It's been reanimated! In the '80s, I worked at a small college, and one of the professor's son had a 260...he painted it the school colors ( purple and white). Sounds kind of heinous, but it looked better than it sounds. Another successful reanimation!
I really like this video. I love how you took this from a piece of junk to a nice color flip car. Looks really good, you don't need to squint to see that. I would love to see you restore more of these beaten up ones. 👍
I love how rob says he's going to attempt to fix it but then he totally goes out of the part with it and makes it new! what a pro great work my good sir! hope all is well! hope everyone is safe and healthy over there in the UK!!
my cousin had a 260Z. it was black with gold pin stripping, two tone tan interior, and chrome rims with black and gold accents. beautiful car, fun to ride in. he totaled it when he rolled it in a street race.
Great job Rob! You could’ve fooled me I didn’t even need to squint that’s a great color and a super wheel choice. Nice to see the newly painted drawers in the background! I fully predict from the thumbnail that this will be one of your more highly watched videos - deservedly so. Take care mate
Im fortunate enough to have got hold of a much better condition version last year (with a MBx caravan with opening door). So I have yet another metallic magenta car to with my others, including the two new efforts you posted to me this week Rob (thank you BTW)
"Can it be restored?" - "Gimme 20 minutes." ~Rob this poor thing has been popped, dropped, chopped, robbed, slammed, and rammed. and now it's hard to see how far bent it actually was; everybody will say that only the roof was pressed in, if ever. awesome work! (love the wheels, too, btw)
Certainly more patience than I have doing that metal work repair! I went at a Mercury cougar superfast a while back. I ended up breaking the thing in half trying to fix the a pillar, lol. It's on the back burner now. Really good effort Rob. Looks great.
This is another one that deserves to be tagged "resurrection" rather than "restoration". :) (I'm catching up! Slowly but surely. The first few weeks of the semester are always kind of a blur...)
Ohoi there! I like this one. Turned out great. Theese kinda videos is(are?) my favorite. Taking junk ånd make it Nice... one thing å liked with the carcass you begunn with, was the slammed look.
A buddy of mine had one of these. It was black with gold trim. I got to drive it in the late 90’s when I was in the service. Pretty fast. Great job sir. Glad to see the stickers are back lol. Now maybe some labels so you don’t forget where you put the stuff now 😂😂😂
Well done, Rob. The car looks very good compared to what you began with. I guess unless you were absolutely looking, I could not tell any difference on the A-pillars. The color looks fantastic. Great job straightening the roof.
Anyone else; you can't fix this
Matchbox Garage : Hold my beer

I have to admit the paint turned out much better than I expected it to. What a beautiful result!
"Can we fix this?" ---> "Yes we can!" --> "Rob the Builder" :-D

Hey, Rob, thank you for showing how you work out bent cars, I have a few that need some attention. Now I have an idea of how to go about it. 👍🏻😎
