Haven't tried the ones in Florida. But, I've heard the ones outside Texas aren't all that. I tried one in Gulfport, MS and definitely could tell a difference in the meat.

There are two that I know of right off the bat... one in Trussville (right outside Birmingham) and one in Clanton (between B'ham and Monthgomery)! Now I like Whataburger, but let me tell you what's good. Lotaburger in New Mexico. With double meat green chili and cheese. Now the difference is the meat still has some consistency and it cooks through. But even as good as that is, get a burger at Graze in Tucson. They have grass fed beef and it tastes like it is slightly aged. Now that like a homemade burger from when I was a kid on the farm. Where we raised our own food and ate aged meats and grilled our burgers outside and it was good.
they've just open Whataburger right next to my work place and I bought me a Mushroom swiss burger with an Onion Ring man it was good I'll go there again, it was my first time there, its in Tempe AZ.
The cool thing about Whataburger is that if they have it in the building you can ask for it. There are things you can order that aren't even on the menu, but they can make it. It gets even crazier at breakfast because you can add breakfast items like eggs or hash browns to your food if you want. A friend of mine once ordered a Chicken Quesadilla which was basically chicken strips (one item) cut up and put inside 2 tortillas (another item) with cheese (last item) and toasted. They actually made it. The people that work there come up with crazy things all the time.
