"Legends". I get it. Which is why you didn't mention Kevin Love or LeBron James; because they wasted so much time with their respective teams, early in their careers. No negative comment from me. Good video, as always.
You should've included the young LeBron. He single handedly carried a terrible Cavs team to the Finals, and had great playoff runs during mid to late 2000's.
I dare say that Jordan wasted his first years on bad teams up until 1988 maybe. LeBron had some bad teams early in Cleveland. Hakeem had some awful teams from 1988 until 1993. A lot of players especially in the 80s had great years but were stuck in bad teams especially given the dominance of the Celtics, Lakers and Sixers at the time.
You know, people would've been saying that Dirk wasted HIS best seasons on the Mavs had they not won the title a little while later. So all of this is very skeptical.

You forgot to mention that prime kobe was also one of the best defenders in the league being in all defensive 1st team while being the best scorer in the league. Which makes it even more infuriating how bad the lakers was in his best scoring seasons.
As far as scoring goes, this fits a lot of superstars. Shaq and MJ are the only players in the last 40 years to win a championship and lead the league in scoring the same season.
I disagree on the term "waste", because it means they could have had a better result if they r elsewhere. However, Paul Pierce, if he didnt stick around, he wont have the championship with big 3, wade would not experienced the best big 3 in history, kobe would not have won his 4th n 5th championship. Their legacy might be ruined if they were anywhere else. Like KD for example, if he "waste" his prime in OKC, he would still have a respectable career. But by him going to warriors, it really meant nothing, n will always be known for escaping. So does lebron, honestly, his championship with heat meant much less compare the one from cavs. So when u say waste, it might just be necessary downfall for future success. In my definition, i feel the team needs to be very bad, n contiue to be bad to be considered waste, like the rst of the playerson the list
If someone is winning, someone is losing, and only 15 players are going to win a ring every year, usually only 2 to 3 of them are all-stars. A lot of wins and rings are going to average players. Are those rings wasted? If "wasting talent" is such a terrible thing then they should make the all-star game the final, so rings are only going to great players, and less talent would be "wasted".
Personally another legend you left was The Mailman Karl Malone I know there was Stockton, Hornaceck but overall Jazz wasn't a good team as people expected it to be , Malone another best big man ,MVP went to the final to lose to MJ and the Bulls if he had descent help he would have won a ring my thoughts 😎🏀
Those 2 rings he lost to the bulls he had a pretty good team they just weren’t as good as the bulls. Boban is wasting his prime in Dallas with Luka & KP :D
Micheal Jordan on the wizards 🧙♂️. Although m j made the team better and Jordan put up respectable numbers for his age 👈🙌🤙😎
The vid is about players who wasted their 'best years' on bad teams. Prime seasons. Jordan at ages 38 & 39 is far removed from his prime.
only og’s remember onyx d wade from 2k15
2k15 was yesterday bro
You forgot to mention that prime kobe was also one of the best defenders in the league being in all defensive 1st team while being the best scorer in the league.
Which makes it even more infuriating how bad the lakers was in his best scoring seasons.
Oscar Robertson?
As far as scoring goes, this fits a lot of superstars. Shaq and MJ are the only players in the last 40 years to win a championship and lead the league in scoring the same season.
Where’s lebron? He wasted 6yrs in cavs carrying trash players 2004-2010😂
I dont really think Kobe should be on this list, He won 5 rings
But his best individual seasons were clearly in 2004-2007 which he had bad teams
I would also say LeBron would have been on this list as well, he’s mostly wasted his best seasons with the Cavs.
For as good as Karl Malone was and I rank him behind only Tim Duncan his career turnovers are in the top 5 of all players of all time that’s a lot for a power forward the guys ahead of him are all point guards
The knicks in the NBA
I actually searched the topic to see if Dwyane Wade is mentioned. 2009 D-Wade is underrated.
2009 was the best individual season to watch. Lebron, Wade, Kobe, Dwight, Dirk, Melo and Bosh had incredible seasons.
