Chauncey Billups was traded from the Celtics because he didn't get along with the coaching staff not because he was a bad player. Also the Celtics liked trading rookies as they traded Joe Johnson as well.
mason johnson The point that I was making was the Celtics didnt hold on to young players back in the day. Examples are Chauncey, Joe Johnson, Ron Mercer, and Jerome Moiso (although in the Celtics defense Moiso was on a new team every year)
bogut was beasting in milwakee, by far the best player there. he just got injured so bad on that one dunk when he twisted his shoulder or something and after that he never looked like the same player imo
I’m a Mavs fan and have been picking up steam on your videos ever since I saw your “Dirk Nowitzki” facts video. I want to thank you for reminding me of the greatness of Chauncey Billups, I remember watching his career and seeing what he became and what he turned those Pistons team into for years. The way he helped shape the Nuggets into a stronger, more playoff ready team and helped Melo explode into the scene. I absolutely forgot how bad his career started. Thanks for dropping knowledge and providing content I actually want to see and learn from. I appreciate the reminders.
and who can forget about Shaun Livingston? that horrific knee injury he had when he was with the Clippers years ago, who would've thought that he would come back in the NBA and then help golden state win their first title in 40 years?
Main player in this video is CP3 1. Tyson Chandler played with CP3 2. Marvin Williams is drafted before CP3 3. Shaun Livingston played in the same team as CP3 4. Chauncey Billups played with CP3 5. Marcus Camby is only who is not connected with CP3
Actually became a coveted center across the league in terms of a pure center which is crazy considering how he started w Marcus fizer, eddy curry and etc lol
The first half of his career wasn't alright at all as a 2nd overall pick. Before he revived his career with Mavericks, iirc he wasn't even starting on the Charlotte Bobcats.
Keyword: "back". Shaun was already a bust before his injury. He was decent in 06, but nothing impressive. He was outplayed every season in LA by a nearly 40 year-old Sam Cassell. There was no quality level of play for him to get "back" to. This is coming from a long time fan of his.
I'm not sure if Andrew Wiggins should fit in to this list since he never really lived up to his expectations in Minnesota but then revived his career in Golden State and look where he is now an NBA champion in 2022.
I loved Marcus Camby on the Knicks. I thought he was great and thought he was developing into a tremendous player. When we traded him to Denver, I was pissed. Wasn’t surprised at all at the numbers he put up for the Nuggets
Livingston lived in my home town he and my brother were clise friends from 1st grade through high school, hes genuinely a great person he has done so much for this community
Could've put Derrick Favors on here, as he was the third pick in 2010 over players like Cousins, PG13, Hayward, and didn't even average double digits points until 2014
MrShanester117 Yeah, but I mean he averaged 16 PPG and 8 RPG on a Jazz team in 2015-2016 that was a win shy of making the playoffs, and last season he suffered some injuries, and I think those injuries affected the player he is today
He wasn't in my opinion, but he was one of those guys who took a few seasons to bloom, so naturally people got impatient and just called him a bust 2 years in.
Didn’t he make a cameo on the show Martin. Eddie played that guy who aways went through Martins window to eat. One episode he ate martins whole thanksgiving meal.
I feel like Andy doesn’t quite see Livingston’s career the way I do... played his first 3 years with the Clippers and was frequently injured, had the knee injury, missed a couple seasons and returned, had to prove himself once again in the D-league and went from team to team, established himself as a solid starter for the Nets while D-Will was out, and then signed with Golden State and has been a solid backup PG since. In addition: his injury forced him to reinvent his movements, and as a result, has been relatively injury-free since. He never developed into an explosive player, but maybe those expectations were not realistic. He still lacks a 3 point shot but his height allows him to be a good finisher in GS. He’s sort of in the Marvin Williams category as someone who had a solid career but never became a star like people thought
Chauncey was never considered a bust. he had a rough rookie year but his career was never over before it started. Can't use blind stats and speculation as validation without acknowledging context
Before joining the pistons he was seen to have had a mediocre career for where he was picked, viewed as a journeyman and an average starter at best.Relatively low PER and FG% as well. If you were watching basketball in the early 2000s you'd remember how out-of-left-field it was that his career started to take off in detroit.
Yeah, Chauncey looked like he'd become a bust. I mean, teams don't unceremoniously let go of a guy they think will become a star. He didn't become a star until Detroit, which was his fifth team.
mrmacross Your wrong he actually started becoming good when he went to Minnesota Timberwolves that was his break off year and that's how Joe Dumars seen his potential on one day becoming a star future player for the Detroit Pistons and that's why he sign him for a four year contract.
That's why millennials like the guy that posted this video shouldn't be posting videos like this. He was probably 1 years-old when Billups was playing.
You are so wrong about Camby. Yes he struggled in the 50 game regular season but the Knicks as a whole struggled as well, just barely getting into the playoffs as the 8th seed. His resurgence happened in the 99' playoffs. He broke into the rotation and played excellent , helping the Knicks get to the Finals even when Patrick Ewing got injured. He averaged a double double over his next two seasons with the Knicks, those numbers are actually quite comparable to his numbers when he won DPOY later in his career.
Celtics Drafted Billups in 1997 Celtics Drafted Pierce in 1998 Celtics Drafted Joe Johnson in 2001 I wonder how good the Celtics would have been with all 3 of these players in their primes
Livingston is an example of someone that despite being a bust is also one of the biggest miracles in the NBA. He suffered the worst knee injury in the history of the sport, but bounced back and became and integral part to a team that might just go down as a dynasty.
Tyson Chandler also won an Olympic Gold but for an 18-year-old coming from High School playing the Center position for one of the leagues most successful franchises was always going to be hard for immediate success with the Bulls
I think the narrative on Chandler is not quite accurate. Up through 2004-2005, he was still considered a developing player and was given limited play time, coming off the bench. However, as the Bulls finally worked themselves into a playoff team, he was pretty good in 4th quarters (they often showed his and Ben Gordon's 4th quarter stats, as they were around league leaders at their specialties). The Bulls even extended his contract. I think in the next season, he had back issues and didn't make the leap into the type of player they wanted. On top of that, Ben Wallace became available in free agency at the end of that season, and the Bulls obviously pursued Wallace. It was at that point the Bulls decided they didn't want to pay two centers a starting salary and abandoned Chandler. But if you look at Chandler's rate stats, he was solid in his final seasons with Chicago. He just couldn't put up huge numbers playing 26 minutes per game.
I feel like Tyreke Evans and Ricky Rubio are on the verge of this list since both were drafted higher than Stephen Curry and derozan, but haven’t lived up to their hype until this season, they earned some credit. Also not a Jazz/ Orlando fan, but I hope Dante exum and Aaron Gordon can get out of their slump and become key role players because I have a lot hope for the 2014 draft and still do
I might even consider D-Rose to be under this category. During his last seasons in Chicago I’d say many considered his career over after all the injuries but he revived his career years later in Minnesota.
eh, nahh. he wasn't all that great before and leading up to his injury either. Sure, he was improving but with a combination of other injuries and a low efficiency rating, I wouldn't be surprised if the clips were wishing they'd have just drafted devin harris instead.
That's true for a lot of busts. Sam Bowie would have almost certainly been a perennial all-star without his injuries. Greg Oden had the misfortune of being a traditional big man at the advent of small ball, but he would have still been very good had he stayed healthy. The list goes on and on. Injuries are the primary reason guys become busts.
Bogut was on his way to be probably the best 2 way center in the league. He had a solid(if unimaginative) post game, could really pass the ball and was an amazing defender. Then he tore his elbow and whatever could be called a "shot" and "touch" was gone to him. He was still a good finisher and had a awesome feel for the game offensively, but it was never the same.
Still crazy to me that ppl say Lonzo is a bust when he is only 30 games in yes he sucks at shooting but he has improved as of late and not every NBA player WHO IS A ROOKIE is perfect when Jason Kidd played his first 30 or so games he was awful from the field ppl just said he needed to improve that and then he be good no one called him a bust. He is young and yeah LaVar said some dumb stuff but Lonzo looks to have a great future and just cause he struggles shooting AS A ROOKIE does not mean he cant fix that
Youre telling me! Isnt it crazy how people calling Markelle Fultz a bust after 6 games with an injured shooting shoulder. Just wait and see what he will do
lol they called Ben Simmons a bust when he was injured and he did not even play we are so quick to call NBA players bust without realizeing what they might do for a franchise
I think similar to what Jason Kidd said this year EVeryone wants the answer now and we are not willing to wait for these players to develop to see this answer
Jermaine O'Neal is one of the best examples of a guy like this. His first 4 seasons in the league were crap, and he ended up going to 5 or 6 all-star games.
Aeddy35 Its not a revival like that of the guys in the video it was more of a reputation revival as he was called a choker and a looser but after 2013 he was seen as a all time great and winner
Camby should be a hof. Idk what you're talking about him being "solid" his whole career he's one of the best defensive players in NBA history. He was great and if Dennis Rodman made it then so should Camby because they both had great defensive games and were beasts at rebounding
Anyone who played fantasy basketball in the early/mid 2000s knows how crazy productive Marcus Camby was for someone who didn't score a ton. He probably deserved more than one DPOY, although I'd have to check to see who won during that time over him.
Mikami151515 whoever thinks that Lonzo will be a bust is retarded lol. Only bad thing about his rookie year so far is his shooting%, which he will 100% figure out
Im watching a rerun of the team africa vs. team world game and while you were talking about marvin williams, he was getting introduced in the pre game lol
@@StuntmanHari Melo is still productive on the Blazers tf? 15 ppg in the twilight of his career dont make him a bust. It's how it happens when you get old
love that you mentioned Kwame. Dude is considered garbage, cause of Stephen A. and of course underperformed for a first overall player but still was an alright roleplayer...
He came into the league with the identity of a scorer and bad at everything else lol. Showed he can handle the ball and be a playmaker and be above average on D, he didn’t have a bad season last year at all. This year he is picking up his scoring tho
If you have any free time in your schedule, may you please make a just how good was jason kidd because you stated in your just how good was steve nash that he was the best point guard in the mid and later 2000's and I believe that Jason Kidd had a great career and has his own case in that discussion along with other great point guards in that time frame. I know that this comment has nothing to do with this video but I think it would be a interesting topic for a video. Otherwise I think that this was an awesome video.
haha, the bucks were straight cannonfodder in the 90s ... when I tried to name every nba team by heart as a kid, I'd always forget the bucks even existed :D
BiasedRocketsFan 34 I️ wouldn’t be for sure bud, he’s putting up aight numbers but that’s on a trash team and he’s already old for a 2nd year player.... a decent starter/good role player is all he will be which for a 5th pick is pretty much a bust
Ik I might get some hate for saying this but Micheal Beasley is starting to revive his career, yes he didn’t live up to expectations and yes he got traded to multiple teams however he is showing to be a pretty solid backup for the unicorn
We should also mention that it's not so much that these guys were busts, but the NBA is a whole different animal from college. In the NBA, EVERYBODY'S good! Even the last man on the bench can drop 30-40 points in any summer league tournament. And guys like MJ, LeBron, Iverson, Kobe (RIP),, Chris Paul, etc., etc., are SUPER good!
Curry was never considered a bust. He was always one of the most talented young players, runner up for ROY in 2010, 18 ppg on an injury plagued year 2011, then 2013 he became a superstar(his 4th season and 3rd he was injured 2/3 of the year) and 2015 he became a top 5 player and has been ever since.
Marcus camby may have not put up great numbers when in new York but he was instrumental in them reaching the finals during the lockout year. Ewing got hurt and by inserting Camby in the lineup he allowed them to run an up tempo game
MrJerseyboi609 maybe he was trying to pose a question ,as if jabari should be considered a bust, because the video also included the injury prone Shaun Livingston.... I understood him, No offense to Jabari Parker..
Pretty sure Camby is historically known for his performance in the 99 playoffs. Even Larry Bird said he was the reason the knicks got to the finals that year.
Everybody was trying to find the next Kobe at the time. Marvin was a disastrous bust in Atlanta. Livingston, Stromile Swift, etc. All those long athletic guard/forwards never panned out.
Zach Randolph was not a lottery pick (No 19, 2001)but had a very bad two first years in the league and actually he is a very god consolidate interior player also another honorable mention is Chauncey Billups (No 3, 1997), he played for 4 different teams before be a fundamental piece in the Detroit Pistons championship in 2004.
I don’t remember Marvin Williams going #2 but with that being said, he was a borderline bust or a underachiever. He literally has no accolades under his NBA belt.
Omg that Chicago jersey I’m beginning of the video when Tyson played against the magic that’s a crazy throwback must be old Chicago before traditional bulls
My biggest problem with guys going to the NBA from high school is none of them are ever ready to play. You can probably name one or two that did well early but nobody remembers the guys that didn’t make it at all. Even Kobe’s first year was forgettable. They need to expand the G-League for guys to play in prior the NBA.
I am a fan of Chauncey Billups, I'm glad he found a coach and team in Detroit. I was really frustrated when he was in Boston as the coach then was one of the worst legendary college coach to go to the pros and fail epically. The coach tried to implement a defensive system and the offense suffered as Billups had decent talent but was not put in a role utilizing his leadership.
Tyson Chandler injuries played part early in his career, and throughout his career.. Bravo to him for his hardwork, hustle plays.. He had a decent career...
Bogut wasn't aggressive enough. people thought he was Nowitzki not a defensive stud. He had a great jumper in college and was an awesome passer. Those things were still true, he just didn't show them often enough.
Shawn Livingston wasn't a bust, mans knee exploded. He did the best that he could do considering his injury.
That’s what he said in the video
"Knee Exploded." Im sorry but that word choice is funny as hell
By that logic
Oden wasnt a bust also
He was pretty garbage before the injury tho
he's not.
Chauncey Billups was traded from the Celtics because he didn't get along with the coaching staff not because he was a bad player. Also the Celtics liked trading rookies as they traded Joe Johnson as well.
Nak Mor ?
mason johnson The point that I was making was the Celtics didnt hold on to young players back in the day. Examples are Chauncey, Joe Johnson, Ron Mercer, and Jerome Moiso (although in the Celtics defense Moiso was on a new team every year)
I didn’t know I even commented back 😂😂 I couldn’t agree more though
This dude making these videos sounds like he doesn’t know what he’s talking about half the time
pedro gates 100% correct.
Honorable mention for Eric Gordon. After that injury, many people wrote him off, but still is a good player. Plus, he's a 7th pick.
Amazing guard and fits the Houston System well and the 6th man position well
the new jamal crawford
Same with McCollum he was in everyone’s shadow but then after they left he became so good
Injuries derailed his career. He was averaging over twenty on the clippers easily
Victor Oladipo
2001 draft had 3 goats my dude
Kwame Brown - GOAT
Eddy Curry - GOAT
Brian Scalabrine - White Mamba GOAT lord and savior of the nba and of humanity
haha Scalabrine
@MAN UTD fuck u. Man Utd sucks and I don't see ur point CMG to every basketball video and polute it with your idiotic comments. Fuck off!
Ah yes Eddy Curry! The man the Knicks paid millions to eat lemon cakes on the bench
@M Manchester is not red anymore
This dude really said the 2001 draft wasn't really that great smh. That's the year the GOAT Scalabrine was drafted
Clutch The Bear w
Clutch The Bear w

If a draft was (insert any good NBA player here) and 59 Anthony Bennets, how good is that draft?
JD Buckets but the best player in nba history was in that draft
Tyson Chandler with the game winning dunk last night, good timing.
bogut was beasting in milwakee, by far the best player there. he just got injured so bad on that one dunk when he twisted his shoulder or something and after that he never looked like the same player imo
Tyreke Evans is amazing
Avery Bradley’s Son his best year was his first
Avery Bradley’s Son This year he has awesome but before his best season was his first
Reynaldo Campos Tyreke is going to revive his career too, not that it wasn't bad though.
Tyreke is finally healthy and improved his shot hes finally becoming a good player again
Garbage
Chauncey Billups will forever be one of my favorite point guards in the world 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🙏
AliKamaal mine to
Alexkamaal My's to 👍
In his retirement, he's a damn good nba analyst too. I bet he'd be a pretty good coach if he gives it a shot
Me too. He maybe not the best but an example of a great leader and a turn around player, he makes any team look good.
Michael Beasley should be on this list
lmao knicks fan?
AGX Agreed
Justin Simmons yes lol
True, I should've put him. He's been tearing it up
Justin Simmons no dickhead hes averaging more than 15 ppg
I’m a Mavs fan and have been picking up steam on your videos ever since I saw your “Dirk Nowitzki” facts video. I'm damn proud of my boy Shaun Livingston
Nope Mang when he tore all those L's in his knee and came back. Amazing comeback
@@bakgammon for real there was a point were the doctors thought they would have to amputate his leg the injury was so bad. Glad they didn't have to
How the hell do you mention marcus camby but not talk about his time in Portland?
Marvin Williams was my favorite player to draft or trade for in live 05'. Live had him becoming a 99 overall after his first 2 or 3 seasons
Kris Dunn will be the next one to be parts of this list
Doom Marine i guess 16 pts 6 assists and 1.5 steals in his 2nd season is not showing potential (bulls fan btw)
Tbh he never had a chance to show what he was capable of under thibs in his first year so he shouldnt have been considered a bust in the first place
Lol u crazy look at the points he's averaging
Aceballislife22 I think he means his time with the t wolves
Doom Marine yes my city of Chicago is comeing
and who can forget about Shaun Livingston? that horrific knee injury he had when he was with the Clippers years ago, who would've thought that he would come back in the NBA and then help golden state win their first title in 40 years?
Never have seen Williams as a bust, just a very average player throughout his career.
I felt he was a solid player, and IMO high draft picks means a team has a better chance of getting a solid usable player.
If he woulda stayed in UNC till his junior yr atleast, and worked out wit alumns like sheed, VC, Stack, (Jordan) woulda helped
Main player in this video is CP3
1. Tyson Chandler played with CP3
2. Marvin Williams is drafted before CP3
3. Shaun Livingston played in the same team as CP3
4. Chauncey Billups played with CP3
5. Marcus Camby is only who is not connected with CP3
Damn haven't heard of Elton brand since like 06
Dylan Manni darius miles, corey maggette..... old days. They were sad tho
Lol he's in 2k19 lol idk y he's retiered but i saw him even put him on my team
Our new GM in Philly. I like the pick
He's the general manager of the 76ers. You clearly dont know what's going on in sports.
Lift and read this didn’t age well
Chandler was aight though
exactly, that's what he's saying
Consodering his situation at the time i mean they traded an all star pf and in my opinion a better overall individual player than him.
Actually became a coveted center across the league in terms of a pure center which is crazy considering how he started w Marcus fizer, eddy curry and etc lol
Justin Simmons what im saying is he never was a bust
The first half of his career wasn't alright at all as a 2nd overall pick. Before he revived his career with Mavericks, iirc he wasn't even starting on the Charlotte Bobcats.
I think Livingston should not be on the list because he got injured?
injury is not an exemption from bust-dom
Justin Simmons try getting an serious injury and tell me how easy is it to get back playing
Keyword: "back". Shaun was already a bust before his injury. He was decent in 06, but nothing impressive. He was outplayed every season in LA by a nearly 40 year-old Sam Cassell. There was no quality level of play for him to get "back" to. This is coming from a long time fan of his.
Also I hope you didn't mean that comment literally. As though no one can speak on an injury unless they themselves have experienced it.
Justin Simmons well true, I think he would be a better player tho if he did not get injured
I'm not sure if Andrew Wiggins should fit in to this list since he never really lived up to his expectations in Minnesota but then revived his career in Golden State and look where he is now an NBA champion in 2022.

what about Evan Turner? 2nd overall pick...was bad early on but turned out to carve a decent career
Big ol bust
Garbage player . He ate up Portland’s cap space for 3 years
@@maccslim7277 ET had 4 seasons where his ppg average was in double digits. Comparable to Derrick Favors.
Who else thinks Elton Brand is really underrated because he played with the clippers? (He got no exposure)
Diego Ochoa Most definitely. Also if he hadn't got injured he might have played til around 2014-15

"Otto Porter...puts his brain in Otto-Pilot!"
Who’s the fifth hall of famer from 1996, Jermaine O’neal?
Iverson, Kobe, Nash, Ray Allen and possibly either Stojakovic or Ben Wallace (undrafted)
I think Ben Wallace, but i looked it up and saw that Fisher was in that draft. I guess 5 rings might get him there.
Ben Wallace was undrafted though
I would think Jermaine Oneal cuz he made like 6 all star games
Peja deserves to be in the HOF, IMO. His NBA credentials combined with his European ones certainly get him into the Hall.

What about Michael Beasley
Or Buddy Hield?
I feel like Tyreke Evans and Ricky Rubio are on the verge of this list since both were drafted higher than Stephen Curry and derozan, but haven’t lived up to their hype until this season, they earned some credit. Also not a Jazz/ Orlando fan, but I hope Dante exum and Aaron Gordon can get out of their slump and become key role players because I have a lot hope for the 2014 draft and still do
I'm a hawks, falcons, and braves fan... 😭
Damn, must be tough man. Highlight factory hawks were the best hawks. I miss those days. Philips arena attendance is at an all-time low.
Ok
Me too fam me too..
At least ur not a bandwagon
Aleast u got trae young
I might even consider D-Rose to be under this category. During his last seasons in Chicago I’d say many considered his career over after all the injuries but he revived his career years later in Minnesota.
Livingston was only a bust because of his injury
eh, nahh. he wasn't all that great before and leading up to his injury either. Sure, he was improving but with a combination of other injuries and a low efficiency rating, I wouldn't be surprised if the clips were wishing they'd have just drafted devin harris instead.
Completely agree, he had serious potential and still is a key player.
Dont do this to livingston!!!!!!!!!!
Good list. Does prove that some guys just take longer to figure things out. Also, I’m amazed Kwame Brown played for 12 years!
Still crazy to me that ppl say Lonzo is a bust when he is only 30 games in
yes he sucks at shooting but he has improved as of late and not every NBA player WHO IS A ROOKIE is perfect when Jason Kidd played his first 30 or so games he was awful from the field ppl just said he needed to improve that and then he be good no one called him a bust.
He is young and yeah LaVar said some dumb stuff but Lonzo looks to have a great future and just cause he struggles shooting AS A ROOKIE does not mean he cant fix that
LMAO
Youre telling me! Isnt it crazy how people calling Markelle Fultz a bust after 6 games with an injured shooting shoulder. Just wait and see what he will do
lol
they called Ben Simmons a bust when he was injured and he did not even play
we are so quick to call NBA players bust without realizeing what they might do for a franchise
NBA fans are fickle asf
I think similar to what Jason Kidd said this year
EVeryone wants the answer now and we are not willing to wait for these players to develop to see this answer
Jermaine O'Neal is one of the best examples of a guy like this. His first 4 seasons in the league were crap, and he ended up going to 5 or 6 all-star games.
LeBron James revived his career when he went to Miami...
Fax
How To Make Anything Sound Stupid Lebron wasn’t a bust
How To Make Anything Sound Stupid He was a hall of famer before Miami
Aeddy35 Not even top 20 tho. After those 4 years he climed up to like the top 7 all time
Andrei Rusu How tf can you revive an already Hall of Fame career
Aeddy35 Its not a revival like that of the guys in the video it was more of a reputation revival as he was called a choker and a looser but after 2013 he was seen as a all time great and winner
Camby should be a hof. Idk what you're talking about him being "solid" his whole career he's one of the best defensive players in NBA history. He was great and if Dennis Rodman made it then so should Camby because they both had great defensive games and were beasts at rebounding
Tyreke Evans
Agreed
is Tyreke really considered a bust given the historic rookie year he had?
When was Tyreke Evans considered a bust? He won ROTY
Winning roty doesn't exclude you from being a bust, lol. MCW won roty as well.
Tyreke was a bust then this season happened I mean he was good but still he was a bust
Anyone who played fantasy basketball in the early/mid 2000s knows how crazy productive Marcus Camby was for someone who didn't score a ton. He probably deserved more than one DPOY, although I'd have to check to see who won during that time over him.
i miss the og dwill
Nasir Jr. I still don’t understand what happened to him.
All these guys found a team that fitted well with their playing style and blossomed. Sad for the other great players who didn't get a chance like that
Lonzo Ball might make the list
L
Mikami151515 maybe not even in the list 🤔
Mikami151515 whoever thinks that Lonzo will be a bust is retarded lol. Only bad thing about his rookie year so far is his shooting%, which he will 100% figure out
yet another one who doesnt even watch the kid play and jus hates on him because of his loudmouth dad.
He's shooting over 40% from both the field and 3pt in his pass eight games
Shaun Livingston is an inspiration... Guy has absolutely no quit
What about mahmoud abdurrauf?
ruben boumtjie-boumtjie?
tariq abdul-wahad?
Play Retro maybe these players Boumtje-Boumtje, Abdul Rauf, Abdul Wahad should be considered as busts
teeoak I didn't mean it..
I intended to only mention Talal-Abdul Wahad
the names i mentioned are just fun to type, they don't fit in at all in the context of this video lol.
Im watching a rerun of the team africa vs. team world game and while you were talking about marvin williams, he was getting introduced in the pre game lol
NBA Players who were great that became busts
#1 Carmelo Anthony
False
Eldion Jagorin you need to go get checked out
@@StuntmanHari Melo is still productive on the Blazers tf? 15 ppg in the twilight of his career dont make him a bust. It's how it happens when you get old
Nigga I’m disagreeing saying melo isn’t a bust melo , my favorite nba player re read the comment
love that you mentioned Kwame. Dude is considered garbage, cause of Stephen A. and of course underperformed for a first overall player but still was an alright roleplayer...
Brandon Ingram will be here later
Probably, i see him ending up a lot like marvin tbh
....
Ingram improved a lot lately (and with big mins)
He might never get that tag in the first place
He came into the league with the identity of a scorer and bad at everything else lol. Showed he can handle the ball and be a playmaker and be above average on D, he didn’t have a bad season last year at all. This year he is picking up his scoring tho
Ingram is a decent slasher
I don't see Ingram as a bust.
Otherwise I think that this was an awesome video.
kris dunn
MTY.35 he wasn't even in the league long enough to even be a bust on the first place....
haha, the bucks were straight cannonfodder in the 90s ... when I tried to name every nba team by heart as a kid, I'd always forget the bucks even existed :D
Don't let this video make you forget The Jazz blew a 3-0 lead to the Nuggets in the first round of the 2017-18 NBA playoffs
Ok.....
..what...
Marty Coleman they wont play them in the first round
Neither of those teams are making the playoffs so you’re wrong
I think it might be a UA-cam meme like what Mike korzemba did with the grizzles chocking a 3-0 lead in the finals i belive
Livingston is one of those guys that I legitimately look up to. If Livingston can come back from that, I can come back from anything in my life
DAMN
Damn that was some hardcore shade thrown at the end hahaha
Kris Dunn is going to be on this list.
BiasedRocketsFan 34 He was a rookie last year. It's crazy that young players develop over time.
BiasedRocketsFan 34 I️ wouldn’t be for sure bud, he’s putting up aight numbers but that’s on a trash team and he’s already old for a 2nd year player.... a decent starter/good role player is all he will be which for a 5th pick is pretty much a bust
Nick Kosek bro his defense is showing flashes of gary payton
Evan Mendelson too bad the other part of his game is on par with Gary Payton II
MCW has impressed the first two games here with the Rockets. Still skeptical, though..
Ik I might get some hate for saying this but Micheal Beasley is starting to revive his career, yes he didn’t live up to expectations and yes he got traded to multiple teams however he is showing to be a pretty solid backup for the unicorn
13 ppg
The same can be said about Buddy Hield.
@@davej.meister5421 bruh your about four years too late 🤣🤣 I didn’t even know I posted this comment lmao
@@seanrun4228 Sorry I'm that late to your party lol.
Kwame Brown is was a bust, is a bust &forever will be a bust..
He flopped for no reasons
We should also mention that it's not so much that these guys were busts, but the NBA is a whole different animal from college. In the NBA, EVERYBODY'S good! Even the last man on the bench can drop 30-40 points in any summer league tournament. And guys like MJ, LeBron, Iverson, Kobe (RIP),, Chris Paul, etc., etc., are SUPER good!
What about Steph Curry?
Fat Fuck curry avg 17 ppg in his rookie season and he said he wasn't doing anyone outside top 5
Did you skip the first 30 seconds of the video?
He has to be in the top 5 in terms of picks he said and also curry was never bad he was always a good player but became a superstar in the future
Andrew Ma Facts
Marcus camby may have not put up great numbers when in new York but he was instrumental in them reaching the finals during the lockout year. Ewing got hurt and by inserting Camby in the lineup he allowed them to run an up tempo game
Jabari Parker is a bust!
MrJerseyboi609 injuries don't make you a bust. And he was drafted in 2014 and has good stats when healthy. Calm 👇🏾
MrJerseyboi609 maybe he was trying to pose a question ,as if jabari should be considered a bust, because the video also included the injury prone Shaun Livingston....
I understood him, No offense to Jabari Parker..
He’s 20ppg scorer wtf you talking about
mrtrololorific yea but how many total games did he play,he's injury prone
MrJerseyboi609 yes buddy
Holy sh*t I just looked up Marcus Canby and he lives in my town
With Chris Paul’s injuries, Marvin might end up being a productive player longer than CP3. And if that happens you have to give him some credit.
Lol the shot at Bennett at the end tho 😂😂
Tyson Chandler injuries played part early in his career, and throughout his career..
Bravo to him for his hardwork, hustle plays.. He had a decent career...
Bogut wasn't aggressive enough. people thought he was Nowitzki not a defensive stud. He had a great jumper in college and was an awesome passer. Those things were still true, he just didn't show them often enough.
Bulls was loaded. Imagine if they had stucked with brand, artest etc.
Jamal Crawford.
