I have two great-nephews who are just my favourite people. I spend as much time with them as I can. They are just wonderfully kind and funny boys who light up my life.
Wow Eddie, some amazing results! You inspired me to have a go, although I don't have the same paints as you, I will experiment with what I have!! TFS. Nicola x
Hi Eddie! Fun stuff, thanks! Would you like a technical explanation of whats happening when you spray the water on the metallics? They're not oxidizing.... when you add water, you're decreasing the density of the pigmented substrate, so the mica falls to the bottom, (like it does in alcohol inks & "thinner" liquids) so what you see floating on the top is the pigmented water. The upper layers, still suspended in fluid will lift, while the lowest layer of the mica remains stuck to the plate until you add a thicker bonding substrate, like gel or paint, to grab it. Hope that was understable, lol, & hope it helps!
Hi Terry. I'm so glad you found the video helpful. Once the paint is completely dried on the plate it's hard to reactivate it. If you use a 'sticky' paint and aggressively lay it over top dried paint it can cause the dried layer to peel up. I hope that helps.
This dark blue paint does it have a metallic finish? it looked like on camera. Thanks Eddie for the great ideals for creating collage paper. Find a photographers lens\sensor cleaner (jet blower) this may prevent the fear of passing out but your hands will get tired. Nice Prints!
Yes, it's a metallic blue gouache acrylic from Jerry's Artarama. I have one of those lens cleaners but since I moved I can't find it 😂 It's probably in my storage. Thanks for watching!
Hi shelley, you can find them on amazon a.co/d/7dZOabD or if you have a local hardware store you can get them to cut down a larger piece. You can find it in the window dept. Hope that helps!

The difficult part of doing two videos in one day is that we need to see them (and I’m glad of it🤪), fabulous video Eddie❤
Watching you play on the gel plate is ALMOST as theraputic as when I play on mine! Well done, Mister Eddie!!
🥰
Aloha Eddie, Great pulls 🤙❤ The last was my favorite!
Mine too!
Really beautiful prints Eddie! TFS ♥
Thanks so much

Thank you!
Fabulous results, great colors😊
I learned so much. However, I'm bewildered by the drying process. Can you "seemingly" reactivate the dried acrylic layers below?? Beautiful results!
