the show to identify it, and from there you can look up the designer. If this was a close look at a particular show or costume, then I would say the designer must be mentioned. Just my opinion though, and a different perspective.
