I believe the reason for the boot looping is because when the phone boots up, the phone tries to get in contact with the chips and sensors. When the chip disconnects with the phone, the phone tries to get in contact with the chip, but the chip doesn’t respond. The phone then waits for a response, but it never comes. I had to replace the earpiece in a cheap eBay phone, which kept bootlooping until I replaced the assembly. I believe that is what happens, but I might be wrong.
Kyan2000 True, it’s mainly caused by a major communication failure in the phone’s logic board and processing chips. It can be trigger more easily when you’re doing a restore in iTunes. I had an iPhone 7 that did the same and so it was replaced by Apple and put it under the repair program and gave it a 3-month warranty. This is usually do with the iPhone 7’s that had “loop-disease” as they’re simply defective units. ;/
It should be iBSS which checks all components are in place iirc. That’s also why when an iPhone doesn’t have a battery, the Apple logo shows but the phone will keep bootlooping until there is a battery.
Return JJ and if it even gets past iBoot, iOS will begin to load kext files and most likely hang on waiting for a controller then either try again or time out then rebooting.
iPhone 7's and 8's require a functioning home button to boot properly. Alternatively a broken proximity sensor can cause it to delay the boot process or not boot at all. All of the symptoms you are describing could be the proximity sensor or touch Id sensor malfunctioning.
I bought a 32gb Iphone SE from Best Buy two months ago. I only got it because it was $150 (downside is it is locked to a network) I didn’t care about that as I was only using it as a iPod for work. Anyways, I took it an apple store for WiFi issues. And come to find out, the touch of the screen was bad. Kept failing their diagnostic test. They sent it out for repair and ended up just replacing the whole phone. The best part. The new one they give me isn’t locked to a network.
I have a product red Iphone 7 plus 128gb and 3 months into my ownership of the phone it started getting these exact same symptoms (coincidentally a few days after i watched this video) so i used these steps and contacted apple, i mentioned loop disease and how many 7’s are affected by it but of course they denied ever knowing about it so they just asked me to take it to my nearest apple authorised dealer to send it to them so i did just that and little over a week and a half later i got a message saying that my phone was ready for pick up, walked in the store and got handed a brand new device in the plastic. without this video i wouldn’t of known how to go about the situation and would of ended up spending money on a new device which would of been unnecessary. so i just wanted to say thank you for this quality video and saving me a bunch of money, definitely earned a new subscriber 👍🏽
NASHY Grier finally someone who recently has this problem! I recently “broke” my phone a few days ago, and it’s comforting to hear that apple either give u a brand new phone or repair it for free, but those comments were from a year ago! Same phone I had, my audio ic chip disconnected in June 2017, followed by a baseband IC disconnect in February of this year. I finally gave up on the 7 and gave the working replacement to my mom. I switched to an X, and to be honest, I love the phone, but I kind of miss my 7
I’ve had my iPhone 7 since the year it released (4 years now), and it just today fell victim to this. It’s been through a lot and honestly I had no plans to replace it any time soon, so this is really disappointing. RIP
Go Clunker you'll be ok. I just got my 6S refurbished the other day with a new screen and a new battery. It's jailbroken on iOS 12.4 and it's wonderful. Easily will be usable until my upgrade is due in July. Will probably wait until September for Apple to show off the new iPhones and then decide what I want to upgrade to from this 6S. Whatever it is, it's not gonna have a headphone jack 😭
I’m also in a 6s plus, but mine, well, is actually very faulty. I mean its an old phone, but still. My loudspeaker doesnt work, the battery had to be replaced 2 times already, the charging port also needed to be replaced, the phone sometimes just randomly restarts while taking screenshots, and many more small issues. But i mean i’m just like attached to this phone. I love it, but at the same time i hate it. :)
If this was Apple in the US, they would've probably inspected the phone and charged you for the aftermarket parts. I also sent a 7 away and used all used OEM parts including the adhesive for water resistance so that Apple could service it. In the end, I got the phone fixed for free!
Please note that Apple DOES allow for aftermarket parts like the display, camera, speakers. However.. if you have replaced the dock connector, battery, button cables or taptic engine Apple will most likely deny ANY service. If you get a quote for replacement if you have replaced one of these parts, you’d be considered lucky.
my brother had the loop disease symptoms, took it into apple, and they told him to update his phone to the lastest ios version. he did that and it still didn’t work. he took it back again and they simply said they can’t to anything about it and he needs to buy a new phone. took it to a repair shop and got it fixed. apple in north america sucks bro
The lastest ioS update is the reason my shit stopped working completely! Granted I bought it used from my phone company and it started showing small symptoms of loop disease, (Which i didn't know until after the fact) but that problem was easily fixed by restarting my phone. I updated to the newer ioS version and shortly afterwards my sound cut out in the middle of me sending a snapchat video. I started to give up but I refused to buy a unused new phone from my phone company or apple again. I couldn't deal with it anymore and decided to make an appointment and get some price quotes at a repair shop.
Thanks for this video man, I work for a refurbishing shop, and we have now 4 phones with these exact issues. We googled it, but when I saw you mention Loop disease, it cleared a lot up. I dont know yet if we are going to perform boards repairs or not, but this video made our situation a whole lot easier, thanks mate!
In the USA, Apple WILL NOT Service or touch ANY device with aftermarket parts like the screen. Please mention that in your video, since this WILL NOT WORK IN THE USA.
Sonicc the Hedgehog, that is no longer correct. My IPhone 6 has an aftermarket screen (I purchased refurbished on EBay) and I had Apple change the battery. The Apple genius told me it was aftermarket and they still changed the battery. The transaction took place in December 2018 so it might be a new policy.
Hi Hugh! I've been watching for a few months now and you inspired me to buy several iPhones myself! I've recently picked up a iPhone 6 for £27 that has a rather random boot loop that has gotten me clueless. Whenever it is on charge it will go into a boot loop that you cannot get the phone out of. However when the device is off charge and it still boot loops but when it reaches the apple logo you can hit the phone off a desk three times and the device will boot up as normal. Once booted, the device will show battery percentage for well over 10 seconds before correcting itself to the correct value. And also if you try and unlock the phone immediately after it has booted it will freeze and then proceed to boot loop once again. Once you do eventually get the phone booted and unlocked it works like any iPhone should. Battery has a total capacity of 93% and supporting normal performance. Any advice from yourself or anyone in the comments with experience with this issue who can point me in the right direction would be greatly appreciated!
Thank you for making this video, my phone has had loop disease for a while but I didn’t know loop disease was a thing. So I was watching videos then saw this and realized I had it. Hopefully I can get it fixed or get a replacement soon
hi there, i have an original Iphone 2G here, with what can only be described as pixel rot, where some whole lines of the LCD are greyed out, and some individual pixels near these lines are also greyed out. I'm happy to send it to you so that you can do a video on the 2G. I'm also in Australia, so please send me a PM if you like.........oh...and i love the videos......keep it up!
I have the same problem with mine! I paid extra for an example without dead pixels and what happens a week after it arrived? Pixels die! I have been looking for a replacement screen...tell me if you have any luck.
Boot looping is caused by the audio chip cracking the ball solder joints under it. More, the main board solder ball detaches from the board. The boot up keeps trying to initialize the chip, but can’t finish because the CPU can’t talk to the audio chip. iPad Rehab YT channel has many boot loop videos and Jessa is an expert board level repairer and her videos are very good. The iPhone mainboard is rigidly mounted to the case and there is a flex point if the phone case is bent. That’s why the solder balls break under the audio chip. Great video. Thanks!!
For some reason I never saw this video back when it would have been relevant to me, unfortunately my iPhone 7 that I had suffered from this issue and Apple would *not* replace it for me out of warranty, so I ended up getting an iPhone 8 which lasted me for several years until recently replacing it with the 2022 SE.
I got an iPhone 7plus and it got affected after that I got another iPhone 7 and another and another so in total 4 and all where afected and apple refused to help or replace it and so I just had to live with it lol so I had to Cary my old iPhone which was a 6 to make calls and recordé video exetera
This is caused by a bad Audio IC control chip on the motherboard, which isn’t easy to fix. The 6 Plus has a similar board issue where the touchscreen often will stop working
I had the same problem. I went to the apple store he said they couldn't fix it but apple could buy my phone back for 200 CAD and i can buy a new one for 600-200 =400 CAD. I decide that would not happen and went to my local shop to fix it and they charged me 150 CAD. This is totally wrong they should not say bullshit and actually do something
It's very unlikely but you never no. But don't buy an iPhone yet because the new ones coming next month, so that means all the older iPhone's value/price drop even more next month.
The iPhone 7 & 7 Plus models had issues and they were very annoying, mine started having in a way that I never experienced before or after the 7, in fact i recently got a 6s Plus and realised it works better than my 7 did and a very interesting thing is that iOS 16 didn't come to the iPhone 7 so currently the 6s and 7 run the same iOS15.8 software which tells me that Apple wanted the 7 phased out faster than they usually would. Apple really had a bad 2 years because the iPhone X launched with an issue where the screen would randomly become unresponsive and even the Apple stores couldn't fix it.
Hey Hugh, I have been experiencing this problem for about three months now. since I bought the phone first when it came out I thought Apple wouldn't replace it so I wanted to know if Apple would replace it in 2020 since they don't sell iPhone 7's anymore..... pl: I haven't changed any hardware part yet
Does Apple still do replacements, mines been getting worse over time and Definitely won’t be buying another throw away iPhone, my phone can’t even make calls no more and I can’t even listen to music
Please enter a name. Finally someone who recently got the problem! Today my phone started to show several symptoms of loop disease, and I’m wondering the same thing! Does apple still care?
So I had a phone with loop disease and I noticed all the symptoms, so I just kept rebooting it every time it was happening, and now it works perfectly fine
L smith oh gosh... this is why I prefer android. Most companies actually care about the customers unlike Apple. Hopefully nothing happens to your 8 mate!
i just folded up a piece of paper (like from a carton box for cigarettes) and put double sided tape on the audio IC part, and put the stand-off screws back in, and my microphone, earpiece, and headphones started working again.
Did you just 1. open and lift up the screen and put a piece of paper/ support or 2. removed the entire logic board and put a support on the chip? Also, does your microphone still function ?
My iPhone SE was doing this, I went to my settings and tried to reset it but every time I pressed the button, it would dim but not do anything, I kept trying and finally I got it to fully reset but when it turned on, it was stuck on the Apple logo, to this day I have an iPhone se that’s stuck turning on, I never jailbroke it it anything.
another issue with the 7 is that some of them have a software defect that doesn’t allow you to use your sim card and gives you the searching/ no service error. it was annoying as all hell but than i got it repaired gave it to my younger sister and than bought myself the 11
@@thiefrules actually around the time of this comment there was a software issue causing the bad baseband symptoms. I had it happen first on my iPhone XR then most other devices on the same iCloud account would have the same issue. It spread to an iPhone 4S, 5, 6S+ and a 12 Pro Max later on. I did not restore from a backup on these devices but they were simply on the same account and it caused the issue. The Apple diagnostics couldn't detect any problems with it and none of the support people had seen anything like it before. I still use that same iCloud account and the issue hasn't reappeared since 2021 although it was very infuriating.
I got loop disease on my iPhone 7 constantly, the best way to fix it for me was to plug it in and put the charger in and out of the phone over and over. Got so bad tho that I had to get a new phone
I know this is an old video but I need help! I have a iPhone 7 with loop disease and it isn’t at the point yet where it’s in the boot loop but the microphone doesn’t work and it has all the other symptoms. Should I still take it to apple and try get a new one?
Its causes a boot loop because iOS 11 and later runs a full hardware check before allowing the device to proceed to a booted state. When the AudioIC is not returning any value to this check, or is sending back incomplete data (like if it were damaged or disconnected from the board) then iOS 11 will continue to wait for a response until the system request times out. This is why loop disease is less common on iOS 10
Hello! I saw this video and i have the exact same issue. But when i handed the phone over and after some chat with apple support, they wanted me to pay 4000 SEK (~400 Dollars) for an replacement device. The apple support told me that they never heard about this issue and denied the fact that this issue exist. Well i hope i could get a replacement like you in the future... :(
i have a problem on my iphone 7 where whenever i connect my lightning to headphone adapter and connect my headphones the phone doesnt recognize them and plays music from the speakers even though when i charge my phone theres no problem and i have no issue with voice memos or siri or anything thats displayed above so is it still an audio ic problem?
The iPhone 7 at boot will scan the system for sensors and do a official hardware test. If it fails the device will malfunction or won't boot. This is not intended to cause a bug but is a security feature to prevent hardware tampering. A good example of this hardware tampering prevention is the touch ID button being locked with its original iPhone so you cannot replace the old one. Since there are solder issues with the chip the device cannot register the sensors properly so the kernel disables them but if the componet is essential and fails the iPhone can kernel panic and lock up. Like most issues Apple was probably aware of this before launch.
Hey Hugh! Quick question: I got a new screen for my 4S on 6.1.3. After installing the new screen, I cannot use it with my finger however i can use physical buttons and see the screen. What is this?
Help me my iphone 7 plus jet blak is not under waranty and it has loop disis but apple wont change it for free they say that they can only change it if it is under warenty but whyyyy any helpppp plzzzz
He buys a lot from ebay, he gets refurbished screens, which is an apple original display with the glass replaced on it, but he has bought from amazon and iFixit as well.
I sold a iPhone 7 on eBay that I used everyday. The person that bought the phone sent it back immediately saying the phone was stuck at the Apple logo. I was confused but accepted the return and gave the buyer a refund. All I could think was I used this phone everyday. I Searched UA-cam "iPhone 7 stuck at Apple Logo. I found out that I had to use iTunes to redownload the original software to get it to boot completely.
If it's icloud unlocked you will get hard time to unlock it, if you need a new motherboard, if you can change your data chip from the motherboard or sometimes apple's server get crazy and for the first time (about 5-8 month ago) a bug was found and you were able to unlock it
i dont know whats wrong with apple these days. in my phone side my 6 started freaking out like extremely buggy and slow. Apple refused to help in anyway because i bought it from UK. I switched to Huawei P20 Lite and i'm happy with it. but in my iPad it drives me crazy. My network connection always had problems only on my iPad. But interestingly after deleting all the network configurations it gets normal. Dock starts freaking out. After my ipad gets broken i'm going to had it replaced with an android tablets. I think android gets better in every way everyday but apple does opposite with iOS these days.
Dedmaw5 he never said it was Samsung he said android, and if it's a Lenovo tablet or Samsung then the support is actually really good in the UK, especially if you get it from Curry's pc world
all android tablets are still gonna be unsupported. they are gonna kill them with the android new update called "android pie". And the newest samsung tablet coming out is supported by a 2 year old cpu "snapdragon 835" the opinionated phrase is debunked "I think android gets better in everyway everyday" while Samsung S6 is no longer supported while the iPhone 6 is still getting updates.
What I'm thinking: The boot loop may be caused by a system driver (aka an audio controller kext that is required) is unable to communicate with the system and thus freezes the system waiting for the device to communicate but then times out then reboots, This also happens on macOS with any kext...
my iphone 7 i got from ebay was listed as brand new and worked for a week and then it had loop disease. i believe it happened when i plugged a pair of headphones in it started trying to turn off and was out of control. now ive sent it back and am buying an iphone 8
My iPhone 7 had the same issue but the front cam went out then the loop disease happened. I got it replaced at a apple store and the front cam died again and now the wifi and bluetooth dont work My friend had the same one with iOS 10 and it had the same issue so its not just iOS 11 its the actual phone hardware
Also restoring a iPhone backup and/or restoring iOS in iTunes makes it work a little then issues occur again, also my current iPhone 7 is starting to show signs cause when i send a message the mic on the keyboard grays out sometimes Also like ur videos hugh
i think for me its the connector that went out and then loop started, i can confirm its not the update because i hadn't updated since 2017 hehe i think i have ios 10 still
This same thing happened to my iPhone 7 and when I went to an Apple Store to see if I could get it fixed, they told me I'd have to replace the iPhone for $250 or buy a new iPhone for $200 off. I decided that the best way was to purchase a brand new phone so I waited for the upcoming release of the XS Max and purchased it. If I had seen this video, then I would have saved a lot of money instead of spending over $1k on a XS Max. I searched everywhere for the symptoms of my 7 and never knew the name of this issue until today!
Man mine started doing it. It goes into the boot loop for like 10 minutes before starting, can’t use anything other than Bluetooth headphones, mic and earpiece speaker don’t work, and the cellular modem has recently stopped working
Kyan2005 you are pretty much correct

iPad Rehab YT channel has many boot loop videos and Jessa is an expert board level repairer and her videos are very good. The iPhone mainboard is rigidly mounted to the case and there is a flex point if the phone case is bent. That’s why the solder balls break under the audio chip.
Great video. Thanks!!
Harry McDow so it’s caused by the phone bending?
Nice video keep up the good work!!!
Awesome video Hugh and also thanks for showing us your video music names
What do you tell Apple on how to get it replaced
Using my iPhone seven plus that has loop disease you literally just diagnosed my phone thanks 🙏
What a great video love your vids thanks for letting me know.
Also Hugh do you have snap chat
For some reason I never saw this video back when it would have been relevant to me, unfortunately my iPhone 7 that I had suffered from this issue and Apple would *not* replace it for me out of warranty, so I ended up getting an iPhone 8 which lasted me for several years until recently replacing it with the 2022 SE.
My phone was affected
Daniel To
Same thing happened to me. Didn’t buy a new phone either. Apple should have fixed our phones!
new camera? quality is great. keep up the good work!
What a deal!
Thanks
Hugh Jeffeys
When you buy an iPhone 7 in 2019 doest it still have the loop disease or is it fixed? Please answer
It's very unlikely but you never no. But don't buy an iPhone yet because the new ones coming next month, so that means all the older iPhone's value/price drop even more next month.
Yh
Mine does
The iPhone 7 & 7 Plus models had issues and they were very annoying, mine started having in a way that I never experienced before or after the 7, in fact i recently got a 6s Plus and realised it works better than my 7 did and a very interesting thing is that iOS 16 didn't come to the iPhone 7 so currently the 6s and 7 run the same iOS15.8 software which tells me that Apple wanted the 7 phased out faster than they usually would.
MKEN same man
Did you figure it out?
Yup my iPhone 7 has these exact symptoms
You are so cool keep up the work
Nice video I am also watching on an iPhone 7
Does Apple still do replacements, mines been getting worse over time and Definitely won’t be buying another throw away iPhone, my phone can’t even make calls no more and I can’t even listen to music
Please enter a name. Finally someone who recently got the problem! Today my phone started to show several symptoms of loop disease, and I’m wondering the same thing! Does apple still care?
burning burgundy Well in short no they do not. Apple is a complete money hungry corporation.
Please enter a name. True, but some people told me that their phone was completely replaced by apple soo 🤷♀️. Did u get ur iPhone fixed?
burning burgundy Nope
It's worth a shot
So I had a phone with loop disease and I noticed all the symptoms, so I just kept rebooting it every time it was happening, and now it works perfectly fine
Dude I got it replaced twice and both of the phones had loop disease
Did you get it replaced in 2019? when apple didn't sell iPhone 7's anymore?
Oooof I feel bad man... did they replace it again???
MKEN no 2018
miniPodPlayz Nope had to get a 8
L smith oh gosh... this is why I prefer android. Most companies actually care about the customers unlike Apple. Hopefully nothing happens to your 8 mate!
Great videos dude!! I want more restoration ones :3
i just folded up a piece of paper (like from a carton box for cigarettes) and put double sided tape on the audio IC part, and put the stand-off screws back in, and my microphone, earpiece, and headphones started working again.
But did the phone?
a. UserOfName .a hhh , 2 months later, and my microphone and headphones still work.
Did you just
1. open and lift up the screen and put a piece of paper/ support
or
2. removed the entire logic board and put a support on the chip?
Also, does your microphone still function ?
Another amazing video like always!
The Flip you can get stuck in a bootloop if you reset all settings with a jailbreak or attempted to jailbreak then reset all
Pig but mine was never jail broken, I still have it and it’s still stuck on the white apple logo
another issue with the 7 is that some of them have a software defect that doesn’t allow you to use your sim card and gives you the searching/ no service error. it was annoying as all hell but than i got it repaired gave it to my younger sister and than bought myself the 11
that’s not software. that’s baseband IC disease
thiefrules Ah, thank you for correcting me.
Is the front camera not working a symptom and restarting it supper long I didn't really understand because my sister has those problems
I got loop disease on my iPhone 7 constantly, the best way to fix it for me was to plug it in and put the charger in and out of the phone over and over. Got so bad tho that I had to get a new phone
this is all caused by the audio ic chip coming loose with the solder balls. it costs around £50 to have a professional reball the chup
he literally said that
Whoa! This is the first time I found out that the "home button" is actually removable
I know this is an old video but I need help! I have a iPhone 7 with loop disease and it isn’t at the point yet where it’s in the boot loop but the microphone doesn’t work and it has all the other symptoms. Should I still take it to apple and try get a new one?
Cohen Jurovich i got exact the same thing going here, very frustrating
Nice repair as always
how did you kick it out of the bootloop? n how long did it take?
my phone is currently stuck in a bootloop
Did you fix it?
I went to apple and isnt free for me to get a replacement iPhone.... Im so sad... what should I do? :c
OMG!! I had this same problem!! I am now on my 3rd iphone 7 that has had this happen
After making this video expect Apple to to say 'No' to you in future returns of iPhone or iPads.
can you do an iPhone 8plus repair please ?
mine is water damaged
Jay -Sup tomate cru
Bror dom stjäler pengar så enkelt ifrån oss like 4 tusen men man hittar en full fungerande för 3 tusen
Du nice det är faktiskt 427.94 dollar
question, why did you bother replacing the screen if they were going to send you a new one anyway?
i have a problem on my iphone 7 where whenever i connect my lightning to headphone adapter and connect my headphones the phone doesnt recognize them and plays music from the speakers even though when i charge my phone theres no problem and i have no issue with voice memos or siri or anything thats displayed above so is it still an audio ic problem?
konstxntinos might be a problem with the headphones, I would try different ones
Did Apple update the your iOS when they replaced the screen?
its called the audfo ic going out on the phone bro
Yep they said that it was out of my warranty, but It shouldn't have to be on a warranty considering it was a defect. The cost: $300 to replace it.q
Great video dude
Hey Hugh! Quick question: I got a new screen for my 4S on 6.1.3. After installing the new screen, I cannot use it with my finger however i can use physical buttons and see the screen. What is this?
iMuseum looks the touch digitizer is not working.
Check if connectors are seated properly
iMuseum the real question is.. why are u using a 4s in 2018
Verquenzy why using an iphone x in 2073
iMuseum have you tried turning it back on and off?
Help me my iphone 7 plus jet blak is not under waranty and it has loop disis but apple wont change it for free they say that they can only change it if it is under warenty but whyyyy any helpppp plzzzz

I have a iPhone 7 that gets boot loops on iOS 13 beta is that the phone or the iOS
if someone could link me where he buys his supplies like from batteries to screens etc please, would be much likely appreciated
He buys a lot from ebay, he gets refurbished screens, which is an apple original display with the glass replaced on it, but he has bought from amazon and iFixit as well.
ifixit
@@Jorti1boomboxvideos yes thank you for the reply but ive found about ifixit later after watching this video!
@@TheInkyCraft wow you actually saw this! I'm shocked.
@@Jorti1boomboxvideos haha, mobile YT notifications
You're a legend dude 😭 I hope it's not late to have a replacement for my 6 plus 😭

Hugh thanks my 7 I bought to repair has loop disease
Good Video
This is why I never put my phone (or rather any phone I have ever owned) in my pocket.
Question, as if you’ll even see this, but will they still replace it? Like current date. For awhile now I’ve thought it was the gray speaker bug…
Dr. Dank I’m going to go to an Apple store tomorrow to take my 7, I’ll let you know.
Thanks for the video - but why did you have to repair the screen before sending it off?
i saw a iphone 7 with locked icloud or whatever its called.. its pretty cheap and in good condition.. is there some way to unlock it for free?
If it's icloud unlocked you will get hard time to unlock it, if you need a new motherboard, if you can change your data chip from the motherboard or sometimes apple's server get crazy and for the first time (about 5-8 month ago) a bug was found and you were able to unlock it
sorry for my bad english
Yann Donnard okay thanks
This happens to my iPhone too. Exactly the same symptoms as you have.
i dont know whats wrong with apple these days. in my phone side my 6 started freaking out like extremely buggy and slow.
Have fun having no support in your samsung tablets. And your iPad was probably an iPad 3
Dedmaw5 my iPad is iPad Pro 10.5 and Roms are everywhere!
Daniel G very strange that all of the things that i wrote was happened
Dedmaw5 he never said it was Samsung he said android, and if it's a Lenovo tablet or Samsung then the support is actually really good in the UK, especially if you get it from Curry's pc world
all android tablets are still gonna be unsupported. they are gonna kill them with the android new update called "android pie". And the newest samsung tablet coming out is supported by a 2 year old cpu "snapdragon 835"
the opinionated phrase is debunked "I think android gets better in everyway everyday" while Samsung S6 is no longer supported while the iPhone 6 is still getting updates.
I’ve restored an iPhone 1st gen, 3g, and 3GS. All of which have the hardest mute switch repair
What I'm thinking:
The boot loop may be caused by a system driver (aka an audio controller kext that is required) is unable to communicate with the system and thus freezes the system waiting for the device to communicate but then times out then reboots, This also happens on macOS with any kext...
That’s a very smart way of thinking about it

That’s basically what he said in the video
my iphone 7 i got from ebay was listed as brand new and worked for a week and then it had loop disease. i believe it happened when i plugged a pair of headphones in it started trying to turn off and was out of control. now ive sent it back and am buying an iphone 8
My iPhone 7 had the same issue but the front cam went out then the loop disease happened. I got it replaced at a apple store and the front cam died again and now the wifi and bluetooth dont work
My friend had the same one with iOS 10 and it had the same issue so its not just iOS 11 its the actual phone hardware
If ur lucky you can get some functionallity from it for a few minutes til the mic dies
Also restoring a iPhone backup and/or restoring iOS in iTunes makes it work a little then issues occur again, also my current iPhone 7 is starting to show signs cause when i send a message the mic on the keyboard grays out sometimes
Also like ur videos hugh
Just fucking alarm on
i think for me its the connector that went out and then loop started, i can confirm its not the update because i hadn't updated since 2017 hehe i think i have ios 10 still
This same thing happened to my iPhone 7 and when I went to an Apple Store to see if I could get it fixed, they told me I'd have to replace the iPhone for $250 or buy a new iPhone for $200 off.
But it wouldn't have mattered bc they still would've wanted you to pay by the sounds of it
"Iphone is durable"
durable not a nokia brick
Man mine started doing it. It goes into the boot loop for like 10 minutes before starting, can’t use anything other than Bluetooth headphones, mic and earpiece speaker don’t work, and the cellular modem has recently stopped working
I just got a 7+ fully working for $30
