This is absolute gold and so nice you featured my custom Rob. Thank You 😌
Nicola would have loved them both and no doubt she would've given them pride of place.
Glad you appreciated the cars I donated and nice to hear the children enjoyed the ones they get to play with.
I'm really lucky that I have found a wonderfully supportive partner during the latter half of 2020 & she understands my little hobby I've been into this last 47 years or so.....
I'm glad you like them mate 🙂
Praying for you and your family Andrew, for comfort
@@MatchboxGarage Was nice to see you got a lovely 100% paint removal.
I love the fact it got special treatment and also with the magnificent "Matchbox Magenta" 1970s colour, which I think is a shade they still use to this day, from the Superfast Ford Capri to the recent Dodge Challenger SRT8
Just sitting here watching this and realised quickly who it was for, Nicola would be beaming with smiles and love for these puppies to join the collection. Great way to remember her and her joy for the hobby too. Rob you're work is second to none and always on the money, well done on a top job
Two outstanding custom howheels Rob , they're both stunning examples of your craftsmanship , great job 👏 👍
Lovely pair of Hot Wheels! Paint and wheel choice are top notch! Really great!
The old Dodge Deora was one of my favorite model kits in the sixty's. Very nice job on both Rob. Great color in a "show car" application.
Hands down Rob. These are exceptional! I think it’s worthwhile using the wheels for every casting regardless of candy or not. The paint finsh is the best I’ve seen.
Andrew, i’m sorry for your loss.
Beautiful gift! Great choices on everything!
These came out beautifully.
Stunning, mate, simply stunning!
Excellent choice of color Rob. The buff out made a big impact on the final appearance. The choice of "big & littles" on the Bone Shaker are realistic too. The gold wheels for the Deora match really well. Cheers!
Great job with Both of your Amazing Customs on those vehicles Amazing Paintjob and very cool wheels and tires on both . Andrew sorry to hear about your lose May Nicola be at peace and now Resting in the Hands of God in heaven.
Wonderful tribute to a fallen person I'm so sorry for Andrews loss well done again Rob
Beautiful job on both of these and a great tribute for a lost loved one!
Fantastic job! I like the details Rob. Both look good.
Let's call this 💯% twice. Great job Rob. Very nice for you to do this for them. They turned out fantastic. Take care and stay safe. Woohoo, 200%
Nice work! I disguise my love of darker pink shades by using words like: Fuchsia, Magenta, Coral, etc.
My condolences on your loss Andrew...
Rob, truly fantastic work on this pairing!
Wow, that paint is amazing!
I love it, you really hit it out of the park this time.
Beautiful work Rob, the polishing is superb. My condolences to Andrew, and hope these unique keepsakes you have created, in time will bring him a smile. Stay safe, Ben
Now them look like they should, great job with both of them 😎
And what a colour 🤩
Perferct wheels on both cars.
I think these are best fantasy cars you have customized.
Whoa! These turned out awesome! Well Done! 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
Those are some next level finishes and a lovely keepsake. My condolences to Andrew. I hope these will provide some comfort and good memories.
Rob they both turned out fantastic. In sure Andrew will treasure them. 👍👍😊
Definitely some of your best work, those look fantastic
I love the way the color turned out. I’m for sure going to try this one my channel for sure !!!
WOW WOW!!!!!!more please. 👌🏻👌🏻👌🏻👌🏻👌🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
another great restoration. Andrew, sorry for your loss.
Holy cow! You took it to a whole nother level. Best episode yet!
Wow Wow that buffing wheel is awesome.
Hey Rob, I think that Deora may be one of the best looking ones you've ever done! Niceeeeee...
Absolutely fantastic job. Best so far. 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻 💯
Rob, another FANTASTIC job! You have quite they eye for customs. You could almost make it a side business. :D
I may have to send you a couple of cars for a similar treatment. :)
Very nice pair of cars, Rob and a kind tribute as well.
I’m sorry for your loss Andrew. Rob, you do amazing work.
Great polishing job! It really makes the candy paint pop!
Great work for a great collector!
Both came out fantastic
100% Paint Removal! Great job!
Love the polishing and the candy paint it does look like spectra flame paint. Killer job they look awesome. Cheers Rob from across the pond
What a neat thing to do for a super fan tribute.
I have some Deoras in my collect from my childhood, glad to see them in a new video. Sorry for your Lost Andrew
Thank you Matt. Starting a new fresh life in 2021 with a very supportive partner
Awesome job Rob 👍
Rob do more polished cars ,those were outstanding . loved them.
Yes!
Great custom on both. If u can find it on UA-cam. Some of the hot wheels models were built as full size working cars. Mick Thailand
Wow that polishing was super shiny, Me thinks that polishing wheel will be well used in the coming months. These Hot wheels castings are not my favourites but you sure made them look good Rob.
10 coats of candy - sweet!
Hi Rob,two great models don Inthe same colour, with the new wheels they look so much better, the silver details on the engine make it like new.
Very sorry for your loss Andrew 🙏
Wuaooo good job 👍
Pink power! I bloody love these!
Yeah, gold and pink goes well together. For the Bone Shaker, I myself would probably have gone with golden instead of the chrome, but either way it looks pimp!
The Deora and Deora II are real cars, Rob, and yes, they are surfer's vehicles. The models did (but not always) come with a pair of surfboards. I'm also sure that there is a real 'Boneshaker' driving about somewhere. It's one of those castings that always looks good, no matter what colour or decals are applied to it. Some have a roof, some are open, too. I've got seven or so. It's a real classic model, that always gets snapped up by collectors.
Two beauties at the end. Nice one.
Rob, looking fantastic.
While I love your “I do what I want” attitude when it comes to doing this, I want to make a suggestion that I saw on another channel (Diecast Resurrection) and that is to mix a bit of clear coat in with your spectraflame paints when doing polished nickel style like this. Keeps the additional coats down while sealing the paint.
Just a suggestion... other than that, these look amazing.
Sweet ! Looks good Rob.
First my condolences to Andrew. I’m sorry for your loss! However I have to say that the jobs you did on these two cars really made my day Rob! 200% paint removal a fantastic polished finish and a certain green and yellow flag Reflected in your hard work really made my day mate! ;-) Fantastic work with the candy on polish. Sure you can use that method again to great effect :-)
You could see your flag in the reflection 💪🏼🇧🇷
@@MatchboxGarage yup - made my day! That’s why every video has to be seen 100% :-)
Absolute eye candy !!!👌👌👌
Well done there both sweeeet 👍
Awesome job 👍
200% paint removal. Top result Rob. I'm sure that somewhere in the near future we're going to see an all polished car. 😉 Great tribute! I'm sorry for your loss Andrew. 😟
Yeah I do still need to find a suitable casting for polished finish no paint
@@MatchboxGarage a 67 Mustang? Maybe add some striping.
Nice work!!!
💯% removal. Definitely going to need a splash pad around that machine lol. Amazing results.
That's a good idea mate
Great, now I guess get a bench grinder, lol. I think you could get that level of shine with the dremel... Just a lot of elbow grease, lol. They look great Rob, a bit of a departure from your usual stuff, you should do more shiny stuff!
A Dremel would do it but would take a lot longer and would have to be a cable version as battery would run out
Nice restorations and paint jobs !
200% paint removal
Wish more people would do custom Deora IIs. They've always been my favorite, second only to the Phantom Corsair.
200% paint removal, like Geniuz Garage said :-). Both cars are existing as custom cars in the US. They look genius.
Hooray for 200% paint removal!
They both look great.
The Deora II was a modern take on the Deora, which was one of Hot Wheels' original "sweet 16".
Chip Foose built a life-size 1:1 Deora II several years back.
Got into that buffing didn't you😂 awsome job ✌
Yep more polished cars and more atención to detail 👍✌️
and there I thought we'd get to see you mix them two into a new custom. Deora Shaker or Bone 2, or something. instead we got an awesome polishing/paintjob. nothing to complain about, really.
They look great. I would like to see someone come up with a model A or 32 ford grill for the bone shaker and get rid of that head.
Good idea
Those look really good for Diora2 I would’ve done low profile tires, bone shakers wheels are insanely good
and we have a 200% paint removal!
Now the Deora II it's just missing the surfboards in the back
Kinda surprised you've never seen the Deora II, it was Bert Wheeler's car in the Highway 35 movie.
It even has it's real version!
Anyway awesome finish in both cars I love pink cars. I still want to get a hot pink redline club one
Do you have a photo of the two of them? It would be a nice touch. Great job Rob.
I'd say it was 200% paint removal :)
They actually made that car in real life
Chip Foose actually built the Deora 2 Rob, it 2as designed by somebody else , there might be a video on You Tube about it 🤔
that polishing really made that paint pop. amazing job. unfortunately thou when you took the chrome off the interiors it reminded me that I forgot to rinse the oven cleaner off my mod rod interior last night. hope I didnt melt the plastic never tried that process yet.
🤣
@@MatchboxGarage oh I'll be crying g if its melted lol
it didnt melt lol
100% paint removal times two
100% paint removal
WOW! Those look like spectra flame. Great wheel choice again and both look great. I think you've out done yourself.
If the royal mail is slow. How is FedEx or DHL or UPS there?
They seem to be ok
I like the Deora2 a lot more
Estan hermosos
Buffing wheel.... mmmmmm!
Hot Wheels has A-line up that they paint their cars like that I think is called Hot Wheels classics And the who car is made out Diecast Like the old school Hot wheel cars That you get in the early 60s
The mad maestro working his magic! What did you use for the re chrome?
I used a chrome pen
I REALLY like the way these came out...and these are 2 of my least favorite hotwheels castings...
I wonder why i am so early
200% paint removal
its a nice pair, and a very sad reason...best wishes
100% Yay
Should that be a 200% paint removal... 👍🏻
100%
100% paint removals. Yeah
awesome job rob
👍 👍
